This lovely guest house is nestled in a peaceful location, yet conveniently within walking distance of numerous local restaurants and activities. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, offering a cozy sanctuary after a day of exploration, allowing us to unwind and recharge. Complete with a refreshing pool and relaxing area, this guest house is the ideal place to be in a bustling city. The hosts, Steve and Sarah, welcomed us with genuine friendliness and hospitality creating an inviting atmosphere. They were always ready to offer helpful suggestions and insider tips about the area, ensuring that our stay was filled with unforgettable experiences. Manin, who works with three little birds, was our friendly regular tuk tuk driver who allowed us to more thoroughly and conveniently delve into the beauties of Angkor Wat. Overall, we highly recommend this lovely guest house to anyone seeking a peaceful and convenient retreat in Siem Reap. Hard to find a negative thing to report. The pool is much smaller than the pics may suggest. The pool area can accomodate just 5 people.But no problem during my stay as there was only a very few other guests. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the bathroom modern and functional. Cleaning is perfect. The bedsheets soft and very clean. The matress very comfortable. Staff is very friendly & helpful and most speak good english. There is a security guard day&night who takes care of eventually rented motorbikes. The location is very good. There is a big supermarket next door and loads of eateries in walking distance. Motorbike for rent just next door (10-17$ a day depending on size of the bike). Nightmarket and Pubstreet a 5 min walk only. The Hard Rock Cafe can get a little noisy if you are going to bed early. Paid less than 30$ which makes this hotel a very sweet deal. There is also a very fancy restaurant on the bottom floor which unfortunately was closed during my stay. Would definitely come back to stay here on my next visit.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

Due to very special reasons, I stayed in the hotel for nine consecutive days. Later, there was no room and no arrangements were made, so I had to move out. In terms of location, the hotel is still some distance away from the Bar Street Old Market. It is not realistic to walk by yourself, but the hotel can arrange free tutu to the Bar Street Old Market after 5pm every day. At other times, take a taxi to the Old Market by yourself. US dollars. The hotel is on the side of a big road, opposite to the circus, and there is a stadium that is not fully built (it is February 2020, almost completed). There is a gas station diagonally opposite the hotel. There is a small supermarket in the gas station. There are also some private small shops nearby, and there are also street stalls (there is an uncle who sells steamed corn, 0.5 dollars apiece)... In other words, although the location of the hotel is a bit biased, it is generally good. After all, the hotel has a good environment and large space, so you can breathe fresh air at will. But in the downtown area, it is difficult for ordinary hotels to have such a large public space, except for that kind of big hotel. The hotel has a large yard, two swimming pools, twelve cabins and two larger cabins (maybe suites). It is possible to stare at the swimming pool and stare at the blue sky without leaving the hotel. I booked two wooden houses, one of my parents lived in, and asked for two beds (given a double bed and a very large single bed); one lived with my husband, a large double bed, and because it was On the wedding anniversary, the honeymoon room was furnished for the first day of staying in the hotel (swan roses...Of course, you have to specify the requirements in the order) ps Later, I wanted to renew my stay, but the hotel only has one room available. The manager said if we would like , I can add an extra bed for four adults to live together, but I didn’t want to, so I changed the hotel later. But during my stay, I did see a few foreigners living together with three adults, and the room space was really comfortable, but I didn’t want to live like that myself. Besides, each wooden house is a detached house and will not disturb each other at all. The room space is very large, the bathroom is also very large, there is a bathtub and shower in the bathroom, the bath water is super hot and the water pressure is very high. As mentioned in the previous comment, there is no full-length mirror, and then there is enough space to put things, but there are not many places to put things, because the dressing table is relatively small, and things can be put on the refrigerator. In fact, the room is so big that you can add a cabinet shelf for things. The service is so good. I can give me as many points as I can. Here first call 10000000 + The service staff up and down are very friendly, very nice and impeccable. There are five types of breakfast packages, Cambodian, European, American, Chinese and healthy breakfast. My husband and I have ordered Cambodian noodles once in five days. The rest are American (bread, fried eggs, sausages...). It's not so rich, but the ingredients are fresh and full. The breakfast was booked the night before, and the service staff would specifically come to ask what kind of breakfast to eat the next day. There are welcome snacks (croissants and juice) on the first day of check-in, two frozen coconuts are delivered every day, and a fruit platter is provided after each meal... The hotel basically responds to requests. There is a farewell gift before leaving, and you can choose your own scarf and doll. Very cost-effective hotel. If I have to pick out something wrong, it means that the chickens in the hotel croak regularly every morning, and the road outside the hotel is full of large cars running back and forth. Sleeping at night is indeed a bit noisy, but unless you sleep very lightly, otherwise This has little effect. Forgot to say, the hotel's meal (lunch and dinner) is super delicious, don't go to any bar street, just order at the hotel, believe me, that's right.

