GOYA Hotel (Warorot Market)
Chiang Mai Riverside Chiang Mai | 0.03km from Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
The room is very small, the bathroom is also very small, and the wooden floor is not soundproof. It is very noisy when there are people checking in at night or people rushing to take off their suitcases in the morning. But the hotel is in a very good location, 1.7 kilometers away from Tha Pae Gate and only a 20-minute walk away. It is relatively close to the ancient Chinatown and Warolo Market, and the night view of Pinghe River is very good at night. You need to swipe your room card to enter and exit the lobby on the first floor, which is very safe. Boiling water is provided 24 hours a day and free instant coffee☕️.

The Bridge An Eclectic Luxotel
Chiang Mai Riverside Chiang Mai | 0.07km from Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
We spent a week here and found the staff to really represent the owner's sensibilities in actions and plan. Everyone was great with us, our wait staff at breakfast, the housekeepers and especially the front desk staff. The room was superb. There was a hand of bananas along with a number of ripe tangerines and apples for our room. I don't usually gush over sheets and towels, but the quality of both were appreciated. There is construction activity going on near the pool as we are here so new things are coming. One of us got an ”owie” and had to have a few stitches. Front Desk ”Nidnoi” and a driver took us to the nearest hospital and stayed with us throughout, providing translation services. There are excellent restaurants nearby. Just outside the Narawak bridge the location could not be better. My highest recommendation.

The room was spacious with a bathtub. Surprise that the room had a kitchen counter so you could cook or have meals in the rooms. You can easily stay in one room for 2-4 people. Cause the sofa is quite large. Preferred for holiday. The Hotel Environment was very nice and relaxed.

Gategaa Village
Charoenmueng Area Chiang Mai | 0.13km from Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
We stayed at Gategaa Village between the 31st March and 3rd April 2024 and were very pleased with the quality of the service and the property. The location of Gategaa village is a little off the beaten track so I’d recommend you download the Grab app to use on taxis for pickup/ drop off to avoid confusion. The room itself was really well maintained, a couple of small details such as the seal on the bathroom door being loose and the tiling in the courtyard looking a bit scruffy. Housekeeping were great and very regular with their service. A large bottle of drinking water per day is included in your stay which is great. The staff were really helpful and accommodating and we made use of one of the spa recommendations given in the lobby which was excellent! Overall I think this is a great option for you if you’re travelling on a bit of a budget but still want a clean, well looked after place to stay that doesn’t add stress to your trip.

Puripunn Hideaway

Me and my partner are finishing our stay tomorrow at this hotel and we have loved every minute! The service in Thailand is already great, but at this hotel the service is outstanding! The staff are so lovely and friendly and are happy to help at any time. The attention to detail is like nothing I have experienced staying in any hotel before. The cleaning service, the incense sticks on outside our room after arriving back after an evening out, the hotel offer an in house laundry service (cost per item), which we used. We received it back only a few hours later, washed, ironed and folded and smelling gorgeous. The second day was my partner’s birthday, they gave us two free cocktail vouchers, a pancake breakfast which they came out and sang happy birthday too and origami towels laid on our bed when we got back from our morning cooking class. They made it so special. Our room is absolutely spotless and the attention to detail and decor is stunning. Facilities are amazing, clean towels on the side of the pool. Pool beautiful with a jacuzzi which is hot and relaxing. The breakfast is fabulous with great options. Fresh fruit, eggs (which they cook any way for you as requested), fresh fruit juice, pastries, great milk alternative ( I had oat milk), meat, cheese, olives, cereal, yogurt. The hotel is a short walk to the old town but they also offer a free shuttle service to the night Bazaar market and to the old city wall gates. Amazing service! I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone! Thanks so much for a beautiful stay.

