Today is our last day on our holiday. We have been on lockdown since Saturday. The hotel and their staff have been amazing during these terrible circumstances. It was my partners birthday on Monday and the hotel staff sent a lovely bottle of champagne to our room. Not the hotels fault, but not been a great holiday due to the lockdown. The staff have done everything in their power to keep their guests happy with having the bar open later for bar snacks if you don't want to eat in the restaurant. I would highly recommend these apartments due to all the staff. The staff have kept us well informed. A big shout out also to the cleaners in our rooms who have been so cheery and done an excellent job when coming into our rooms. We are in room 208 and although you don't get the sun on the balcony, the rooms are sufficient enough for our needs. We will be visiting again in the future.

We stayed a Club Tenerife in January. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. We were worried about the mixed reviews but needn't have been. Yes, the furnishings are a little tired but it was clean and a great base for our holiday. Plenty of good restaurants close by, many of them do an early evening special which is great value. Pool bar serves wonderful food and the owners always made us feel welcome. Swimming pool was cleaned daily. I, personally, didn't like the glass surround but appreciate it is a safety feature. Cleaners came in three times during our 10 day stay. Reception staff were always on hand for advice or support. Very friendly. It is on a rather steep hill but we were certainly fitter when we left than when we arrived!

This was a holiday to get winter sun. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite which meant there was a room to put gear in. There were also 2 toilets. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned each day which we really liked and we were asked if there was anything else we wanted. Food was buffet style and had a very good range. We are one veggie and one meat eater so there was a lot of choice to suit both. On one evening the chief made and bought me a pizza as there was not one there that was veggie. There was also a microwave which I used as I like my food hot. The wine with the meals (we were all inclusive) was from a bottle and pretty good quality. We liked all the pools particularly the adults only and places to get coffee and diet drinks. What was especially good was the entertainment. There was one area for families(it was not school holidays but there were as usual quite a few children missing their education) Another bar had some very good singers with good variety. This was much better than on previous holidays taken at this time. The hotel was quiet and had plenty of places to sit. We especially liked the free minibus into town and made a lot of use of this.

We stayed here for a week in Feb. in a 2 bed apartment. It is a 15 min walk down the the seafront and a 30-40 min walk into Los Cristianos or Playa Las Americas. There is an extensive bus service running close to the hotel and taxis are fairly cheap too (€8 for a 3 mile trip in the evening home from Playa). Pros- spacious, modern, large south facing balcony with table and outdoor furniture, very clean, shower had an overhead rain shower and a hand held wall shower, plenty of towels in room (no flannels though), free large pool towels (available for a €20 deposit), well stocked kitchen inc. washing up liquid, tea towels, cloth, toaster, coffee machine, kettle & microwave, large comfy sofa and TV (which had BBC1,2,news, ITV, channel 4 and 5), friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English, Zanzibar outside bar with gas heaters, close to a 24hr mini market and a larger supermarket (Diapublix) 5 mins walk down the hill. Cons- no air con (this was an annoyance as unseasonably warm whilst we were there but would make summer months unbearable - there was a noisy fan in each room ), only one bathroom (2 sinks and a toilet and shower which blocked easily) for potentially 6 people, no toiletries (apart from soap) in the bathroom, nowhere in the large shower to put shampoo/conditioner shower gel etc. so had to leave on the floor, very firm mattresses on the beds (we have an orthopaedic mattress at home so I like a firm mattress but these were too hard even for me!), no dishwasher in kitchen, no grill/oven (did have a microwave which looked like it did grill but no instructions on how to use it), no dustpan/brush or broom, lots of Balinese beds but these were never used as €30/ day (however this included food/drink up to €30) and were unfortunately in the shade for most of the day, some building works going on which the hotel apologised for but we did still have to cross the building site to get to our room (noisy during the day too). Accessibility - this hotel is built on a fairly steep hill so is terraced. To get between the different levels there are slopes and stairs and they also encourage you to also the pavement outside the complex as there are locked gates up and down the length of the hotel for which you are given a key for the gate closest to your apartment. They are trying hard to make themselves accessible but unless you had an electric wheelchair or scooter this is not the hotel for you. Many of the hotels in Los Cristianos are built on the hill leading down to the sea so this hotel is not alone with its difficult location.

I will start with the negatives:- Upon drop off by hoppa we had no clue of the extrance. Its not sign posted. Just an A board for "legends". Thats now what we know as the bar inside. If it wasn't for the Iceland sign we wouldn't have know which way in. (Down a ramp with green carpet) Legends hold the key to the hotel downstairs comunal toilets.... not good. They are also very cheap ( john smiths pt & malibu & coke €4) No one was in reception. There is nothing here. Very vacant. We were on floor 6 room 61. Up in lift. Very 1970 feel. Nothing warming. No pictures just bare walls. Not even plants. Got to room. The 70's feel extended into there too. Orange curtains, bedding, throws. Missmatched drawers & units of pine, mahogany, dark oak. The built in wardrobe smelled so strong of mothballs it made me wretch. Kept doors open all holiday so my clothes didnt smell too much. Bed was solid as a rock. Only 1 pillow supplied. No aircon and boy is it hot at night. I suffered. Now the positives:-👉 Small kitchenette but very adequate for what we needed. Bathroom was very large & perfect. Tv had british settings. In english. The view was great. Overlooked the small beach & cove, mountain that you could walk up. Overlooked the shops over the road. Karaoke good & the bad, stops at midnight, but drinkers still there till about 2-3am. Overall despite the decor this room gave us what we needed. A bed, great view and a place to chill when needed. The lane running alongside of hotel takes you direct to beach front. Its about a 2 mile walk but worth it. All the resurants, pubs coffee shops, ice cream places all worth checking out. Great views out to sea. Watch the huge boats come into port. The viking ship on its trips around the harbour. The pedallows shaped as cars. Even working wheels to push off the sand with a slide off it. The hotel was the last one on the stretch of beach, or 1st, depends how you look at it. Deffo much better looking hotels along the way, if you wanted spa hotels, 5*, fully inclusive etc. We went for self catering. So glad, as were so many nice places to eat, you would miss that if you were all inclusive. My 1st image shows our hotel at furthest point. Its the tower block. I forgot to take images of room. After chatting to a couple of women in the amazing hotel pool ( again not signposted) they said they had great room, decor, aircon and was facing the beach front on other side. The side i wish we had. But if did we would have missed some crazy moments. A wedding on the cove, crazy man fighting a wasp/air or maybe terrets🤣. The Iceland super market on site is amazingly well stocked of everything you could want. Cheap. Great labels we all know. Milk was £2.45 but its needed. There is a fully stocked supermarket down the road a little with ATM.no where to change cash tho. Opposite is a beauty parlor, pizza resurant, rumours resturant amazing food and so much of it. English owned. Bars, irish bar & drag act/karaoke bar, indian resurant not 1 per

We arrived on New Year's Eve and followed the instructions for self check in. Everything worked perfectly. It was very convenient. It's probably the cheapest accomodation in Los Christianos. We got a double room with private bath room and balcony. The room was small but bright and super clean. Excellent location and friendly staff. Only downside were the other tenants of the pension who are VERY drunk, loud and rude. I think it's perfect for couples or friends staying one night but I would not go there as a female solo traveller because of the other tenants. Be sure to get a room with private bathroom.
