Very pleasant and relaxing stay overall. I chose the hotel for its proximity to the Congress Centre, but also its classic architecture and scenery. And I do not regret it, on the contrary. Felt like in the previous century, without skyscrapers. Rooms are small but clean, beds are very comfy. Bathroom is OK and well equipped. Rooms may offer a view to the garden (pictures attached). Pretty clean overall. By foot, you can reach the Congress Centre (during a walk in an extremely nice park) in 7 minutes on high heels :)…therefore, easily made in 5 minutes with ordinary shoes. Very quiet area. The bus stop is very close and you may arrive rapidly to the city centre. Staff OK, not very friendly and not very attentive, but …the area is too nice to complain about that. I found the breakfast very basic, not healthy and expensive (8 EUR). Nevertheless, in the vicinity (about 700 m) there is a SPAR supermarket, where you can find good food and beverages, pretty cheap. Rooms provide a fridge…therefore, here you go! I would definitely come back!

This is the best hotel I've stayed on when traveling in Eastern Europe. As soon as I entered the hotel room, I felt very warm and comfortable. There's free water and cola, both tomorrow. This is not available in many hotels. The bath water is also very large and hot, and I personally like it. Breakfast is western food, but a little more than other hotels. The location is also a hotel I am very satisfied with. Close to subway station, bus station, easy to go anywhere. Fisherman's Bastion can be reached on foot from the hotel in less than ten minutes. Very convenient. Recommended for freelancers in Budapest.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, you only need to go through a park to climb Castle Hill. For those who do n’t like to walk, it ’s troublesome, because they have to take the subway to get to the mountain to go up the mountain. There are also dm supermarkets and other supermarkets nearby, there are post offices, restaurants need to walk a while, but they are acceptable. The whole is like a domestic express hotel. The rooms are not large, they are simple, and the style is relatively young. There is no shower curtain, and the bathroom is full of water. WiFi is fine. The window view of my room was the train station, but it was not noisy. There are still a lot of choices for breakfast. Although it is Western food, there are always many types that can fill your stomach. Check out is fast, which is better. There is a small souvenir shop downstairs. The owner is very kind and helped me. Hygiene can't fault it. This place is very quiet, there are few people at night, and I like lively suggestions to live in the city of Pez. This is Buda, scenic.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my mom and sister for a city break. On arrival we were greeted and quickly checked in. We were on the fifth floor. You have to get the lift to the fourth floor and then walk a flight of stairs to the fifth. We didn’t find this a problem. The room was very clean and tidy the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. The breakfast was basic but enough to keep you satisfied. Fruit, cereal, scrambled and boiled eggs etc. The bread was lovely and fresh. We needed advice regarding bus routes etc and the people on the desk were so helpful and polite. We felt so comfortable at this hotel. We had a lovely stay and couldn’t fault the place at all. I would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay

The hotel is cheap in Europe. I can still see the Buda Mountain, mainly because the room is large, and there is a small kitchen. I can eat the only instant noodles (with a pot to cook) for two weeks. Take a look at the Chinese stomach. There are parking spaces in the courtyard, and there are not many seats. It is recommended to say hello in advance. The front desk is full of Yishui middle-aged uncle, handsome and elegant. Here you can buy a single ticket, buy a transportation day ticket and go to the machine in the city. You can get to Pez City by the river after three stops. It is not expensive to take a taxi. It is about one kilometer and one euro. (Remember to buy a group ticket for 2-5 people, you only need 2 people for the ticket, but several people need to be together. The day ticket refers to 24 hours, so calculate the time to buy a ticket.) His family's breakfast is rich, So you can eat more.

First of all, the advantages: the advantage is that the location is good, near the Mermaid Fort, Going out to sit in the Mermaid Fort at night to enjoy the scenery is simply beautiful! The attitude and service of the service staff is particularly good! Great! Disadvantages: If you are taking the train to Budapest, you still want to do the subway to the hotel, then congratulations, you have to prepare to drag the suitcase to climb the stairs, but also go to the park with stones, if you happen to wear high heels or a lot Pack, then you have a big lottery, kill you! Exhausted you! Don't ask me for knowing! If you get out of the car and take a taxi, then there is nothing wrong! I also hit the car in the end! There is no supermarket nearby, there are 16 buses, it is very convenient! The key point is: the room is particularly tidal, to what extent, I washed a pair of underwear, did not do it for five days! The room is still dark and the air is not good! In addition, the hair dryer is not good for this device, just the display! I hope I can't help you!

