Prior to arriving at this beautiful hotel I spoke with the manager Travis, without hesitation he agreed to hold my son’s packages for his dorm until we arrived. The hotel is GORGEOUS. All the staff is friendly and appears to love working there. Travis thank you so much for taking care of my family and all the other gator families at the hotel. Because of your generosity and dedication to us we will be staying here the next 4 years. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a hotel stay like this in years. Kudos Fairfield. Lisa Gold

We stayed here 4 days. This is substandard compared to others in the area. Housecleaning only comes by every FIVE days, so trash piles up if you don’t take it out yourself. Pillows were completely flat, the soap scum in the tub was so thick I could write my name in it, and there was mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. When we checked out we checked under the bed to make sure we hadn’t left anything and found a pair of socks and a solo cup that clearly didn’t belong to us. The fridge was leaky unless it was cranked all the way to freezing max, and finally, found a drop of blood on the boxspring (as part of that checkout look). Blech. All this coupled with no breakfast and honestly not cheap, I will not stay here again. Pros: front desk staff are very nice. There are better options!!!

The hotel is very nice and my family and I are very satisfied. First of all, the hotel is clean and tidy, the facilities are good, there is a swimming pool, the courtyard outside our window has a table tennis table, and the rackets are also equipped. Secondly, the life around the hotel is very convenient, next to it is McDonald's, there are large supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, clothing stores, etc. Third, the hotel service is particularly good, there is unlimited bottled water, biscuits, free pick-up, and we If you want to go anywhere, the hotel will arrange shuttle buses as much as possible. It is really convenient to bring home here!

We learned about Drury Inns from a customer of ours. She raved and raved so we had to give it a try. We had a trip planned and needed a half-way point to stay at. Location was right off of I75 so very convenient. The lobby was immaculate and the front desk people were super nice and helpful. We got there right when the dinner/happy hour was starting and were very pleased with that as well! Lots of great choices at breakfast too! The room we stayed in was immaculate and the beds were super comfy. Tried to book a room for another trip yesterday but, sadly, they were full and we had to stay at another place.

This hotel has two amazing employees, the first is Shirley who is the breakfast attendant and is the warmest caring person you could possibly want in that position and she cooks an awesome breakfast. The other is Manuel at the front desk who is the most genuine employee I have ever met at a Marriott property. It was truly a pleasure dealing with these two amazing people this past weekend.

I wish I had read some of the recent reviews of this hotel before I had checked in. True, this hotel is under construction and I understand that and have no issue with it. It's the way the hotel is presented on both the Marriott and the Trip Advisor website versus the reality of the dank, dark and musty rooms and the poor customer service that's so disappointing. You can fix the rooms with renovation, but you can't fix attitude with one. When getting to the front desk, no greeting, no smile, just ”last name”? Handed me my key and that was that. As a Lifetime Titanium Elite, I would have at least expected how I would like my bonus points to be be used. Not the end of the world. I asked directions to my room and she pointed and said without looking up, ”Down that hall”. Nothing else was offered or said. Again, not the end of the world, but then when you go to your room and it's so terribly dated with an odor, it all adds up. This place has a long.long way to go to measure up to the standard I've become used to in the majority of Marriott properties. And now that I have read the recent reviews of this property, before the GM responds with the sorry for the issues but the renovation will solve the problem, I'm noy buying it.

It’s by no means fancy/high end. It’s basic. You’re definitely not walking in and being wowed. It’s outdated to be honest. We were literally only there to sleep. It was for 10 nights though. We’ve never stayed at a hotel that long. A larger/more updated/ suite would’ve been a better fit. Our first room was on the second floor. It was not clean. At all. The toilet wasn’t even attached to the floor; there was urine on it too. The entire second floor stunk. There is one old washing machine and one old dryer up there. Not sure how much but not free. The front desk promptly moved us to the first floor. Very apologetic. This room was very clean. Not noisy despite being busy. The counter in the bathroom was very big. Every employee at this hotel was so nice. Especially Stephanie and Alice at the front desk. I would stay again; not for an extended time though.

My two teens and I stayed at the Super 8 for a weekend in March 2022. Our room was updated and clean. We especially appreciated the nice laminate flooring, as there's nothing grosser than old hotel carpet. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. There were no noises or smells in our room. The bathroom has been renovated and sparkled with bright new tile and fixtures. The only suggestion I would make is to switch the water pressures of the sink and the shower. Low pressure in the shower was challenging, whereas I nearly blasted myself through the wall when I turned on the sink. Minor annoyances at most. The kids swam in the pool, which was clean during our stay. I can't comment on the complimentary breakfast because we did not partake. The location is perfect... you are an average of five minutes from dozens of restaurants and stores and right next to I-75. All in all, it was worth the bargain price.

