This is a small hotel on a quiet street not too far from Old Town. It is an easy walk to Old Town and there is good access to public transportation - there is a metro stop close and tram service on the main road. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Far more space than you usually get in a European capital city hotel! A very comfortable bed. It was hot while we were there but the air conditioning worked well. All the staff were very pleasant, but a special shout out to Paul, who made good wine recommendations and was a pleasure to talk to. The breakfast buffet is very good with choices to suit all. We did try dinner in the restaurant one night and I have to say we did get better food elsewhere, however it was not bad and nice to have the option to eat at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful city and everything so near in the city centre. Wencesclaus Square Old town Charles Bridge Mala Strana one after the other. So relaxed and no crossing streets as it is pedestrianised all the way and so different and historic. Brixen Hotel was fabulous and lovely breakfast each of our 3 days. Will definitely return to Prague again. We were there between the 4th and 7th December.

Beautiful hotel with generous size rooms and a massive bed. We had a room on the 7 floor at the rear of the hotel, and it was quiet, spacious and it has a balcony. The staff are very nice and helpful, breakfast consist of a great selection of hot and cold food for all nationalities and is available from 7am. The only issue we had was we lost water pressure in the morning, but I put this down to being located on the top floor and other guests using the showers at the same time, just shower or have a bath in the evening. The hotel is located just outside the centre, but the metro and tram stop is located 1min up the road. I would recommend this hotel if you are thinking of staying in Prague. I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for our stay and keep up the good work that you do.

The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet. It has a bar, restaurant and room service. I can recommend the breakfast, it is deluxe of the variations of food. Staff are friendly and helpful, and accommodating. The room is a standard modern hotel room, but offers a table with chairs. We had twin beds as friends traveling, but I slept so comfortable. The room was nice and warm. The bathroom offers complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, as well as shower cap, shoe polish, and cotton buds. The towels are thick but standard. No facial cloths. It has a safe for your travel documents and valuables. Wifi is available. Remember (mainland) European charger for the plugs. The hotel is in walking distance to the city centre, so we only paid an Uber to go to the castle grounds, but really you can walk to that too. There is so many things to do in Prague, but we stayed a long weekend and it was ok, but we would like to return someday, and in particular to stay at this fab hotel! The hotel was mainly young couples but I guess it was due to Valentines. I did notice a few people who appeared to be on their own for business, so you can indeed go solo. I would like to give the staff and hotel my best recommendations.

This hotel is located on the edge of Prague's Old Town. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Prague Square, which is a long way. Uber is recommended (Uber in Czech is very convenient and cheap). The hotel facilities are a bit old and had to be renovated about 5-8 years ago. The lobby downstairs is very bright, the afternoon tea in the lobby bar is delicious, and there is a small casino on the ground floor (Prague has many such small casinos, this is considered regular). There is a small shopping mall downstairs and a supermarket inside (not 24 hours, it closes at about 20:00)

Good breakfast, big beds, extra beds need to be booked in advance, suitable for children, the hotel is ideally located next to the bus station, did not notice the nearby parking lot

Ok, a confession. I lived in Prague for a decade and for the last 5 years of my time there I walked past Hotel Florenc on my way to my favourite pub (it's two doors down). That proximity may have played a part in my choice of hotel for my recent trip back to Prague. Everything about staying at Hotel Florenc was perfect, the staff were superbly friendly and helpful, the room was clean, had everything I needed, and breakfast each morning was easy and tasty. Knowing Prague as well as I do, the location was ideal, close to metro, trams, and buses, as well as being within easy walking distance of the touristy bit of the city. Next time I go to the city,Hotel Florenc will be my first choice for accommodation, for more reasons than just proximity to my favourite drinking den.

The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The location and the breakfast are very good. On Thursday sept 17/2020 I had the check out in the morning. While I was working from the reception, I wanted to ask some question to the receptionist like sauna, spa, and other services in order to get some relax. Unfortunately, the receptionist (a blond girl) was extremely rude to me, she was making feel me uncomfortable and she seemed to be not happy to provide me any information. Such a pity cause during the check-in I had a good front desk welcome.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of fresh towels and clean bedding. Could do with more coat hangers in the wardrobes though. The morning after we arrived we went for breakfast. We sat for 45 minutes before anyone took our order, didn't even have a drink. When I asked if we could be served, all I got was "I'm coming" however he had served 3 other tables that came in after us. After over an hour we finally received our breakfast, which was edible, but not very nice. However the service was so bad that we didn't eat there again for the rest of our trip and we had to pay elsewhere for breakfast. The lady on reception was very surly and quite rude, she made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. We asked about tickets to Prague castle, as it said in the brochure in our room that they offered discounts. She was very rude when telling us they "don't do tickets". The location was fantastic, very close to the metro; but the staff and breakfast were enough to put us off coming again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

