The quirky hotel is unique in style and just oozes Estonian charm ... room was off an outdoor courtyard which in the summer months I bet is lovely ... it was huge !! Well equipped with mini bar tv coffee machine hairdryer WiFi Elemis products in the bathroom .. robes and slippers . Room was lovely and warm after cold days wandering the town . Room was very clean and bed comfortable . Staff were super friendly and effecient and helpful ... Jonathon the general manager gave us so many great tips for things to see not mentioned in the guide book which were great and made our visit . Small shop in the foyer with great local gifts . Lovely bar for a night cap or a hot toddy after a cold day out ... and breakfast is served down in the beautiful cellar with great choice . The apartment is located between two souvenir shops. The apartment we had was number 8 at the top of the building. It was perfect for our three day stay although the stairs would possibly become a chore after a week! The apartment was clean and had all of the amenities one would need, microwave, cooker, fridge and washer dryer. All located in a superb top floor, tastefully furnished, wooden beamed building. The bathroom had a heated floor which was a bonus in winter. The main sleeping area was up stairs - watch out for the angle of the roof when waking up and getting up out of bed. In summer the room had use of a balcony overlooking a small courtyard. The check in was simple at the nearby Vana Posti 7 Tallinn Apartments office where luggage could be kept in a locked room upon arrival or departure while awaiting room keys. The service there was excellent. There were instructions for retrieving room keys from secure boxes just inside the apartment block secure doors.

The hotel is located in the old city. Checkin’s front desk was kind and informed a lot of information. The staff at the concierge told us repeatedly that if we need to carry luggage, we must tell him, and he will help us carry it down. The overall service is very professional! If any friends go to Tallinn, they will definitely recommend staying at his home!

I liked the hotel, very convenient location, 1 minute from the Town Hall Square. There are nuances, but for this price you should not pay attention. The staff is nice. The check-in was written on the site from 7 in the morning, we arrived at 7 and we checked in, although it seemed like they had hinted at 14.00, but I was looking for a hotel with early check-in, where the reservation indicated that we would arrive early. We rented a day, but it even turned out to have breakfast 2 times, with no questions and no extra charge. Probably the only minus that I want to emphasize when leaving, we were asked if you used a bar, that is, a refrigerator where there was water, you had to pay for water. Not where it was not written about it. We will return to this hotel with pleasure, because we liked its cleanliness, location and of course the price

Out of service, I feel the service that the five-star hotel should have. The room said that it was upgraded for us, but in the room directly above the front door of the hotel, facing the opposite school, I feel that it is better to face the garden. Hotel breakfast is awesome, it is a single point plus self-service form, persuading the appetite is small and less, otherwise it can't be eaten, the self-service bread cake is super delicious, because I can't finish the time and pack it away. The hotel also has a private sauna, you can experience it and make an appointment in advance at the front desk. It took about 5 to 6 Euros to take a taxi from the terminal, and it will arrive in 10 minutes. The hotel is out of the old city center, and it is enough to stay in the old town for one night.

We had a two bedroom apartment that was perfect for our needs, plenty of space, well decorated and ideal for our winter stay. Whilst it is true the apartment are close to the town its probably best to say that the town is down some steep steps and in winter can be a little icy and whenever you head down the steps into town it means you must head back up them to get home. This actually did lead to us changing our plans one evening. There were no issues getting the keys or leaving them. The apartment was clean and well looked after