Great and comfortable stay! I stay for 3 nights in the hotel, where i had really pleasant stay, because the staff service are really friendly, helpful and polite. Moreover the location is close to the city center and touristic places by walking, apart of that the facilities of the hotel such as common areas, swimming pool and bar are great! Owner Mr Bovuth was very helpful and kind-hearted. He made all the arrangements to make our stay at Bou Savy Villa, a pleasant one during our recent visit to Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Pick & drop off at the airport, a very good tour guide, other local arrangements like Cambodian Cultural Dance & Buffet show tickets and Tuk-Tuk for local daily transportations. The location of the hotel was very good, conveniently located near to all the restaurants, markets and mainly Angkor Archaeological Park. Hotel is family friendly, peaceful and relaxing. They have a swimming pool and lots of greenery on the premises. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided hearty breakfast everyday morning. Rooms and the lobby are kept clean all the time. Tour guide Mr Chenla Mao was very knowledgeable about the Angkor Archaeological Park and the locality. He is very friendly and took good care of my aged father. Always on time and planned out our days properly not to over exhaust my dad and at the same time was able to cover most of the park with detailed explanation. Also learnt lot of photo tricks from him :-) The car driver was also very friendly. He also acted as a professional photographer taking lots of decent pictures of us while we were exploring the place. Overall, we really had a good time and planning to recommend to my friends to stay at Bou Savy Villa and engage the same tour guide & team for their visit to Angkor Wat, Cambodia.

Cooler is made in Japan Important in Cambodia Staff who can respond in Japanese are all around, so students can remove intercultural anxiety. This is one of the friendliest places I've ever stayed at. Me and my 11 year old son arrived for the first time in Cambodia and the manager couldn't not have done any more to make us feel welcome. He arranged a transfer from the airport and showed us to our A/C with fan room. They helped so much with tuk tuk to the the temples. Where to eat and get about. Beautiful children filling the foyer with laughter. Practically as well it is in an excellent location. Tucked away off the street and walking distance to any of the action/food/shopping or just walking and talking. Felt very safe and wish we had planned a longer stay. Jonathan and Monty UK

This was an absolute gem of a hotel. It's near the main attractions without being on top of them. It was a bargain price with breakfast included. It's not far from Siem Reap airport & they can arrange collection from the airport for you. There are a couple of supermarkets opposite as well as pharmacy in one of them. There are lots of restaurants a short walk away towards the river & Pub Street as well as a market which is open in the evenings. Ankor Wat temples are also only a short tuk-tuk ride away. The hotel has 2 x small pools which were great, as well as happy hour in the early evenings to sample their cocktails while you cool off at one of the pools. The breakfast was impressive with a wide selections / choices to suit all nationalities. Probably the best breakfasts we had on our 3 week trip. The rooms were large, with the most comfortable beds. The bathroom was modern with a lovely shower. There are tuk-tuks outside the hotel so if you don't feel like walking it's easy to get that lift. We also used the spa facilities & had massages & treatments which were so cheap compared to other places we visited & were great. The staff were friendly helpful & courteous. All in all I could not fault this wonderful hotel. Would I stay there again? - Absolutely I would!

