Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon at the beginning of April, and we couldn't have found a more beautiful and welcoming place to begin our honeymoon! We had a view of the old port and upon our arrival the front desk staff was so friendly and couldn't say enough congratulations! Our first morning we decided to have our breakfast delivered for room service, and they were very timely to when we had asked for, and delivered a HUGE breakfast tray! The food was absolutely delicious too - and I am pretty picky about my breakfast foods. Honestly, it was probably one of the best, if not the best breakfast we had on our whole 2 week trip! Like some other reviewers mentioned, it is not close to the airport (but not many places are in M****ille), but it is located right in the heart of everything you would want to do in M****ille! We also found that an Uber ride was 42 Euros, compared to a taxi ride at almost 70! I have always wanted to come to M****ille ever since I was little, but knew it wasn't always known for being safe. I couldn't have asked for a better experience on my first trip to this city, and it all started with the wonderful staff and beautiful hotel!

My husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel. You can't check in until 3pm, no matter what - even if your flight arrives at 9am in the morning, so be aware that they will need to hold your bags if you wish to drop them off. Staff was very friendly, but right at 3pm, everyone arrives to check in and the wait can take a little time. Our room was pretty small, but had a little kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable and the view was basically of a run-down apartment building in the back of the property (depressing). We fortunately had a good nights rest with very little noise. There's a Nespresso machine in the room and you can buy pods at the front desk. The location is walkable to many tourist shops and restaurants right in Old Port. The room appeared to be clean, but a bit run down. I would suggest a one night's stay if needed, but to stay longer might cramp your style if you wish for something a bit more roomy and charming. Overall, good stay and a good place for walking around Old Port and surrounding neighborhoods.

A well-located hotel, right in the center of Marseille. Very friendly service (the hotel receptionist is a very friendly and helpful young Portuguese woman), very beautiful rooms, and very good value for money. I recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the city on foot and be close to the main tourist attractions.

We booked this after a successful stay in their Nantes Hotel, however the M****ille hotel is a real let down. - our room was not ready at 3pm check in, we had to wait nearly an hour. - the room was large, but no table or chair available, just empty space. This is just skimping on the facilities. Why would you have breakfast in your room if you have to sit on the bed to est it? - the hotel advertises free parking, it actually doesn’t have any parking, but on asking for parking locations we were told to use public (expensive) car parks nearby. There isn’t even anywhere to pull up outside to drop luggage as the hotel entrance is by a busy road, and on a pedestrian area. - the breakfast was nice, but on the 5th floor it should have had nice views, it didn’t even have a window. It was too small, the food and drink was very crowded, we had to wait for a table, which was then not set properly so I had to find cutlery and plates in a cupboard myself. The tables were very close together it felt very uncomfortable and rude having to find a way through them to the buffet breakfast, being careful not to nudge people as you squeezed through the gap. - the coffee machine was broken, and they had run out of normal tea bags. - the advertised fitness facilities do not exist, the hotel claims it can recommend places to go which is why it is included on their literature - again, false advertising. We asked for a taxi to be booked and were told this would not be possible, instead we should walk to the taxi rank (in the pouring rain with 2 large suitcases). We travelled through France for 3 weeks, moving on every 2 or 3 days, this was, by far, the worst place we stayed, but one of the most expensive. Poor value for money, poor service, poor facilities. I don’t usually like posting negative reviews, I tend to just stick to the positive ones, but felt so strongly let down by this hotel I wanted to help avoid others having the same experience.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is close to many attractions, piers and railway stations in the old port of Marseille. It is not far from the subway station and is within 10 minutes. There are many restaurants near Laogang, there are many choices, there are big supermarkets and Lafayette next door. The breakfast at the hotel is not bad. The window of the church can clearly see the Church of the Virgin on the mountain, go in for breakfast, and do not need to register. The most terrible thing is that the hotel room wifi is very weak, basically to stand at the door of the room to access the Internet. However, Ctrip is a bit 250. I have written a Chinese privileged room on the invoice of English. I have to explain it for a long time. After leaving the store, the list printed on the hotel shows that Ctrip has received 15% more, which is a bit black.

The first time I stayed in a hotel in Marseille was very scared… I went out with a Do Not Disturb sign, because I stayed for 2 nights with my own towels, toothbrush, and even sheets, so I did n’t need room service at all ... I left it in the morning when I left Do not disturb sign, came back once at noon, the room still looks like going out, and then came back at night and found that someone came in ... The room was slightly cleaned, and then there was a box that locked the position of all the luxury boxes purchased. Passive After that ... then think about the contents of the box if it is not locked ... Is it room service or guest room? Too scary, Marseille is not the same as the city in memory ...

