This hotel has a friendly staff, although the overnight clerk seemed to be doing me a favor when I asked for something. Our room was comfortable and clean but it needed maintenance. The entry door was out of true (Room 206) and the security bar was loose due to a missing screw and bad wood on the trim. The tub needed snaking and the diverter (Hot/cold) was not fully functional. We reported to the desk at checkout. Did not care for the grab-and-go breakfast plus no decaf coffee in the lobby. Other locations in Florida have packaged serials and other options.

We arrived late as we were traveling back home. Nikki was at the service desk, she was EXTREMELY KIND. I could not have asked for better service she even had recommendations for food, drinks and a MAP! This young lady is on point! Everything was wonderful, breakfast the following morning was delightful as well! Thank Amelia Island Hampton Inn! We will be back!
