Bathroom was very good with big spa bathtub. Everything is working well, air conditioning, shower, bathtub… only small point is there is no fridge in the room but the owner was keeping our stuff in the kitchen fridge. It’s said that there is a swimming pool, but not in the property. This can be arranged by the owner to have a splash in another place. Super close to quiet entrance of south east entrance of the park where we could also do Covid test… 300 meters. The owner was carrying us where we wanted to go for a fee. DiDi is not super easy to get there. Restaurant next to thé hôtel was very tasty. Just don’t expect anyone to speak English around, but with Wexin, all problems get smoother with translation… The landscape in front of the hotel is very nice and you can walk on pavement between rice, corn, pepper, eggplants…super relaxing for city people Thus hostel is what you need to relax in quiet place and very very access to wonderful Zhangjiajie National park.

Thoughtful, clean and excellent location: we visited during winter and when we arrived at 6 the night, the lovely owner lady had already heated the room in advance for us. We were even upgraded to a larger room due to it being quiet season. The rooms are neat and clean, has a kettle and water is restocked every day. The best part of this place is it's location. A leisurely walk of about 15 minutes to the east entrance of the national forest park. If you catch a Didi from there it's about 57 minutes to Tianmen Mountain. And the Charming Xiangxi Grand Theater (a MUST see) is around the corner and up the road, barely a 10 minute walk. All in all a fantastic place to stay with a very friendly, helpful and kind host. 🩷

There are also many eateries within the vicinity of the inn. True to the description, the inn is a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (east gate). Amenities provided in the room are true to the description. An additional surprise is the bed heating function. It made the bed extra cozy during the cold months. Cons: The inn does not have a lift, so it might not be suitable for those with mobility problems. While there’s a washing machine, there is no dryer (there is a clothes drying region to air dry your clothes).
