There is free parking, parking is convenient, you can have a large supermarket for three minutes, buy food and daily necessities, and have a place to eat nearby. There is a small kitchen in the room, you can simply cook noodles and the like. The hotel has all the facilities, including swimming pool, gym, laundry room, outdoor barbecue, and beautiful environment. The room is quite big and the two people live comfortably. Warm reception, help us check in in advance, the room is good, the bedding is comfortable, an extra large double bed, suitable for children, breakfast, American cuisine

The DoubleTree has done a very good job overall at modernizing and updating what used to be a Holiday Inn. With Covid-19 making travel more stressful these days, I appreciated the evidence of stringent cleaning procedures and the promotion of social distancing. I would have liked to have seen better enforcement of face coverings in the hotel. While guests generally complied in the lobby area, unfortunately, there were others in the hallways who behaved selfishly to their fellow travelers, one even getting on the elevator without a mask (!). I soon took the stairs to my fourth-floor room. The pluses: Well-appointed rooms with tasteful, modern furnishings, great water pressure, quiet surroundings, and a convenient location near the North Campus and a number of good shopping options. Potential areas for improvement: The A/C unit was a bit noisy at night. The bagged "to go" breakfasts left much to be desired for a Hilton brand. Overall verdict: Despite some boorish behavior by other guests, the DoubleTree offers a good value with nice, clean and modern surroundings and professional, friendly and hardworking employees.

The hotel room is simple and clean, the front desk is small and friendly, the breakfast is very simple, only small cakes, bagels, coffee, milk and yogurt, cereals, fruits, oranges, bananas, apples. The location of the hotel is relatively close to the North Campus, and it can take the 23, 65 roads and the parking lot is quite large. There is a supermarket nearby that is quite full and can be reached in about 2 minutes on foot.

Went to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a little two night getaway during the Summer Music Festival. Stayed at Ann Arbor Bed & Breakfast Inn at 921 E Huron Street. What a treat. Very ecletic. Place is filled with memorabilia and antiques including many, many antique toys. We stayed in the Jamboree suite which included a small, but full kitchenette and its own private patio with lot of flowers and greenery and chipmunks scurrying around. The second floor balcony/porch off the breakfast room was absolutely lovely, again with lots of flowers and plants plus lots of colourful wind spinners, wind socks and metal sculptures and twinkling coloured lights in the evening hours. The staff were super, and very accommodating. Breakfast was great – juice, coffee and tea, homemade goodies, cereal, several types of bread for toasting, variety of jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, etc, plus eggs and bacon if requested. Best homemade banana bread I have ever eaten. B & B location was perfect – close to the University of Michigan, the Arboretum with lots of walking trails, and the downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. One of the outdoor music venues was just a two minute walk from the B & B front door. We walked everywhere and didn’t drive our vehicle once during our stay. All in all, a great mini-vacation.

Most of the children who go to Ann Arbor are reading or visiting children. This hotel is very close to the campus. The typical American-style room is small but clean and tidy. There is no toothpaste and toothbrush in the room just after check-in, but you can find it at the front desk. There are no slippers, and the service staff is very nice. Remember to put tips every day. This time I checked in twice, both are on the 14th floor. Once facing the campus, the campus has a panoramic view, and once facing the back, Wudi green flutters to the face, very eye-catching. Crossing the road is the main street, and you can buy everything you can eat and drink. There is also a Chinese restaurant not far away. The hotel bed is tall and big. There is no problem to live with a small child. Older children ca n’t do it. I have n’t had breakfast in the hotel. There is a small bar below the hotel. There are more Americans. There are outdoor tables and chairs outside the hotel. There is also a small fountain, basically you will be greeted by foreigners when you come in and out, anyway!

This Comfort Inn is a pleasant surprise to those who equate the brand with a barely acceptable lodging night. Everything is functioning and all expected amenities are there. The rooms are sizable and clean and reasonably quiet. Breakfast is fine but the room is really crowded. wi-fi and exercise room fully satisfactory. The front desk staff is accommodating and the price makes this hotel a bargain. It is not within walking distance of the U of M although an Uber ride is only about $8. Right off I-94 and across the road from a mall, although other than a Burger King, there is no restaurant within walking distance. My only complaint is with the housekeeping which failed to replace anything except towels, requiring trips to the front desk. All in all, this is a good mid-priced hotel; book with confidence.

The front desk staff were very nice. I LOVE the fact that they provide magnets to place on your door letting it be known that there is a pet in your room. If an emergency were to take place, they could get the pets out. Housekeeping needs some works. The back of the chair that was sitting at the kitchen table had dust caked on. The kitchen rooms need trash cans in the kitchen. How is someone suppose to cook and dispose of items without a trash can? Everything else was just average and could use some updating. During our stay we really only booked because of the kitchen since we needed to prepare food. It served its purpose.