Rarin Jinda Wellness Spa Resort
Chiang Mai Riverside Chiang Mai | 0.23km from Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
This resort is in the heat of Chang Mi town center. A very quiet relaxing hotel that was opened up by the royal princess. This mini resort is really a good place to escape from everyday life. We stayed in one of the suites, very spacious, very clean, had lovely aromas, a super big spa bath, and an overall elegant look to it. A great outside space overlooking the property, and a nice bed lounger too. The housekeeping team really knows what they're doing and is very polite. All staff at the resort are very pleasant. The pool area for this resort is great, very clean, and has good features. A good place to cool down after day drips in the heat. Breakfast is located over the road at their off-site restaurant. Breakfast is very simple, and offers you different national types of dishes. Really good. The seating area looks over the river which is great to see while having breakfast. This resort pretty much leaves you to it, to enjoy your time. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay here if you are looking to escape.

Ketawa Pet Friendly Hotel
Nawarat Chiang Mai | 0.31km from Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
When planning our trip to Chiang Mai, my daughter gave me a shortlist of three places to stay in...I took less than three seconds to plump for this hotel. When we checked in, it was almost midnight, but Jackie the rescue Husky was there to greet us. The room was huge, super comfortable, with every thoughtful (and tasteful) touch added...the room and bathroom spotlessly clean, the latter well-provided with toiletries. We were initially intending to stay three nights and then switch to another place for our remaining two nights. But the next morning we met the rest of Ketawa's doggy family and promptly changed our bookings to stay there right through. With a packed schedule planned for every single day, the fact that breakfast service begins at 7.00 am and offers 6 ”fulfilling” options at a reasonable price was a real blessing. The meal kept us going until late afternoon/evening with just water or juice in between to beat the heat. It also gave us the opportunity to enter the dog-interaction area and cuddle Ketawa's collection of darling pooches, who were just as willing to return our kisses! All in all we had an unforgettable experience with smiling friendly staff, and a wonderfully designed property with a beautiful garden. I would definitely consider returning with a favourite book, simply to enjoy reading in the peace of the garden, the good food and service, and the ever-present company of loving animals.

Celosia Chiang Mai

The hotel room was very basic but clean, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioner worked really well. Breakfast was simply but good- choice of eggs, meat, bread and coffee or juice. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Enjoyed the balcony. Free washing machine and place to dry clothes. Nice outdoor seating by the pool. A small alley to the right of the hotel will quickly take you to a nice supermarket, a few restaurants and just across the bridge are night markets and lots of places to eat and shop. Nice place for the money.

Another excellent stay at this lovely guesthouse, in a quiet area next to the Ping River but close to the night market and lots of lovely places to eat on the river. The couple who run this place are friendly, good and charming people who will make you feel at home. Rooms are ensuite and clean with good internet speed. I have been staying here for several years now and I highly recommend it if you are considering spending some nights in beautiful and serene Chiang Mai.

Rimping Village

The hotel's location is outside the old town, so it's a bit difficult to access, but the facilities are clean and quiet, and although the breakfast doesn't have a lot of variety, it's nice because it's thoughtful.
The room is smaller than expected.
It was especially inconvenient because it was a family suite and had only one bathroom.
The shade of the tree next to the pool was so nice that I felt good every time I had breakfast.
I am satisfied for the price~~

La Seine City Resort, Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai Riverside Chiang Mai | 0.34km from Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
When we checked out, there was a female staff member at the front desk. If we broke a glass, we were very sure it was not us, because we would check if there was anything left in the room before going out every day, so If a glass breaks on the ground, it's impossible not to notice it. The key point is that she insisted that her employees found it when they entered the room before cleaning it. She also asked me if I needed to see the surveillance camera. It was so ridiculous. Where did the surveillance camera come from in the room? It would be even scarier if there was. In short, because we were in a hurry, we didn’t continue to argue. In the end, I paid 250 baht as the staff asked. I paid this purely because I didn’t want to waste time arguing. I think the cleaning staff lied. If it was them They also need to compensate for the broken ones, but the responsibility is passed on to foreign tourists. Generally, foreign tourists will pay because they are too lazy to argue. This incident made me feel very angry and speechless. It is absolutely unreasonable to let the customer take the blame based on the staff's words without any evidence. I do not accept this approach.
The other two male staff were really welcoming and helpful. It's just that my opinion of this hotel dropped a lot because I had to say that we broke the glass.

