Before arriving, I searched for reviews of this hotel on Google. I cannot confirm them. Everything was supposed to be refurbished and the hotel hadn't seen a refurb in years. Everything is just old. Maybe individual rooms were renovated, mine wasn't. Our room was just in the basement overlooking a wall and a dirty drainpipe or something. The rooms are small, the fridge does not cool at all and there is black mold and rust in the bathroom. Rooms cleaned very poorly. made beds and sawn visible floors. There were flowers on the beds after daily tips, but the sink from rotten flowers was dirty for days. I give the food a maximum rating of 3. Breakfasts were the worst, old, several-day-old rolls kept in plastic bags. No one will even think to put them in the oven for 3 minutes because it would change everything. The food was the same every day: hard-boiled eggs, fried eggs, fries, something that pretended to be scrambled eggs and possibly sliced sausages. Also relatively good cheeses. A few substances pretending to be jams, margarine, the cheapest crisps. Coffee from the dispenser, only water. Not for drinking. Cold drinks are super-sweet liquids in 3 flavors in paper cups that immediately softened. Lunch and dinner the same every day. Soups absolutely inedible. Water with starch, without salt and spices ... brr. Dishes sometimes served yesterday mixed with today's. Broken chicken wings fried yesterday were simply smelly. No glass glasses. Drinking wine, beer or even drinks in a soggy paper cup is a nightmare. everything tasted like cardboard. Beer served at the pool bar quite good but light. Clean in common areas of the hotel. No insects. Hotel rather 2.5 stars than 4. The beach is a failure. People like herring in a barrel. No sense. The week was bearable. There is nothing to recommend.

This is absolutely not a 5* hotel currently, but with some pretty basic changes could be. We stayed at a 5* A.I. hotel in Belek last year and felt we knew what to expect, sadly this was a proper let down from the start. On arrival at 2am there was apparently a problem with our family room and we were put into two basic rooms in an adjoining hotel. It seems this is pretty common and several others were in the same position as proven at 2pm the following day when many families were at reception enquiring about their new rooms. I'd say it's a case of over booking and wasn't a good start. Once moved the new room was better but still felt like it was being run on a budget. No extras (internet €15 p/p), not clean, needed a refurbishment and a general lack of attention to detail eg note pad with someone else's writing on it, leaking toilet, aerial and bracket but no TV. Weird. Also no kettle, coffee, pop, crisps (simple extras that make it appear 5* and luxury). Little bottles of shampoo and soap but shower gel dispenser stayed empty throughout. Food was very samey-no themed nights eg Indian or Mexican, and although there were always good salads, a plain pasta, and then various meat and fish dishes, the labelling was unacceptable. Over 50% weren't labelled at all, or it'd say something basic like ”pastry” not what was in the pastry. As a vegetarian this made it tricky. Meals were always stressful as there weren't enough tables so people were stood with food waiting and it was a long walk away from the buffet meaning people were irritated, kids would drop food, oh and non was air-conditioned so it was boiling. Drink choices were limited, fresh fruit juice was €2 extra, milkshakes around €6+, other drinks esp for the children were highly syrupy and not great. Thankfully you could help yourself to little sealed cups of water pretty much everywhere. Convenient but not so eco. We went to the Italian a la carte and it was so shambolic we walked out, as did another family. For example we'd pre booked, said 2 were vegetarian, this seemed not to have been passed on then we were presented with 100% plain boiled pasta with a sachet of ketchup and mayonnaise on the side. The pool and slides and beach were good - apart from there being no where near enough sunbeds. We'd read beforehand to take your own inflatable which was definitely something I'd recommend too. They charge €2 to blow it up or we did it ourselves. It's well located, on a main road so we caught the bus for 10m to Side to see the ruins and easily caught the bus back. The highlight of the holiday. Entertainment was mixed... one night a dance show, one night bizarre couples challenges on stage including wrapping their partner in toilet roll. I know it sounds like I have no sense of humour but seriously at a 5*?? Hardly anyone stayed to watch which should have spoken volumes. There was a foam party in one pool, and rave music from 10am-12am (yes, morning til midnight) which

Stayed for 7 days during February 2024, What a great place and location apartments are spacious and maintained to a very high standard. The staff on duty/cleaners are always polite and available should you need them. Air con Hot/Cold work well in the lounge and bedroom. Didn't use the pool which is quite small due to the time of year, we had a fantastic week with the weather approx 22/23% everyday. Gripes:- Turkey is not cheap anymore Taxi's appear to be 15 euro everywhere you go. To eat out for two with a couple of beers approx £40.00. I'm afraid that this put a little damper on our break so it's back to All Inclusive for us which we fel is better value. If you want quality self catering apartments then this is the place for you.

