Good: The interior of the hotel is very nice especially the breakfast area, room was normal, a bit small but nothing to complain. The breakfast was the best we had in France as it had a lot of choice (the coffee was horrible unfortunately). In front of the hotel you find two parkings one with blue lines on which you can only park after 7pm and the white lines available all the time but almost full most of the time (and we visited in February!). Across the road you find more white boxes, with some luck you will manage to park. During our stay we eat at the following restaurants all very good and within 10 mins or less walking distance: La Cuisine du Marche; Version Latine and Le Bouchon Lyonnais. Bad: Both the check-in and the check-out process were very cold. They didn’t even bother to ask as if we needed any information or if we enjoyed our stay, nothing. When we arrived they just handed us the key and before leaving they just took the card for the payment, no further conversation at all. When booking I specifically mentioned that it would be my husband’s birthday but no mention at all, even a small drink on check in would have been appreciated. Our room, number 65 was close to a small balcony in which people went out to smoke so there was a big smell of cigarettes in the corridor which was also entering our room, which was very annoying. After 10pm there is no staff at the reception so you need to use the back doors.

After many and many adventures through every kind of hotels in France, my statement is that i ever come back just to one of them, the Cavaillon's Ibis Budget. If i ask to me why, at the beginning don't know what to say; but after some meditation i find the right word: I feel at home. Nothing special, except for the wonderful dining room with his perfect jungle so well grown and maintained. But the atmosphere is the opposite of all the Ibis Budget I have experienced. There is a presence, a care about every little detail, a warm sense of guesting. In a word I feel at home ...

Checking was one of the most frustrating experiences ever, to check in 4 people took approximately 30 minutes. The room was certainly no more than ok, no aircon as expected, the bed was the usual 2 singles pushed together but they both sloped towards the middle which had a huge lump, uncomfortable.... The shower was more like a dribble and took at while to get warm.. The room, however, was very very clean. I’d not stay here again mainly because of the bed and no air con. Considering this was a superior room it didn’t feel it.

I stayed here with a tour group and I received horrible news. I had to rush to the US because my mom was gravely ill. I didn’t want to panic but I was in Cavaillon. How to get to the US from here? I can’t remember her name but I’ve included her picture in my review so hopefully the manager can thank her for me as she was sent by God to help me. Even though it was very late at night and she was changing shifts, she helped me go online to book tickets from the nearest train station to Paris, and then a flight from Paris to LA. She even arranged for a taxi to pick me up at an ungodly hour in the middle of nowhere, it seemed, and calmed me down. That staff worker helped me see my mom before it was too late. If it wasn’t for her, I don’t know what I would have done. The Wi-Fi in the hotel is very weak and thus I couldn’t use my Wi-Fi to try and figure everything out. We slept for a few hours and the room was large and uncomfortable. I am truly grateful for the hotel staff and am indebted to them.

This was probably my 6th or 7th time at this hotel and finally it has had a renovation. The reception and bar area have had a much needed revamp and looks great. The rooms were much more modern and my only fault is I couldn’t get the air conditioning working. The breakfast has always been a let down here, for cooked food there were 2 small sausages and eggs that you can boil yourself. At the price they charge I’d expect much, much more. I avoided it and went elsewhere.. Dep4nds what you want from a hotel, if you just want a pillow to place your head at night and a nice shower in the morning then this is very good. If you want a nice breakfast then look elsewhere..