Séjour en famille dans cette magnifique villa aux proportions grandioses et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Les 3 autres villas sur site étaient louées au mois, et les résidents très discrets. Le jardin est magnifique et entretenu avec goût par les employés. La literie est très confortable. La cuisine dispose d’un équipement basique permettant de réchauffer des plats (micro ondes, gazinière avec casserole), de se faire un café (cafetière avec filtre) ou un thé (bouilloire). Il y a une petite échoppe en face de l’entrée des villas. Le site est placé un peu en périphérie de Siem Reap, au calme mais facilement accessible et surtout dans un quartier très vivant (lycée, universités) et agréable pour découvrir le mode de vie cambodgien. On peut facilement relier à pied (ou en tuk tuk) le centre ville de Siem reap (environ 15 mn à pied). Il y a beaucoup de petits restos et mini markets dans cette avenue. Des petits déjeuners sont servis directement tous les matins dans la villa mais pas possible d’ajuster le menu : découverte chaque matin (sandwichs surimi, oeufs bacon pommes de terre, salades de fruits …). Enfin, la piscine est juste parfaite tant pour les enfants que pour les adultes…

The pool is amazing and has an awesome waterfall and bar attached. The rooms were clean though sometimes it took awhile for the staff to come in and remake the room. When they remake the bed they do not put fresh sheets so if you're staying for more than a week you may want to request an actual sheet change. The front desk is super helpful and will give you maps, suggestions, and what tuk tuk rides should cost. They are honest and very good at catering to your needs. Though there were a couple of blackouts during the day, they got the power back on quite quickly. The hotel makes an amazing steak/beef salad and it's a 5 minute walk away from an AMAZING Cambodian bbq place called Darany bbq 3. It's also about a 10 minute walk away from the market.

There aren't many rooms, so we were able to spend 5 days in a quiet and relaxing stay. The restaurant's food was not very fancy, but it was exquisite and timeless, making use of natural ingredients. When we wanted to spend time on our own, they left us alone, and when we asked for their services, they responded flexibly and very kindly. This time it was just my wife and I, and we were able to make many good memories.

I'm Japanese. I stayed at this hotel for one night to see the Encore Wat ruins. The location is very good, about 10 minutes by bike to the city pub street and 15 minutes to Encore Wat. The hotel was very kind, and even if I arrived at the hotel around 23:00, I asked for check-in procedures, rental bikes, and taxi arrangements, and they were willing to accept it. Rental bikes were also lent for $12 a day, which was a very enjoyable trip. I would like to stay again when I visit Siem Reap again. The disadvantage is 1. I think it will take a taxi fee for those who do not rent a motorcycle (it took $10 to get back and forth from the hotel early in the morning to Encore Wat) 2. It may have been bad to use, but I felt a little inconvenient because the shower temperature did not rise.

A very partial manor, self-contained, scattered with ten or twenty sets of two-storey villas, with large intervals between the villas, our family of four lives in one, and outside the window is a wild pond surrounded by old trees, which is very natural and wild. The room has a huge living room, dining room, three or four bathrooms, and four or five bedrooms. It feels empty and lonely for four people living in it, and there is no TV. Breakfast and other meals are delicious, with few varieties and average portions. The price is small and expensive, and ordinary half a catty of beer costs three dollars. The restaurant is in an open pavilion, surrounded by green lawns and seedling fields. Beautiful environment and excellent service.

The staff were excellent and Ms Sopheak Yam made sure everything went perfectly from airport pick up to drop off. Would definitely stay again. It is a short tuk tuk ride away from the main town but with plenty to see on the way in. Rooms are all good sizes and comfortable. The living spaces are ample and the pool is perfect for the Cambodian temperatures. The catering was fantastic. On the whole cheaper and far more relaxing than our last stay in a resort.