When we asked about a transfer from the train station we were told Cru Hotel didn't do them because it's so close - we could walk. It might be OK for somebody with only 10kg of luggage (it's about 1km as the crow flies) but we were a party of three with a lot of luggage and it was raining; we had to get taxis to the pedestrianised street, then walk 50m to the door. Booking.com says they do hotel transfers - obviously this should be changed. On the flip-side, we were there for a long weekend and the central location was great for walking the old city, visiting art galleries etc. We ate at the pretty upmarket Cru restaurant first night - it was modern "gastronomic" menu. I was more pleased with my meal than the others. Prices for food and wine were moderate for northern Europe. We ate elsewhere the other 2 nights. My husband and I were upgraded to a suite at the top of the (historic) building, which meant going up 3 STEEP staircases. The hotel provided help with the luggage going up, but not when we checked out. Our friend's bag was damaged being pulled upstairs by the staff. Without doubt the rooms had character but our friend's room was a single and small. She couldn't sit up straight in bed because of ceiling beams over the bed. She asked to be moved. Our suite was spacious but there was an intermittent sewerage smell during our stay - and it wasn't coming from OUR bathroom. Our suite looked on to the street and we did get reveller noise on the first night. We also got noise/vibration from a nearby room - we think it was the hotel laundry. The breakfast was very good - served in the restaurant - and staff generally friendly. It's a reasonable moderately-priced mid-range option; maybe I'd stay again.

We took the luxexpress bus from Riga Central Station and went straight to Tallinn in four hours. After arriving at Tallinn Central Station, transfer directly to Route 17, follow the Google navigation instructions, and get off at the station. (The fare is very expensive) Then walk about 7 or 8 minutes. Said to be apartment, but in fact there is a front desk, in a semi-basement, the signboard of the apartment name is hung at the door. The reception is very welcoming, including an umbrella, you can receive it. Only one point, some depressed, is that the front desk said that our family of three, but only one big bed, whether you need to add a bed, 15 euros a night. We want to add it. As a result, when I went upstairs, I laid a mattress on the three-seat sofa and put a quilt and a pillow. In fact, these things are in the closet! Oh, but I have to say that this room is too shocking and super satisfied. The living room is super large, the kitchen is super large, the fireplace is super large, the two bathrooms are separated by wet and dry, and even the sauna (although we are useless). It can be said that this is the most satisfying apartment I have ever lived. It is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel to the central square of the Old Town and all the sights are very close. It is from the hotel to the dock to take the boat, the old stone road, let us drag the box is very difficult. In short, this apartment completely satisfied us, absolutely praise!

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment 12 at Harju 1 from New Year's eve for 6 nights, and can highly recommend it and Tallinn City Apartments. The reason for an apartment was that hotels get a bit same-same after while and a nice apartment with cooking and laundry facilities is a great way to break up a trip. If you consider this apartment, it's on the third floor (or level 4 in Estonia terms) but we didn't see this as a problem as it's good to get a bit of a stair workout each day - it's easy to get in and out and the elevated views were fantastic. The location was perfect for us and easy to get to from the tram (no. 4 from the airport to Viru). It's close to the old town square and an easy walk to areas of Tallinn outside the old town. The apartment was well presented, clean, and everything worked well. It had great views over park around St Nicholas' church and was close to everything in the tourist precinct. One minor quibble was the kids of the people in the apartment above - running around and jumping until midnight got a bit wearing after a while but that's the chance you take with short-stay apartments and not something TCA could have known. Tallinn City Apartments were fantastic. We got there early and they looked after our luggage until the apartment was cleaned an rang us when it was ready. The instructions for the key drop were great so checking out was a breeze. We'd definitely use TCA again when back in Tallinn and recommend them.

There are many types of breakfast salads, which are suitable for Chinese tastes, but coffee is not enough. There is only one mode, and the juice is over water. In short, don't expect too much, there is no problem to eat. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the shopping center and 7 minutes walk to the old city. The pier number is 12 minutes.