My sister had ended up getting a 2 bedroom suite for her essential job. The suite we were given room 229 had multiple issues. The power kept going out every time we plugged something up. The TV in the double bed room cable did not work. They did not try to fix these issues, they simply said not to plug things up and how to flick the breaker box. That was it. The ice machine did not work. When we requested extra pillows they simply set them on the floor (no bag, no case, no anything). Then on our last night the racist clerk, Matt accused us of being loud and disorderly. He called the room first. At this point our kids were up so we assumed it was them walking. So once we put our kids to sleep he had came up to our room rude as ever saying that he was the assistant GM and that he would call the police and we needed to leave. This was our SECOND noise complaint. We said we would calm down and to have the GM call us because we didn't want to further argue with him. It was 2am and our kids were sleep. He sat at the door while we talked calming amongst ourselves about how rude he was. He then knocked on the door and said "I've been standing right here listening to you all and you guys need to leave now". He called the police on us due to his feelings being hurt about us talking about him in OUR room quietly that we paid over $400 for. He called the police and had them escort us and our children (from the age of 1) off the property. Just for him to realize the next day (because the complaints never stopped) that it was a totally different room (room 117). Once the GM was notified about this mistake he did not take any action to fix it. Instead he accused my friend of not really being an essential worker and stated that our intentions were to drink with children in our room and that we would not be being refunded or allowed back to the property (as if we would return). Noah, Tempest, Matt and the rest of upper management were very unprofessional. Luckily she was able to dispute it with her bank. But I would never in my life recommend this hotel to any person of color. They are lazy and only worried about revenue instead of the guests.

After having a disaster stay at another Holiday Inn the manager took our large group in for a two-night stay. When our group arrived the manager greeted us and made the check-in process quick and pleasant. Since the hotel was only open 10 days he was able to place us all on the same floor. The staff at the hotel was also very pleasant and helpful. Our group included a bunch of kids and the staff worked with us to find a space for us to meet up together since we did not have time prior to arrival to make such arrangements. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the pool was not open yet because it was waiting on inspection and the room I stayed in had peeling paint on the shower ceiling along with a few other cosmetic issues. Although the cosmetic issues did not affect the room it seems since they just finished renovations somethings were missed. The breakfast had a good selection.

Great stay at Courtyard. Check in was fast and served with a smile. Complimentary water at check in. Lobby is clean and modern design- cafe/bar. There is a sheltered courtyard in the middle of the hotel with lots of trees and seating. Beside that is a decent size poo and an good size exercise room. Lots of towels at the pool. Only negative is the elevator is at the back of the hotel - didn't notice a back entrance. Rooms are average size. Beside the entrance is a sink/mirror and the toilet/bath are in a separate room. Towels were good quality. Bath/shower had pump shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of travel size. Sink and shower had instant hot water. Shower pressure was good. No pooling of water in tub. Exhaust fan was strong - no steaming up like other places. Room was clean and well maintained. We had 2 double beds (small doubles) - beds/pillows were comfortable. I ordered extra towels on the app and they were there in the room when we arrived - excellent service. TV had standard channels and several apps including Netflix - about a 42" tv. Lighting was good in the room. Lots of desk space to work. Single chair with ottoman. Heating/AC unit was one that sits under the window - so it was a little noisy. Would definitely stay here again. Wendy's is a 2 min walk away. There is a whole cluster of hotels in the area. About a 10 min walk to Briarwood Mall. Short drive to Michigan Stadium and downtown.

We always stay at another hotel every time we are in Ann Arbor, which is rated higher than this hotel on Tripadvisor. It was full this time, so we had to search for a new place to stay. We were thrilled with this Hilton. We found it very comparable to our usual hotel, but we experienced a friendlier staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. Willie, my husband swears his name is Lou, was truly amazing. A man of many hats, he welcomed us, found us a very quiet room and made a wonderful breakfast the next morning. He is Mr. Personality! The rooms were clean and comfortable. This is our new go-to-hotel whenever we are in Ann Arbor. Keep up the good work! P.S. Note that the hotel swimming pool is closed due to the Covid Virus.

It was our first stay at a Red Roof Inn & based on reviews we were wary. However, although the outdoor stairways were crumbly & it was a basic-looking older motel with exterior room entries, our room had been updated and was more than satisfactory. The fridge, microwave, TV, clock/radio (not always supplied in budget motels anymore,) hairdryer, coffeemaker (excellent & enough regular coffee supplied,) sink and tub drains all worked beautifully. King bed was very comfortable & even the in-wall HVAC unit operated quietly. Best of all, for a person who reads in bed, I so appreciated the over-the-bed lighting. I hate having to hold my book under a bedside table lamp that is never tall enough or bright enough to shed enough light in the right place! There were a lot of added electrical outlets for electronics. We had a little trouble getting the key card to work on the entry door, but when I mentioned to to the clerk upon check-out she was effusive in her thanks for letting her know because she knew to notify maintenance that the battery in the lock had to be replaced--who knew? Public areas were clean & updated & although the continental breakfast was limited, it was certainly adequate for our brief stay. USA Today newspapers were available & appreciated. We visit relatives in the area a few times a year & will be happy to return to this Red Roof Inn.

The Swiss Hotel Chicago was booked mainly for the marathon, and this time it was the right choice. I have to say that it is true that Ctrip is free to go abroad and it is really easy to use. I bought air tickets, booked accommodation, and Ctrip made it all. In the United States for so many days, I stayed at the Swiss Hotel in Chicago for the longest time. The Chicago River was just a few steps away, and I took a few steps to the shore of Lake Michigan. It was a runner's paradise. A large number of cruise ships parked in the port. Swim in turquoise lakes in a team. In the distance are the planetarium and the Field Museum, if you don't hurry, you can walk over to visit. The world is beautiful and beautiful.