There is a bus stop at the main entrance of the hotel, a Chinese restaurant and a supermarket, and the Danube River on the back. When we are on the Danube, we often stay at the hotel. The walk behind the river at night is also very romantic. The hotel's cleaning service is very positive and it feels like When we went to breakfast, we went into the house and cleaned it. It felt that it was not very good because we didn’t pack everything and put it on the bedside and on the desk. Later, when I went to breakfast several times, I hanged on the door and did not disturb. Not going in, the third photo is the supermarket and restaurant bus stop at the hotel entrance. The location of the hotel is very convenient.

The location is very good, there is a Miller perfume cosmetics can buy and buy downstairs, next to the spar supermarket, opposite the M2 subway station, surrounding McDonald's, pizza shop is readily available. The facilities are almost three or four stars in the country. If the sheets are not changed every day, they will be laid for you. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but they are basically enough. The room is still quite large, we added a bed for 15 euros per day with breakfast, very cheap. The toilet is a bit high, not very friendly to Asians, and it doesn't feel like sitting on it!

Hotel is located 1-2 minutes from the market hall, and right next to the pedestrian zone, and maybe 1-2 minutes to the river abd bridge. So the location is very good. An airport shuttle bus station is about 10 minutes walking distance, very convenient. The hotel was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and big enough for a single traveler. The breakfast buffet was decent and everything looked and tasted fresh and good. In total, I really enjoyed my stay there and would come back anytime.

Great location, friendly staff that always greet when you enter the hotel (regardless of time of day), very clean rooms and well facilitated. Bed super comfy and ability to heat or cool the room depending on the time of year. Only minor complaint is if overlooking the square then on the weekend it can be slightly noisy but not to the detriment of our sleep. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would happily do so again.

We stayed only one night in Vagabond's penthouse apartment. It all went well until the day after our stay when I received a two-sentence email claiming that we left the bedroom in an unacceptable condition so they charged me 40 EUR cleaning fee. No photos attached, no cleaning invoice, just a made-up instant charge based on their belief that their false accusation is appropriate. The host was adamant that it was us and after a request for clarification they sent us some pictures. However, the picture details were deleted so there was no chance to check when were they taken. In the end, the host corrected that it was not us, but the guest staying after us. Personally, I am not convinced about the "following guests' story", smells more like a scam. It took 5 emails and two calls with the host and booking.com in a span of three days to achieve a single sentence apology and the confirmation about the refund. The received refund was less than the original charge due to currency change but who cares. The apartment itself is OK aside from missing microwave, terrace furniture and towel hangers, however, everyone should decide for oneself, whether, it is worth to grant bank account access to such unprofessional and ignorant bunch. My time and nerves wasted for this single day booking definitely were not worth it.

We chose this hotel as it has just been opened and it still has this feeling of freshness. This comes with some drawbacks as well but let's focus on the advantages first. One of the most important one is naturally the location. It is just next to the main tourist places and you can visit all the main sites on foot. The room we got was decent in size; it overlooked the tiny yard which meant that it was - mostly - quiet. Apart from the air-con units which turned on and off at night both inside our room but also the generators outside. You could hear them when you opened the window. Breakfast is next door in the Mercure- albeit really good- it cannot be reviewed as Ramada breakfast. We found two things really frustrating which will prevent us from staying there again. The first one is the parking space. The hotel has no own parking lot and all they offer is looking for a place in the street. This is no good because in this area not only it is payable but also limited to 3 hours per day. Another option is a public parking lot a few hundred meters from the hotel. Not very convenient if you have luggage. The last one is the parking next door at the Mercure for ca 25 EUR per night. The receptionist at Ramada told us not to bother asking as it is usually full. Still we did ask and we conveniently parked there. The staff at Ramada are young and rather inexperienced compared to the Mercure. Finally, the glass door to the bathroom... OK with some pattern on it but still rather inconvenient when you share a room with someone. Also the elevator broke down one evening and was not functioning until noon next day and the hotel has 6 floors... All in all a decent place with no frills.

We had originally booked this as a Christmas escape but due to Covid we postponed it to February. We needed somewhere with a pool and some gym facilities as it was a well-being break but finding that we actually had an apartment was a game changer. It is true the decor of the rooms is a bit dated but who cares?! It was brilliant having a kitchen, lounge and bedroom etc sometimes being stuck in a hotel room for a week is a bit claustrophobic, for one of us to grab an early night and the other stay up a bit later was very relaxing and convenient. The staff on the front desk were so welcoming and pleasant in every interaction. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and easy to make healthy choices. The staff in the breakfast room were also lovely and made us feel looked after and welcome. A very convenient location and a very relaxed, clean, friendly place to stay. Bravo.