Hygiene: Very clean. The yard and rooms are very clean and well maintained.
Environment: It's unique and stylish, with a small yard. I like to sit in the yard and read a book. When I get up early, there are birds chirping.
Service: Staff service attitude is very good
The only major drawback is that the breakfast is really not delicious and not suitable for my Chinese stomach. The sound insulation effect is also average. You can hear the coughing and walking sounds upstairs. However, because it is relatively quiet in the alley, we The price I set was 900 per night for two people in a triple room. Because there were no rooms available when I made the reservation, it felt much more expensive than usual.

The hotel was surprisingly clean, well-designed, quiet, neat and tidy given its price. Everything seems to be good as new, even the AC unit. The staff were very friendly.
Coming from Bangkok, this hotel room obviously has great value for its price. Would absolutely recommend it to friends.

Location is great. I checked in very late, after midnight and they still have receptionist to serve my check in. Very quick and easy, no need deposit. I stayed here before, but this time when I entered the room it was quite smelly, perhaps from the toilet side. It has all the amenities you need for the stay. Because it’s location at Ninman, do expect heavy traffic jam getting to there hotel and out from hotel.

This place makes us very much satisfied. Since the service of the staff is very outstanding, the atmosphere of the hotel is very quiet. The location is also convenient when ordering food or walking to buy food outside. Cleanliness inside the accommodation is very clean. Our cat, if he smells another, he will be afraid. But here it is very clean. Our cat has no reaction at all. Plus, it's also dull. 1 Overall, I really like it. Going to Chiang Mai will stay here again.

If there was a hotel name on the front of the building, it would be good to be able to find it easily. The price of over 300 is considered ok. Strong Wi-Fi, but no TV, not like in the picture. How much? I like the check-in and check-out. Convenient, no cost You can put the phone away. Overall, over 310 baht is considered OK.
Snugged in a corner of a residential area is this gorgeous hotel that matches its name - White. Two 4 storey buildings and an open pool area make up this comfortable hotel with big huge rooms! Don't expect too much variety for your breakfast but it is sufficient!
The location of the hotel is relatively near to (within 10 mins walk): 1) Chiang Mai Gate Market, 2) Anusarn Market, 3) Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, and 4) Wau Lai Walking Street by the river of Mae Kha Canal.
You'll have to take time and walk around this area. If you stay around here for more than 3 days, you will find that this area has many little shops and restaurants littered all around that serves fabulous food at very affordable prices! Enjoy your stay! God bless! 😁👍👌✝️❤️
I was always greeted by Jenny on reception with a warm smile. After enjoying Chiang Mai city for 2 weeks i extended my stay and paid a good price for 2 more weeks. The rooms available are fan only or fan and air conditioning. Although there is no fridge in the rooms there is a communal fridge in reception which is always stocked with ample water, soft drinks and beers all at very cheap prices. My large room had a fan, AC, TV, wardrobe, dresser, king size double bed with very clean bedding, which can be changed upon request. The shower area, although a bit outdated, is still quite adequate. Panda House is located on a no through road, there is hardly any traffic outside and it is exceptionally peaceful considering how close it is to the city. I could take a slow walk to Tha Phae Gate in less than 10 minutes. Nearby Tuk Tuks are easy to flag down; or reception will order a private taxi in a matter of minutes. Panda House does offer a food menu, however there are endless bars and restaurants all within walking distance. I stayed for one month and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

The day before we landed I noticed we would be arriving after check in. I messaged on booking.com and I got a reply pretty much straight away with all the information I needed in detail, this was such a relief as it it meant we didn't have to worry about potentially not being able to check In. Staff are so friendly and helpful, they helped us book some excursions and did us a discount. Breakfast was good, they had a big selection of English and Thai food and they even packed us a take away Breakfast one day when we had to leave early. Rooms were clean. Great location to near by attractions. Fully recommend!