I booked to stay here by reading the reviews on here and it didn’t fall far short of what everyone has been saying. The Hotel - small enough that it’s personable. I got to know most people. It’s very clean and the ladies very hard in the rooms and public areas. The pool area is great and in sunlight all day. Breakfast is ok...sufficient but better at the sister hotel. If half board, dinner is at the sister hotel (well it was at end of sept) and very good too. Everyone raves about Hasán but in the week I was there, he wasn’t about much. I did hear maybe due to illness thou so... A great hotel at a fabulous price. Near the hotel (right out of hotel then right again) is a fabulous little shop that does toasties and chips for next to nothing. I got lunch, snacks and drinks for around 20 lira. Ice lollies for 1 lira. This was a great find especially as the rest of Side is massively inflated with tourist prices.

We decided to stop here for a night during a trip to belek, the guy on reception, which at the minute is a make shift one was very welcoming and apologetic about the ‘state’ of the place due to having a new hotel built over the road. However this did not effect us or our room, which was lovely. The location and view of the room we had was stunning. The room was well equipped and obviously very well maintained. We were a little disappointed that we had only booked the one night! Side old town turned out to be a lovely little place with friendly people and this hotel was the ideal place to explore the old town from. We hope to be back soon to see the new hotel when it’s finished!

Hi All! 🙂 I have chosen this hotel, because of many 5* reviews. The hotel is only for adults, and it is true, no children at all. Only on beach, because there are many people walking around. Hotel is not the firstline one, but 200 m to beach walking next to grass yard is ok. Starting from reception, all went smoothly. Thank you for it! Room, maybe not so big, but nice, we had the pool/sea view. It was nice to have an wine as a gift for us, also nice gift was beach bag - really useful. One more important thing! When you close the window, you do not hear music, and can stay in silent room! Very important for me! Minuses of the room - no bathroom, but separate toilet/shower. Room could be more detailed interior finished, example old tiles on the floor. Bed could have a wellpure materace, because it was uncomfortable. 🙈 Pool and space around the hotel was really nice.😊 Personel - very well organized!👌🏻 Restaurant - delicious!👍🏻 Coffee place - cakes could be better, Tui magic life belek had wonderful mono mini desserts. 🍨 Show -👎🏻❗️ hm… Turkish show - let me add - one show for the whole week - drama. We chose hotel for adults, and show was made by teenagers… laughing to each other, nobody knew about what… that was not a show. 😢 Better show made Jimmy on Olive Oil testing and cooking 🤗 ! Bingo was also great!👍🏻 What is also worth saying Old Town is really close and worth going.

First of all, the breakfast of the hotel is hearty, normally nice. Nightly accommodation is affordable. The location is also close to the ancient city of Side and the beach. Close to minibus stops. Let's get to the downsides. Refrigerators cool too late. (I think the refrigerators need to be replaced or a system that will stay on electricity all the time.) It was like the room I stayed in didn't get the sun. The balcony door does not open because it is a coffee table. If you remove the coffee table, you will have difficulty finding a place to put it. The room I stayed in was narrow. If you add up the attracting TV channel, there are 10-15. You watch Tatlıses TV :) Also, the room I stayed in smelled strangely of cigarettes. My guess is that they couldn't open the balcony door, so they were constantly smoking inside. Don't expect much sound insulation. It is a hotel that can be stayed for short trips, but I would definitely not recommend staying for a long time.

There are numerous eateries, supermarkets and salons within a 10min walk. The beach is less than 5mins away and the antik city of side is barely a 5-7mins walk. The breakfast was a traditional kahvalti which was cok lezzetti..! The rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy. The views from the terrace and rooms is one I could easily get used to. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would love to go back again and have a longer stay. Definitely recommend aura boutique. 👍👍

We broke up today. The hotel is very cute. The pool garden is very clean and tidy. It's a peaceful environment. The breakfast is sufficient. Dinner could have been a little better in taste. But we were satisfied in terms of price performance. We stayed in a 1+1 room as a family. It was good in general. Air conditioner fridge was working. I can say that the WiFi connection was the best in the 5 star hotels I've ever stayed in. It was full even at the poolside. There were minor shortcomings, but it was very nice that they provided instant solutions to the problems with a phone call and completed the deficiencies. That's what counts anyway. All employees were very kind and interested. Mrs. elif and Mr. Furkan were rushing for the satisfaction of the guests. Special thanks to all of them. Some comments are very cruel. I guess they want to get 5 star hotel service and comfort for this money. Interesting.. we left satisfied. If we come to Side again, it is a place we will choose. It was a 2 year business. I wish success and good luck to Ms. Elif and Mr. Furkan.

