Perhaps the best onsen I have ever been to. Great room, with tatami mats and excellent sleeping mats, ultra comfortable. Room very-well equipped, spacious, nice bathrooms. Hotel with great gift shop and plenty of meibutsu, including lots of lovely Kintaro-themed packages. The baths are spacious, super hot, great washing facilities, well-provided, excellent cold shower, dry sauna with TV - I could stay around all day. Always everything super clean. Service is kind and attentive. I had fabulous local food, and they were always very careful with my allergies (no shiro-ebi for me). Perfect everything. Congratulations to the team!

All hotels in Japan are clean, give good service and have good facilities. The tricky points of hotel selection in Japan are room size and location. The rooms were really big 30 sqm. All hotels near the Kurobe Gorge are in Uozo, except for one Japanese style hotel near the gorge train. All the hotels in Uozo are near the train station. The train to Uozo stops just by the Shinkansen train station.

Given the quality of the food (Keiseki dinner, even a small morsel of fugu to grill at one's breakfast table) and the beautiful outdoor onsen - the gender of which switches evening and morning to allow both men and women to enjoy it, otherwise the indoor bath is okay, this place is really good. At the very end of the really quiet little town of Unazuki Onsen, where the Kurobe Gorge train begins. However, a little bit of Japanese will definitely help any foreign guests, as pretty much no one on the staff speaks any English. The Hotel also had a serious plumbing problem, the toilet in our room was unusable as it emitted noxious gas, so we really couldn't use it, and weren't able to be assigned a different room - apparently others had the same problem, maybe it was a temporary issue?

Kurobe Hotel is one thousand fourteen early. The hotel environment is expensive, the service does not feel enthusiastic, and the occupancy rate is not high. If you want to go out for dinner, you must arrange for the car to go out. Although it is free, it is not convenient. There are no meals in the hotel (if there is no reservation), only the instant noodles are three times more expensive than the outside. Next time you can consider staying outside Kurobe, take the electric train to Unayue for 20 minutes in the morning, and then take a small train for sightseeing in the afternoon Outside Yunai month, this way, at least the hotel can save half the cost. Because this view room is really not bad, you can only look at the opposite mountain, not open and majestic, breakfast can see the picture, is a set meal, the rice is still very fragrant.