Mr. Leon Ford and Paula honestly were amazing. We booked our stay on Expedia and had accidentally put our stay for the wrong date. After staying on the phone with Expedia for over an hour, we had come to the lobby for help. They immediately were on the phone helping us. We were able to get our room for the night. They were so awesome and eager to help. This is by far the best staff I’ve come into with red roof and will be booking again with them as we come to this area every couple of weeks. Our check out experience was lovely and easy. Leon was super helpful and really all around an awesome person. I hope these 2 are recognized for their outstanding jobs and personality’s. Great job as a manager, in my opinion having staff like this makes the experience a great one! THANK YOU!

This is a very clean, safe, and friendly hotel. We were on our way to Florida and needed a place to stay for a night. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they took time to help two elderly ladies with the waffle iron and juice machine, not the typical attitude for hotel desk staff, very refreshing. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and clean. There is a Walgreens right next door in case you need anything and only 5 minutes from I-75 north and south bound. We would recommend.

Worst experience ever. When we arrived we could already tell we were in for a treat. There were people standing around outside smoking all over the place. When I went into the lobby to sign in the lobby tv was extremely loud so the desk staff could sit and watch tv. We checked in with no problems. The trash cans all around the place were overflowing with trash and clearly had not been cleaned in many days. We walked into our room and it was not very clean. The floor looked and felt like it had not been mopped in weeks. There was no way we were walking around with shoes on. There was a hole in the wall and the shower area looked like it had not been wiped down in several months. We book a room with two bed but noticed there was only one towel. We went down to the front desk to get enough for the four of us, and were told we don't have any they are on backorder. That is was not her job to do the housekeepings job. We begged and pleaded and got two more towels and a bathmat to use as our fourth towel. Again people just hanging out smoking all over the place. As we were checking out, there was a pile of dog poop in front of the elevator that had clearly been there for awhile. Instead of cleaning it up they put a yellow caution sign over it.The mattresses were about as comfortable as a college dorm mattress. Very cheap. All of the counters had dust or a film on them. Not sure if I was cleaner walking in or leaving the shower. Worst experience ever.

A friend and I found this to be a great stopover on a 3000 mi. driving trip. The room was large, clean, and (most importantly) comfortable. As a newer hotel, it looked very attractive, with the latest in amenities and decorations. It is very easy to find, parking wasn't difficult, and check-in went smoothly. It is a short drive from a small shopping mall, where one can pick up forgotten items. For sustenance, we simply walked across the street to a casual eatery (Perkins), which was OK, though not as adventuresome as we ordinarily would choose. My sister, who stays here often, recommended this, and I'm happy to pass on her recommendation!

The only best thing I can say about the hotel was that Monday 2-13 and Tue 2-14 the day staff was very pleasant and went above. The rooms are so noisy, doors slamming, people talking loud in halls. people walking so heavily above that I thought they'd come through the floor. We checked in Sunday night and the room seemed nice but Extremely noisy, the AC unit gurgled all night and the exhaust fan never turned off. The fridge didn't work so we lost our food that was brought in for the next day. The front desk moved us to another room before we took my granddaughter to hospital for surgery. Coming back this room was even worse for noise. Very overpriced. I had no other choice than to stay as My granddaughter was in the hospital. I've gotten no rest and no member of management compensated us for the food lost or even apologized. I am extremely sorry to have stayed here. It's not for sick people or elderly. The management doesn't seem to acknowledge there is a lot of issues.

We were very tired after driving for 2 days and decided to stay an extra night in Gainesville. We saw your hotel and decided to try it. We were very pleased by everything. The staff were so courteous and nice - the room was very nice with great amenities - and the breakfast was outstanding! Cereal and yogurt are usually my favs, but the biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage caught my attention. Delicious! There was yummy blueberry muffins and coffee to top off breakfast. What a treat! We would definitely stay with you again! I've also been telling our friends how wonderful HOM is!

Less than 20 minutes drive from GNV Airport, call the front desk one day in advance to make an appointment for free pick-up service. And to make an appointment in advance, the hotel can also send to UF, which is very convenient for people who visit Gainesville for the first time. In addition, there are 13 buses at the door to UF. The lobby is spacious, the front desk is nice, there is free ice water and coffee. There are also computers and printers that can be used for free. There is a pool outside. The room is spacious enough, with a couch, small refrigerator, small vault and iron. The mattress is soft and the sheets are comfortable. There are small bottles of shampoo conditioner and soap, and the whole is clean. You need to bring your own slippers and dental appliances. Breakfast has homemade waffles, bread egg bacon, orange juice yogurt and low-fat milk. There is also an unknown paste that tastes good. The hotel goes out and turns left and walks 6-7 minutes across the road. There is a delicious Korean food Seoul POCHA. Go out and turn right and walk 3-4 minutes across the road. There is a Mexican food and a small supermarket. Walk straight along the road for 10 minutes and there is a drugstore. The accommodation experience is comfortable and can be recommended.