Hi I stayed here during a 4 day work session in Tallinn. Overall this hotel is good despite the somewhat dated interior, which should really be renovated. This is really my only criticism. Everything else seems fine. Parking is ample around the back of the hotel, although you need to take a small side street to get to it, the street is "Kuremarja" and leads to the main parking place which is free. There didn't appear to be any disabled ramps at the rear... Check in was very simple and like most places they accept card payments, also if you were like me and forgot your travel adpater for GB plug to EU socket, then they carry them and you can borrow one. There are two lifts which go to the rooms, which seem clean and safe. The room itself like I say, seems dated, but I managed to get a good comfortable sleep. There were some light fittings which seemed to have dodgy wiring, but again, its seeing its age. Bathroom was clean and functional and it too really could use some renovation. There was no bath, only a shower. Internet up at the 6th floor was patchy, luckily I had a signal booster so I could get a better signal on the laptop, the speed was acceptable. Dinner was probably the best feature of the hotel, there was a nice buffet service for only 16 euro and had a selection of cooked meats and salads and desert. I would certainly stay here again.

First: how was it build. A website said something about extra soundproofing, but we heard all that was happened on the next floor. That is waking you up in the night. There is no heating isolation in the sauna. All walls becoming extremely hot. After a few hours, you can feel that the walls in the room are hot too. That will damage a TV in the future. For example, it will blow because it is mounted on a sauna wall. The corners near the sauna entrance with a scorching surface decorated with metal. It was painful. For my pregnant woman as well. There is a sign "pull" on a shower door. It does not work because the handle on a glass door is not comfortable and very slippery. It would help if you opened a shower door using the upper edge of the door. And that is extremely hot as well. Ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work as it should be working. Room condition can't guarantee it as well. The temperature was all the time 26C and higher. By the way, if you open the window - the condition still works. Your sign about "it will stop" working is not true. It looks that construction specialists made some mistakes like dimmer on a lamp near the TV (don't work). Second: client service. There is a menu with the cafe slogan "get full without leaving the room." That means NOT LEAVING THE ROOM. Lazy and pointless staff should learn how to work. When you order - they confirm that food will be delivered to a room. When it is ready, they call you and say that it is impossible to deliver it to your room. When you are coming down directly from the sauna, they said that it is impossible to pay later on checkout, and you are going back to your room for your credit card. Client service doesn't know what they offer - they got stuck in 3 types of beer. The solution was straightforward: the next day, we start eating food from the nearest grocery store. Breakfast was not even close to the Ibis experience in other countries. We understand that it is not allowed to organize a classical breakfast at the moment. But it is not good to order the cheapest trash by courier. Cheap hostels offered better food in Germany... And the food was not identical. Food is left nearby your door, and it was cold: both of the mornings. COFFEE TOO. Fortunately, we had a sauna. We used that as a giant oven. Towels amount is smaller than the number of clients in the room. Third: positive moments Great design, good location, clean space, perfect hotel chain, one of my favorite. Fast WiFi, free coffee and tea in the lobby. I love Ibis, especially Ibis Styles in Warshaw. There are miracles, and they may be killed by Estonian client service. Still bad in a time when hotels and tourism so need clients. I see you are answering here for a people with some standard blah-blah-blah. You don't need to write it. Just fire your staff and hire the new one and train it.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a tour! The hotel is on the outskirts of Tallinn in an area that is largely industrial, it is a little remote but there is a small retail park with a Coop supermarket about 10min walk away and a St George’s monument across the road from the hotel. The hotel itself is bright and appears to have recently been extended and modernised! We were in room 506 and there is a glass lift running to all floors but can be a bit slow! It is worth noting that the doors open outwards at this hotel! The room was bright and modern and had air conditioning although the actual unit was badly placed as rather than blowing cold air into the room it was placed in the little corridor between the main room and the door, sadly this rendered the air conditioning rather ineffective! The beds were very comfortable and there was a fridge there that was very welcome! The only gripe with the room was the glasses provided were filthy and could not be used! The bathroom had a shower but nowhere to put anything besides a wonky soap dish that things fell out of and the floor! The restaurant was on the ground floor and the food was of good quality for all our meals, the breakfast was a buffet style breakfast with a somewhat interesting selection of food but pleasant none the less! The staff were mostly pleasant and friendly, there was one waitress who refused to smile or acknowledge you! This was a nice hotel and although some way out of Tallinn there are bus stops outside the hotel! Would stay here again!