High privacy and quiet, convenient location, not far from the districts. Free breakfast until 12 o'clock, free transportation is available at any time, there is a separate private pool on the roof, suitable for families to play with children, all the supplies and drinks in the room are free. The most important thing is that the boss is called Mike, very enthusiastic. Where you want to experience what activities, ask him directly. The hotel environment is OK, not much different from the photos on the hotel introduction. But the photo looks at the hotel is very large, in fact, the overall area of the hotel is not that large. But this problem is not big. 😂 Hotel service is good. But I didn't ask me how many floors I wanted to live on, so I booked the first floor directly. When I expressed my desire to live on the second floor, I also helped me change to the second floor in time. 👍 After entering the room, I found that the two socket switches were out of power, the speakers could not be used, and there was no electricity. The safe was out of power because the battery was out of power and could not be used. Fortunately, after my feedback, they also dealt with it in time and liked it. If I can check everything OK before I check in, if it is completely fine, I will give five stars. Finally, when the airport drop-off was not arranged. There may also be my reason, I didn't tell them one day in advance, let them arrange, and only said when they had to leave. 😅

This has been a breathtaking stay at Waka Villas (7 star quality indeed). Well situated only a few minutes by tuk tuk from the center of Siem Reap city where markets and intriguing streets allow for a wonderful experience among locals. We want to thank the entire Staff especially Manager Mr. Okabe and our kindest Siem and Kim for being always one step ahead of our needs. And our tour guide „Mr. T“ (Tola) who has a one of a kind way of explaining the history of Cambodia with so much fun we ended up retelling his stories to our families! Encouraging us to think about what we see and understand the bountiful kindness of the Cambodian people. Thank you for introducing us to Cambodia with so much love. We stayed here for 6 nights, and loved it. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The pools are fantastic and a welcome relief from the heat. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the service is very attentive. We enjoyed the short tuk tuk ride into town. The staff who work here are so exceptionally helpful and lovely, it really is a wonderful place to stay. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel had a nice relaxing vibe and every room came with a balcony. Hotel came with a beautiful pool and a well stocked, comfortable room. Hotel was in a central location, a stones throw away from Pub Street and the main night markets. Best thing about this hotel are the staff. They had attention to detail and diligently passed instructions from one shift to another. They were genuinely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure your comfort. Staff were very fluent in English so there was no communication issues whatsoever.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

I stayed here for one week in December and ended up extending my staff for a month. Very friendly and homey place with comfortable rooms, nice pool, good food but above all is the friendliness of the staff, owners, regular, long stay guests, and regular customers who stop in all the time for a drink or to play a game of pool. Made lots of friends here and will return on my every visit to Siem Reap.

No need to go to a giant chain hotel/resort to feel like you’re the most special being on earth and that the sun rises and sets from your bottoms, here at villa indochine d’angkor the staff will treat you just like that. Honestly they’d probably treat you even better than some of your family members. The transfer to and from airport is included in your room which is a great value, the arrangement was easy and once I stepped out of the luggage claim my chariot was already there waiting with my name. Upon arrival I was met with friendly smiles and welcome & my room was even ready before the check-in time and not just ready, they had arranged flowers and leaves beautifully in my name on the bed despite having no special occasion with no extra charge or pre arrangement whatsoever. They also upgraded my room free of charge ! Miss lyka who was the receptionist at the time and her male coworker arranged for everything and settled me into my room perfectly. The hotel maybe small as it is a boutique hotel but it’s beautiful and has everything you could possibly need and they even have free shuttle if u want to go to downtown. I also booked a massage which they arranged for it in my room and everything was easy, smooth and on time and the massage was soo relaxing it knocked me out afterwards. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and will give your the sense of having the sole purpose to please & make your stay comfortable, so please tip your staff if you like the service cos $1-2 may not do much for you & cant even get a Starbucks coffee but it goes a long way here. If you need to leave your bags after checkout you can also do so they will keep them safe for you & even arrange ride back for you to the airport when you return.

Location is excellent and staff is very friendly, ready to help. Even though breakfast is not buffet they prepare nice food for you. Hotel is a bit old hence cleanliness could be improved. Unfortunately the hotel surrounding is very noisy by farm animals. People not used to it will have hard time to sleep.

The hotel is prefect including location walking to pub street in 15 mins, restaurant near by and in the hotel, reasonable price, staff is helpful, but I was at 3/fl, I could hear sound from the 4/fl bar. Most of time the noise will stop around 10:30 pm.