Our stay was clean, restful and pleasant. Staff from start to finish were kind, helpful and accommodating. They were even understanding and professional when an older individual below our room complained about our 2 year old playing after being in a c****at for hours while we travelled. We were moved to another room, above a conference room, so that our toddler wouldn't disturb anyone else. Thank you to the staff for handling the situation so kindly. Not only is he a toddler but also has sensory issues related to his health. I would like to think anyone traveling with a young child, especially children with special needs would be handled with such professionalism as we were that day. God bless!

This hotel was very nice and clean with friendly front desk staff. I liked that we could turn up the fan in the room to block out outside noise. I didn’t like that ice was unavailable on our floor. The bathroom, while nicely turned out, was a black hole with the dark wallpaper absorbing all the light so it made seeing well to do hair and makeup a challenge for my daughter and me. The most surprising thing was the awful breakfast that the hotel offer. They should be embarrassed for charging people for it. The fruit bowls were empty, the bananas were green and the eggs we asked for were overly salted and soaked in butter. The rest of the offerings were very meager. I would definitely eat somewhere else.

I want to mention Samantha first, who had breakfast ready for us at 6:30 am. She is such a nice lady who’s smile and positivity started our morning off great! The eggs were fluffy, the food station clean and organized, the seating area also clean and comfortable. My husband and I are driving through Gainsville on our way to Miami and stayed here overnight. The area around the hotel offers everything you need. Stores galore including a Target. Lots of dining options from quick fast food chains to sit and dine restaurants. We went to a very good sushi restaurant close by. The front desk employees were very nice and welcoming. Very easy check-in. The room Was set up Like a small apartment with a little stove, full size refrigerator, and dishwasher,. The room room was clean and smelled good. The bed was comfortable. We both slept great! Temp was good and easy to change. They have plenty of Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We didn’t use the pool but could see it from our window. It looked nice. So everything was to our surprise, top notch! But waking up earlier than we wanted to since we were so comfortable, and seeing Samantha’s warm welcome in the breakfast area was what prompted me to leave this review. And finally, our checkout was fast and easy and again, the front desk employee was very friendly and proud to work here. Definitely staying here again!

This hotel has its okay aspects and its not so good aspects. First the good...The hotel is a bit older but has been somewhat renovated and is sufficient. The location is close to everything including I-75, and surprisingly quiet inspite of being close to the interstate. The beds were quite comfortable, and it was reasonably priced. The not so good... Digital key does not work, front desk staff was less than friendly, informative, or helpful (with the exception of Ami who was a friendly new hire), We stayed 2 days and there was no housekeeping for refreshing of clean towels. We were later told housekeeping had to be specifically requested but this was not mentioned at check in. When we requested new towels, we were asked to bring our dirty towels to the front desk to swap. Completely unacceptable and unsanitary! There were several hot options for breakfast and it was standard for Hampton. I will say this hotel is NOT a bad option but there are definitely BETTER options in Gainesville. I would only book again in a pinch!

6 pm check-in traffic jam, phones ringing off the hook, Jason is all alone at the desk BUT manages to fit me in between guests, takes my laptop that won't connect with the hotel Wi-Fi, and asks me to come by in a few minutes...I walk my dog. When I return about less than 10 minutes later Jason, cool as a cucumber, hands me my laptop ready to go ...and by then he had cleared the lobby of all waiting guests. I have never seen anything like it! He should get a promotion. Obviously, he fixed the problem as I am on the internet using it in my room. In this day and age, this kind of service can only be expected in ultra-plush luxury hotels with ample staff. The manager should praise his staff often...he has jewels working under him. The room was also immaculately clean...and the bed was the best. Love this place...checking in again on my return trip!

The overall feeling is still good, do not talk about traffic conditions abroad, no car really can not go out, parking here is very convenient, the hotel's surrounding environment is still relatively good, there is a small pool, room facilities in general, but also clean, the front desk Handling check-in and check-out are quick. Although the breakfast is simple, the taste is still in line with Chinese taste. If it is not too demanding, it is a recommended hotel.

The breakfast is great, the buffet is casual, and there is an all-day apple and coffee! Also gave a very early breakfast the next day, very warm breakfast service staff!