The hotel is right by the sea, three or five minutes away from the station, close to the museum, with its own restaurant, beach, tea house, the entire hotel is as large as a garden, the greenery is very good, and it is based on hillsides and monuments. The staff was very welcoming, the room was cleaned every day, and a heart-shaped towel was made with bougainvillea. The balcony was filled with fragrant honeysuckle in the morning, and the orange tree had fruit. Our room was just for the promotion of China, Japan and Korea, and it was a dinner. The buffet breakfast was very rich. In a scenic spot where dining is generally expensive, it is really wonderful to have a free dinner! Live and don't want to go. Asian tourists are very rare, they are very friendly to us and highly recommend this hotel!

This review is exclusively about the restaurant, which has become our favourite on the beach promenade so far! Our waiter Emrah was very nice and attentive without being too present, and made the experience very pleasant. You could really enjoy the good food and the view without being interrupted all the time. We had seafood starters, Turkish dinners, a bottle of wine and drinks afterwards. Everything was very good and fresh. While having drinks we played cards, and got a lovely fruit platter on the house. The View of the ocean is also wonderful. We saw the whole sunset from here.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay at Sun City. We stayed over new year so very much out of season. The hotel was in a good location within easy walking distance of the old town. Everything was clean and we felt we got good value for money. We booked half board. Breakfast was mainly ok, other than one day when there was table service for breakfast (rather than the usual buffet) with no explanation. The evening meal was from a set menu and was a random (but tasty) soup followed by whatever you wanted from the menu. No Turkish options which was a shame. The food was very nice and huge portions. The service was friendly but a bit disorganised. A couple of days before New Years Eve we got a notice in our room to say there was a New Years Eve menu and entertainment. £20 pp to upgrade from half board, £40 pp to upgrade for self-catering. We booked this at reception but when we arrived at the event they didn’t seem to be expecting us. The hotel suddenly filled with Turkish guests that night, as you might expect. The meal was amazing - a delicious 6-course meal which took between 8pm and 1am to be served and eaten. There was live music (all Turkish) and a great atmosphere. Local drinks were included, which ended up being great, but took us over an hour to be served our first drink! Eventually we were able to use the bar. Would recommend this event! The indoor pool was warm and clean and the hotel pets were all lovely - including 4 week old puppies which were adorable. They all seemed well cared for.

The hotel is modernly furnished and immaculately kept clean. Room cleaning on a daily basis. Apparently having been recently refurbished - the facilities look quite new. Very good selection of food within the All-In. OK - some meals are repetitive, but the selection is so great that even with a two week stay I didn't have to eat the same meal multiple times - unless I wanted to. And truthfully - sometimes I even wanted to 😉 when I really liked it. The drinks within the All-In are a very decent standard. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive at the hotel until well after midnight. We were immediately shown to our room, checked in, given a code for WiFi and an in-room safe (both of which are chargeable but we knew this beforehand). Reception was always helpful throughout our stay and arranged everything we needed. The pool isn't great, but that's all I can say about it - I had no need to use it. Because: the hotel provides a regular shuttle service to the private beach. And the beach is just not bad, the sea is clean... For All-In guests there is unlimited soft drinks, local beer and if you don't want to go back to the hotel for lunch, there is a lunch menu. With less choice, but also tasty. And the stuffed pancakes (which are baked by the handy lady right in front of you) are absolutely delicious! There is a themed evening for guests 3 - 4 times a week with a program and dinner prepared right in front of you - Turkish evening, evening with dance performance, etc. It's a nice change to your stay. There was a night bar on the corner opposite our room with quite loud music - honestly if they changed the playlist occasionally it wouldn't be a bad thing... otherwise I have no problem with it. When the door to the balcony is closed, it doesn't disturb too much. Finally - the hotel staff should be commended. They are friendly, helpful and can make a holiday more pleasant with their smile (which was never missing with them). And if some do not speak flawless English - so what. Neither did I and we always agreed on everything we needed. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for a wonderful holiday and if I may use a very famous movie line - I´ll be back... 😉

My lovely girlfriend and I, spend a week in the hotel and we only have our warmest recommandations to share. Nice rooms for the Price. Amazing garden and poolarea, but most importantly and amazing and serviceminded staff! Arrived at night without water or anything. The owner was there to welcome us and immediately stepped up as host for the week. Opened up the bar to get us water and a Well deserved travel beer ☺️ All week, we have only met smiling and friendly faces. Always on their toes to help. Owner speaks Norwegian - we are from Denmark - Nice for those of us to whom its an advantage. Free transport to a really Nice Beach and beachclub. We loved it! Best from Alice & Kenny