I read some of the critical reviews with disbelief. This was our second visit, the first was some 6 years ago. And it was still great. The weather was really hot so we had our breakfasts on the first floor terrace, sitting in the shade. Excellent small room with tip top air conditioning, which it needed to be given the temperature went up to 36 degrees. The staff were both helpful and kind, my wife tripped while we were sight seeing and badly bruised her face. The staff gave us a cold compress to help bring the bruising out. A few minutes walk from the Danube, on the Buda side of the city. Great location.

The location is very central, three stops from the train station, and it takes 10 minutes to get there. From the Iron Bridge Ferris Wheel's various net review foie gras restaurants are very close. Closed after 11 pm, you need a room card to enter the hotel. In addition, the ten girls' room is very good. They are in the two separate rooms on the edge of the hall, all of which are girls. There are men and women in the public bathroom rooms upstairs. And the ten-person room is not cute, it is not a steel bed, it will not affect both sides, and there are cabinets. But the lock must be brought on its own.

I loooved this room. It's how a room would look if I decorated it. Very chic, clean lines, lots of mirrors and a closet with a decent amount of space. The price was very reasonable. There were great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The staff was very nice and super helpful. The location was ok for the price. The train/tube was less than a half a block away. The bus and tram to city center were at the end of the block. However, most tourist attractions were about a 15-20 minute bus ride away. Not terrible by any means but if you like to be in a more tourist friendly area- this isn't it. Also, the hotel occupies a floor in a commercial building. So the hotel doesn't control the common areas. At night, there are no lights in the hallway/ common area of the building. It's actually pretty creepy trying to make your way in the dark from the main level to the level the hotel is actually located on. I complained about it to the front desk but nothing changed as I am not sure they have the power to change this. Outside of that, I loved the hotel and would recommend it to those who are a bit more adventurous and are ok living outside of the tourist trap.

My wife and I have just returned from Budapest and had a great time. Our son booked us into the Boutique Residence Budapest (Hotel) Hotel in brackets as it's not like any hotel we've been to before. As you approach the building our hearts were in our mouths as the place looked nothing like the pictures. Although it's a stone's throw from the Basilica the building is inauspicious to say the least. The entrance is sad and tired with a lift from the 50s. However as soon as the door is opened its like a different world. The welcome was warm and genuine, and the interior is modern and immaculately clean. The room (109)was a lovely size also very modern and immaculately clean. The bathroom was lovely and ultra modern, with good quality fittings. Basically everything you would need was there. Breakfast is the anomaly, the Continental breakfast is allocated to the room. It comes in cute baskets with your name and room number. It typically consists of 3 assorted bread rolls and a croissant each, with a butter, pot of pâté, three cherry tomatoes,a bottle of juice and a jam. More than adequate but odd. If you're looking for a great coffee and good selection of pastries cafe Artisan is a right turn out of the building and straight across the junction and on the right. The location is fantastic close enough to get around but not noisy. Public transport is fantastic, local and with the help from Google with the names, very easy to navigate. A great find, we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very convenient to the city, with a metro only a 5 mins walk away. The hotel is good value for money as it is inexpensive. The young man on the front desk was always lovely and welcoming to us and the ladies doing the breakfast were also lovely. The hotel is dated but has everything you need. The shower head holder on the wall was missing a screw so the water was directed at the wall, this was a pain. The foam from the shower gel came up in the middle of the bathroom floor through another drain, this then wet the floor and made it slippy. The breakfast was very limited, I was unable to eat most of it. The kind lady at breakfast went out of her way to go buy gluten free bread for me as there was none at the hotel. We could hear some noise coming from outside while in the room but it was tolerable, however everytime someone showered or flushed the toilet the water made a lot of noise. The mini fridge also didn't work, we tried plugging it in but it made a lot of noise and didn't sound right so we unplugged it again as didn't trust it. The air con system is also extremely noisy, we wanted to have some heat on during the night but had to turn it off due to the noise, this then left us very cold as there were only 2 single quilts for 2 people sharing instead of a bigger quilt. Other than that the room was spacious and generally met our needs. The walls aren't too thick as we could hear talking in other rooms.