I stayed at the hotel for business purposes. The hotel was in a perfect location for the old port and not too far from the station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My stay was quite short. I did not experience any major problems but I felt the hotel room I was allocated was dull and very dingy - lighting was poor the room was clean but looked old and shabby - paintwork and curtains etc, need refreshing. I paid €14 for breakfast - there was a wide choice - but I felt the price for the buffet breakfast was expensive because the hot food was not hot and looked very dried up, so not really edible, the bread did not seem very fresh, was hard.

I usually get up late without booking breakfast; free parking; walk to the supermarket within a few minutes to solve the problem of eating and drinking (borrow hotel microwave oven); there is a gas station nearby, and there is a KFC within ten minutes of walking; choose to stay because of the cost-effectiveness, and drive to the city It takes 20 minutes. I drove the car to the public free parking lot at the Metro Terminal near the Marseille Stadium, and then took the Metro to the Old Port of Marseille. There is no hair dryer in the room, and the smell of the corridors I don’t know how to appreciate...

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, in line with the standards of traditional Japanese hotels. Many hotels in France must be professional and tidy. The toilets are very practical and Japanese-style equipment, which feels good. The location of the hotel is near the railway station, which is very convenient for people who transfer. Another surprise is that as long as customers staying in the hotel, they can enjoy breakfast for free. Therefore, during breakfast, there are many people in the restaurant, and the food is emptied. It is recommended that you come down early and enjoy it.

It is located in a clean street because it is toward the new port. The facilities were also clean and I think I saw a cafe and a swimming pool. Overall, the interior is mostly white, so it's neat and not far from trams and subways. The distance from the old port is tight, so I stayed comfortably at night.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The person who gave us the keys was really very nice. He was courteous, discussing well, very friendly. The rooms are not worth what was said in the comments and which helped me choose this hotel on M****ille. --First, the toilets in the emergency room. The interior of the toilet is flippant for a French hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The shower was a nice one-century shower with a good temperature and pressure left to desire. The radiator, even if we don't use it, was dirty and dustful. --A cigarette smell did not let us out in this room for two nights. And even opening the door of the room, there was a locked smell that we were forced to vaporize male deodorant throughout the apartment. --The positive points: it's big enough for 4. We don't walk over with the children. The hotel is very comfortable and the garage is welcome even if on the site it was not specified that it was paying: 15euros per night! The staff is very sympathetic. In conclusion, this hotel is not worth its price. The hotel is very good and very good.

The rooms are spacious and bright, the layout of the space is reasonable, and the functional areas are clearly divided and the facilities are perfect. It is a large space room rarely seen in Europe. Going out is the station, and it is convenient and cheap to go to various attractions called uber. At the front desk, there is a little brother who worked in Tianjin (it may be an uncle now). The other service staff is very good in English and communicates smoothly.

I have been here for many days during April 2020 for work, during a difficult period because of the confinement due to COVID-19. Although the hotel was understaffed due to the limited operational possibilities because of travel and other restrictions, everybody was extremely kind and friendly and tried to help us in every possible way going well over their assigned duties. From the hotel director (merci Aurelie!) to the rest of the staff (merci Valentin, Bérangère and Claire!) they were always trying for the best for all of us. The rooms are shining clean (although not too big if you have to stay inside for long), noise insulation and air conditioning at top level. Perfectly situated near the “Vieux Port” if you want to visit the city. Avoid only the neighboring area just behind the hotel. If I need again a hotel in M****ille it will definitely be my first choice. The staff can make all the difference in the world!

It is within walking distance of all major attractions and is fully equipped and convenient. have to be aware of is: 1. The location marked in the room and the check-in are not the same location, but on the back of Rue Vacon Street. See the drawing, I hope that the next time Ctrip can make a note, although it is the listing of booking. 2. We live on the second floor, 2nd floor, actually the third floor. If there is no elevator, the weight of the baggage needs to be considered. 3. Regarding parking, there is one next to the hotel, which is very convenient. The guide is 15 Euros a night. This depends on the specific time period. From the drawing, everyone can understand the parking rate. We stopped for about 22 hours on the first day, and paid the top 31.7 euros. The next day is 9:00 in the morning. Leave and pay about 22 euros. 4. Regarding the pre-authorization deduction, they usually return at 4 pm on the day of departure, plus the bank's operating time, it may take 2-3 days to arrive. We are showing pictures of the check-out, I hope to return immediately. The staff asked if the room had extra consumption and immediately retired.

The hotel was quiet (provided your window closes well...), But the darkening curtains were old, and see through. They really provide the minimum Accor benefits for a gold/platinum/diamond member. No way to get a welcome drink for the two occupants of the room, and no gift as a benefit. Moreover it is the only hotel in the town that does not participate in the free breakfast at weekend benefit. Please take that into account. It is not advertised anywhere and we were told that we had to check it for ourselves on Accor website. The hotel takes a lot of advantages by using the name Mercure and attracts status members but they do not take this responsibility seriously and give the benefits as they see fit. The customer is not in a position to negotiate what benefits they want, so why is it so easy for a hotel to opt out?