Hotel is very clean, and we had a pool view which was perfect. Rooms are adequate - not a lot of room, but the air con was a blessing. Breakfast wasn't to the british palette (no bacon, sausage), but if you like eggs, they are plentiful in omlette, boiled and fried form! If you like bread, salami, ham, cheese, olives, tomatoes, hard fruit and very sour yoghurt, then you'll be ok (they so have chips for breakfast next to the pancakes 🤪). Lunch and evening meals were very good. During the afternoon, biscuits, cake and melon were provided. Downside - the puddings. Dry sponges only - no ice cream/creamy desserts at all. All inclusive bar provided only the following alcohol: beer, wine, reki, malibu, vodka. They had about 6 cocktails, which contained rum, but these were 'ready mixed' so they just added lemonade go them. I was disappointed that there wasn't rum or gin, (but that's because I dont like the other choices). The bar staff are pleasant (especially Mustapha 🤗), but no smile from the reception staff, and a very unpleasant sauna owner who voiced his anger when he found we'd visited another Spa for treatment. On the whole, we had a good time and were happy with the hotel and thought we'd had a good experience for the price paid, just disappointed with breakfast and not so 'all-inclusive' bar, otherwise I would have rated it was excellent.

The small hotel is very comfortable, a five-minute walk from the sea. Side has the best sandy beach on the Mediterranean side of the country, suitable for long-term living. The boss is an old couple who is very kind to people and enjoys communication. He also introduced me to many surrounding attractions.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, the center can be reached on foot along the picturesque promenade or by minibus. I really liked the mattresses and pillows in the hotel, as well as the presence of a kettle and hair conditioner in the room. The breakfasts are hearty and tasty, the Internet is fast, the staff is friendly and helpful.

There appears to be such confusion online, between THIS accomodation, which is ”Begonville Pansion” in the old town, and the Begonville Apartments, which is outside the old town, as people are talking about reception areas, and TV in the rooms, NEITHER of which Begonville Pansion has! When you get to Turkey, make sure you have your phone ready to go, as, when you arrive at the Begonville Pansion, you'll need to be able to ring them so they can come and meet you. There is NO reception desk, and no permanent person on site. You may be luck and arrive during the day and bump into the cleaner who will check you in ..but if you arrive at a silly hour, like we did, with phone not sorted, we weren't able to contact anyone to be checked in.We arrived at around 5.30 in the morning, so just sat and chilled in their lovely garden until someone arrived at about 6.30am. It's NOT a normal hotel, so either have your phone sorted so you can call them and advise of your arrival so they can let you in, OR get the transfer bus driver to call them when he drops you off. The transfer company initially tried dropping as off at the Begonville Apartments hotel.....wrong place, and this will likely happen to you, as it's seemingly a common error. Hotel was basic, very rustic, free WiFi. Bathroom had shower cubical, toilet, sink. A good 50% of the time there was no hot water. Needed to have a bit more tlc with the upkeep, as towel ring had come off the wall bracket, and was left on window sill. Fresh towels, fresh bedding, bed not uncomfortable, and an air con unit, which unfortunately the ”swinging” vanes function had broken, and was wedged open with a bit of cardboard, and what looked like a used tissue. Our room was on the street side (as apposed to the back garden of the property). It was pretty noisy, as not only noises from the street just outside, but pumping music can be heard loudly coming from a lot of the big beachfront bars/restaurants. A few people have said the noise stops by 12....DO NOT believe this! Most of the normal street noises, yes, as most of the shops and restaurants close at midnight...BUT the bigger seafront places keep going till around 3.30am.....and you do REALLY hear this! Altogether, a quaint ,rustic little hotel, which we loved, and sitting out in the garden in the evenings was lovely! The restaurant next door (as you face the hotel, restaurant is in the right), is a fantastic places to eat, very very friendly, excellent food, good choice, nice atmosphere, and we were given many complimentary salads and coffees. When it's time to come home, the transfer company will text you and tell you when to be standing outside the hotel waiting...but, as before make sure they come to the correct hotel, as that you give them the address at which they need to collect....we did that, and the person STILL said they were coming to the Begonville Apartments to collect us...we gave them the correct address, and they replied ”it's the same hotel”...to which we r

You should understand that you are not settled in 5*. There will be no location lake, perfect repair. In general you pay 1300-1800 depending on the room. We took the most expensive for 1800 with their terrace. As a result , what you get : Yes furniture is far from new , but old, slightly scratched. Walls may be slightly scratched somewhere. Yes, a little toilet stream and the door to the bathroom was badly closed. The biggest minus that happened to us at the moment was no hot water, but we knew what we paid for. We took it for neither for a week, nor for two, but for a couple of nights. The first room is huge, two large rooms with 4 beds, where a man can accommodate 6. We had a huge terrace, a kitchen with all the facilities. Everything was cleanly cleaned. And to the sea 3-4 minutes walk. Parking for the car was always present too. So decide yourself, good or not, expensive or cheap. For us it's normal