I read numerous bad reviews on this hotel thankfully they were all wrong. I was woken by the glass collection pick up but it only took a minute and I went straight back to sleep. The food was excellent value and was very tasty. The shower that had so many bad reviews was a traditional cheq shower it is just a shower head in a bath tub .you are within walking distance of the old square I would recommend flat shoes as the streets are cobbled. The number 14 tram will also get you there you can buy tickets from reception. Always get reception to get you a taxi it's cheaper. The only downside is that there are no tea making facilities in the room

The best part about staying at A Plus Hotel was the complimentary breakfast, if you wake up in time for it (10pm). I had a mixed 4 person dorm room and at one point had a room with me (female) and three other men which was a little intimidating and scary for me but never became an issue and they seemed nice enough. However, the room next door was rowdy and always left the front door open and tried chatting up girls walking out their rooms at times. I got approached once by a guy from my home country but I knew his game so ignored him. They had lockers which I had to pay a small deposit for which they refund for you at the end of your stay. Toilets are shared so can be pretty grim at times and expect graffiti in them. I asked to rent a towel out one night but they didn’t have any so had to use the toilet tissues to dry myself... There are two shower rooms, one male and one female. I’d recommend bringing some flip flops or crocs to wear in the showers. The chances of getting a verruca are likely high here. This hostel is close to the city center which I loved. Generally speaking it was an experience staying here and overall did enjoy my stay.

Old Town
Unexpected surprise, recommended to friends traveling by train. The hotel is about 600 meters from Prague Railway Station and is very easy to find. The stylish and stylish facilities are very good and the service is great. The welcome drink will be given when checking in, and then the waiter will take the room and introduce the hotel layout. After the check-in, there is a small biscuit chocolate, and the room has a free bottle of pure water and a water boiler. The bed is slightly hard but the individual feels ok and the sound is good. There are not many types of breakfast, but the taste is also fine, but it tastes good, especially coffee. The best is the complete range of toiletries, including disposable slippers and dental appliances that are almost non-existent in European hotels. The bathroom products are NATURA BISSE, which is very good.

I'm not going to lie a big reason I stayed here was because of the amazing name but it's much more than a name this is feels like a hotel but with the prices of a hostel. I stayed here for a week in a 8 bed dorm for an amazing price. The beds were comfy with sockets and a light beside each one, the room was clean and comfy and the bathroom/showers area was top notch. It is over 7 floors with all types of rooms. There is an attached cafe and bar as well. There is also a small kitchen but I do emphasise the word small, I wouldn't bank on making any big meals. 1 thing to note is the WiFi. It is very quick but in the room (and also kitchen weirdly) however in the reception comfy seating area it's really terrible and barely works. I find it so baffling why they don't just add an extra router for reception only. Aside from that a great place to stay as for once comfort really doesn't have to come for a price.

Nové Město
Don't think about it if it's not much different from the nearby Novotel price. No boiling water, unique to Novotel. The room is small and Novotel is large, but there are few Chinese here and it is more comfortable. Breakfast is western style, look at yourself. The towels are very old, don't use them, but the beds are acceptable. Was my quilt cleaned at the time and asked to change it? Nearby transportation is not convenient, and subways and buses are only available within ten minutes. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the train station, but the farthest point to the attractions is 40 minutes away, and the main attractions are less than 30 minutes. There is paid parking. There is a Vietnamese restaurant across the road. I will definitely not choose this next time.

We have been there 4 nights on a family trip. The location was great just 20 meters from the tram station and you can go anywhere by tram. the staff were polite and helpful, we asked about how we can get to the hotel from the airport and they help us. Also, they helped about sightseeing in Prague. Furthermore, you can buy a public transportation ticket from the reception. The service was good, the hotel environment was very clean and breakfast was rich. I have a good memory from this hotel and I like to repeat this hotel again. I think it was the best between 3star hotels in the Prague. The only problem was that some renewal is required for the rooms.

Lesser Town
My first visit to Prague. When we arrived we were a little sceptical the hotel would live up to the photos, but from the moment we entered we were blown away - so grand! Every room I glimpsed was gorgeous (am nosy). My room was warm and very clean, the older furniture reflected the style of the city and was very grand. Tea and coffee in room and a lovely big comfy bed. The bathroom was modern, fab shower and cleaned every day with fresh towels. The reception staff were great, always a manned desk and always friendly and helpful (my friends asked to change room because of some night-time noise (I didn't hear it) and they were given a new one immediately - the staff moved their things for them. The breakfast was good, loads of choice and all freshly prepared. Thank you Charles Hotel staff, especially Samir on reception who sorted my lighting out.

This is a large hotel with a shopping centre attached and the metro line is underneath. This came in really handy when going to the city centre to explore. The rooms are nice and modern and comfortable. There were major problems with reception, two tour buses came at the same time late in the evening and nothing was ready. The room cards still had to be done so there were over 80 people waiting in reception for 20 minutes waiting. Considering large groups are pre-booked and the tour director calls ahead for confirmation this should have all been done before anyone arrived. The good thing was that there are many lifts so people were able to get to their rooms without having to wait too long at the lift. The buffet breakfast is poorly planned, given the large size of the hotel. Everything is placed in strange sections and areas. Some things are doubled up. The pancakes are hidden in the far corner where no one can really see them.