The hotel is on a small hillside with a view of the old port of Marseille from the platform of the hotel lobby bar. The most commendable is the breakfast room on the top floor of the hotel, where you can enjoy breakfast while admiring the Old Port Marina and the Mediterranean Sea. Opposite the hotel is the monastery of St. Victor. I don’t know if I can visit it or not. Walking along the coast of the hotel, all the way is a variety of restaurants and bars, cafes, in the evening, the restaurants along the street are full of people, seafood barbecue and beer is the best match. All the way to the end is the dock and the fish market, but the fish market is only in the morning, basically at around 12 o'clock. A few steps away from the fish market, there is a Chinese restaurant with the most authentic taste of Marseille - the sea kitchen, mainly Sichuan cuisine, is completely Chinese taste, and the taste is more authentic than the so-called Sichuan restaurant in many southern regions.

I stayed over when the CV crisis had just kicked off, having cut my walking holiday short to return home. Staff were all very helpful, but in particular Olivier on reception who was exceptionally helpful and supportive. I was travelling alone at this point and the city had just endured the first day's lockdown. I was told to return to the hotel by Police when I went for a walk to find food. The hotel provided printed official government forms for guests to complete to state why there needed to travel (though I was not once asked for it, at least I had one) and provided hot water and coffee free of charge although the cafe was not allowed to open. The room was spotlessly clean, bed comfy and there was little noise at night. If you stay here, say hi to Olivier, he was absolutely fabulous!!

Very satisfied with staying at this hotel. The friendly staff helped us with our questions. We booked a room for two, but the window went out for construction, asked to replace the room, it was immediately replaced by three, bigger and more comfortable. Breakfast is not very varied, but quite sufficient. The hotel is close to the subway, a 3-5 minute bus ride to the beach (a three-day unlimited ticket solved the question of moving around M****ille). Near the metro is a shopping center with Auchan. Value for money the price is essentially in favor of quality. A good budget option.

Vieux Port - La Canebière
M****ille is all about the area around the Vieux Port. This is the heart and soul of the city. So, you would be well adviced to take a hotel at the port or on short walking distance like this hotel. First the pro's: the price is reasonable, breakfast is good value for money, beds are good, wifi is fast, and as said, the location is good. The young lady that runs the bar/breakfast room and sometimes the reception does this friendly, efficient and always in a very upbeat mood. There are con's, but of less importance : we had a room at the backside on the second floor. This room has a very small outdoors, but is surrounded by steep walls and just above the kitchen with a rather noisy extraction pipe close by. So: avoid rooms 21 and 22 but take a room a couple of floors higher-up if you stay at the backside. Also: the stairwell is painted dark blue and the sc**** lighting turns on only at the very last moment. This part of the hotel is in dire need of a good make-over. However, the pro's exceed the con's by far, so : well recommended.

I have had a really good experience through all my stays at Greet Hotel. It is close to St Charles TGV station, which is handy as I always arrive in MRS late with luggage. The staff is "sympa", and trustable. I once had forgotten my wallet at the reception, and I got a phone call a few minutes later inviting me to come and get it. Rare in MRS. The manager is a nice lady who clearly makes sure that her guests are all settled nicely. "My" room, always the same so far, faces the courtyard, so no traffic noise, and barely any noise at all. The bed is huge, so is the TV screen. There's a nice character desk where I like to work or email on in the evenings. Brekky is takeaway with the option to bring it back to our rooms. It's quite nice considering the COVID measures. The bathroom is big too. And there are plenty of pigeonholes to put your various effects in. There is a Le Vélo bay next door, which makes it easy to go anywhere for... EUR 1 a week! MRS is mostly sunny throughout the year, so you can just consider riding to anywhere. No mask needed when riding, BTW. For my next, regular, biz trips to MRS, I'm not looking any further. The perk of this hotel, for me, is clearly the reading corners in the foyer, boasting an ecclectic choice. I make a point reading a few pages everytime I go.

The first time I stayed in the hotel, I felt like home, small enough, kind enough, and caring enough. The hotel room does not have slippers, toothbrushes, kettles, only bath products. Hot water tea bags, coffee and biscuits are available in the lobby. Every time you come back from shopping, sit in the Nordic-style lobby and enjoy the cold wind, hot tea, and chat with the front desk. The family room I live in has one large bed and two small beds. The breakfast is very simple, it ends at ten o'clock, and the food and drink are complete. If you wake up late, there is still bread to eat in the lobby. This is why it feels like home, because there are many times a day you have to stay here. The hotel is close to the castellane station of Metro Line 1. I bought a three-day ticket for the trip. Metro and public transportation are common. All attractions can be reached by no more than two buses. I tried to walk to the old port on foot on the first day, which took less than half an hour. There are Korean restaurants and Carrefour supermarket downstairs. There are Chinese restaurants, seafood and pizza near the subway station. Very convenient.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to a very famous building by le Corbusier. But it turned out to be a great choice!
