We stayed here for one night on Saturday 19th January. You can easily walk past the entrance, but it is signed up outside so keep your eyes open. The location is fantastic and really central. Everything you’d want to see is close to Carten and there’s loads of restaurants really close by. Everything is accessible on foot from here which is a massive perk. The Accomodation is absolutely spotless. It’s really luxurious and the bed was so comfy. The WiFi for your room is ONLY for your room so it’s not slowed down by anyone else using it. The Netflix access is a bonus after a long day exploring! A really special mention to Francesca and Phillipo for making us feel really welcome and special. I am a blogger, and they allowed me permission to film and take photos in the hotel. They stayed with us and shared two hours of chatting away even though our Italian is non existent. They both really made lots of effort to understand our northern accents!! We slept soundly and even though we were up early Phillip was on hand to make us a gorgeous omelette and toastie before us catching the taxi that they had pre-booked for us to take us back to the airport. I would absolutely, whole-heartedly recommend you stay here if your in Naples. The receptionist that checked us in (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name!) was so helpful with a map and recommended all the things we could see and do in one day. Absolutely fantastic service, great food, and excellent Accomodation. Thank you!! Vikki & Frank (Lea Bella Blogs)

Had one night before our flight home. Room was very clean a decent size and the bed very comfortable. Nicely decorated room and the bathroom was also a very good size with nice toiletries. Location was good for our needs and about 20 minutes in a taxi to the airport. It was also quiet inside despite it's city centre location. Breakfast buffet was continental and had a selection to suit most people. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would return.

The location of this hotel is very good. Although the interior is a bit older, we found everything we needed. Didn't know there were such small flatscreen TVs. WiFi worked well. Some good restaurants in the neighborhood. Breakfast was very minimal. Very freindly staff A bit pricy though

Naples is a beautiful but dirty, graffiti-laced, busy city. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet Italian break, Naples isn’t it, at least not in the city center/port area. The B&B Medinaples is in a great location that’s feels as safe as possible in this city. It’s close to the Port, the Spanish Quarter, the historical center, multiple museums, a castle, and lots more. Perfect if you want to be able to walk to everything. A few streets up there’s a commerce street with places like Lush, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, etc. There are plenty of places to book bus tours, walking tours of the city and Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Vesuvio. Places on places to eat and drink. It’s not a perfect hotel. The rooms don’t have much of a view, and are sparsely outfitted/decorated. There are some cosmetic flaws, especially in the bathroom. The room doesn’t include a mini fridge or kettle, or coffee and tea in the room. It is not fancy. But it’s secure, the room was clean, beds clean, (but hard), excellent memory foam pillows. Daily maid service and they do a great job. The staff is excellent, the room we had was of a very generous size, the WiFi reached the room and was fast. We weren’t awakened by any street noise, the room is pretty sound-proof to the outside. The breakfast offered is simple: yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, cereals, pastries and some meats and cheese, some small snack bars. We spent 5 days here, me, my husband and our three year old. Literally the only complaints we have are no mini-fridge and no kettle. Otherwise, we are so glad we chose this hotel last minute, after having previously booked someplace sketchy and not centrally located. So no, it’s not a 4or 5 star hotel. But it was perfect for what we needed, and despite the low price, it was not disappointing in any real way. Again, the staff are excellent! A few tips: It’s across from a giant high rise called Ambassador, on Medina, the door is large, arched brown wood. There is no signage. It’s directly adjacent to Fratelli Bufala. Have a 10 cent € with you for the lift. The reception is on the third floor, door on on the left.

This hotel is in a good location, near the castle. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, museums, waterfront. The staff were friendly and professional. But it’s the little things that make a stay great and they missed a few. Dirty Prosecco glasses were not picked up by housekeeping, shampoo but no conditioner, no towel bar near the sink, light burned out. And the poor woman who works the decent but not great breakfast bar is way overworked. They could really use 2 people for the breakfast shift. Stay away from room 1009. Everyone entering and leaving the hotel walk right past this room, about 1.5m from the bed. You’ll also hear everyone at the front desk or in the lobby. The room was large and attractive. The mattress is ready to be replaced. Nice hotel, and with a few changes could be great.

We had a confirmed reservation for 3 nights. When we arrived, the guy at the desk said our reservation had been canceled, the best they could do was that night only as they were “completely booked”. We had a hard time getting any real reason why, other than “it’s not our fault...we didn’t cancel it.” We’ll, WE didn’t cancel it either! We asked when it was canceled and it was back the previous month. He said we should’ve received an email to that effect and he even checked my husband’s phone for it.As a matter of fact, my husband had received an email check in reminder the day before, which also confirmed the dates of our stay. That didn’t seem to matter. We asked to speak to a manager...we’re told he’s not in until Monday (this was Sat.). He then made a call to someone, lengthy conversation all in Italian, and after he hung up he said he could give us a room for those dates but at a higher rate than our reservation. We took it...a 40 Euro difference....really had no choice. Who DOES that? They were “completely booked” and then magically found a more expensive room? We asked again what happened and this time it was some story about the deposit being insufficient, like a problem with our credit card, but that same card worked everywhere else we used it as well as when HE ran it. We had all the evidence in the world and it didn’t seem to matter. The room was probably what we’d originally booked, an interior room with no view but very quiet for that reason. That and we had no neighbors until the last night. My husband has stayed in Accor hotels in the past and we’d been in the one in Florence this stay and though the location and convenience were great, they really need to do a better job cleaning. There were boot prints on the walls by the beds, like someone used the wall to help tie their laces, and the bathroom could’ve been a lot cleaner. Other than our check in experience, everyone was nice and helpful, breakfast was great, but I’d be hesitant to book there again.

Perfect location. Close to port and historic centre From outside it does not look like a hotel. In a bit run down business building, on third floor. Entering via stairs or small lift. Lobby also run down. They offered us a brand new room on the 7th floor! How beautiful and spacious! Lovely view. You could hear traffic a bit (not with windows closed) but otherwise very calm. Breakfast was basic but lots of choose.

Having read the other reviews, there is a big glaring element that nobody seems to be mentioning... The bathrooms are glass boxes in the rooms. Therefore, THE TOILET IS IN FULL VIEW CONSTANTLY. Pic below, bath actually in the room, was sitting in bed when taking this pic. Nice how the loo is framed in neon though. To be fair, my husband and I are on pretty comfortable terms, but this was a little much... comical until you have to hide round the corner in the hall so your other half can go in peace. Anyway. Nearly didn’t make it as the BS cancelled my booking twice (once in Feb, and once two days before arrival.) we were due to have the top suite as a finale to our sorrento-Capri-Pompeii adventure, and had booked at a rate of £160. They cancelled once, I figured a glitch and rebooked. When they cancelled again (whilst we were in sorrento) they said my card was declined - strang, as payment was due on arrival, and money was available. Turns out, they’d put the price of the suite up to £280, not told me, and cancelled our booking regardless of available funds. Not wanting to waste time searching for another hotel, I rebooked a cheaper room, but left an initial sour taste. Location, Check in/out, room (bathroom nonewithstanding), breakfast and staff all absolutely great, but final hurdle was that the aircon didn’t work - so had to do the night with the windows open. Naples at night is Loud, as you’d expect, so not a great night’s sleep. Great bars in the street below for coffee etc, but they’re a pain in the bum when you have a plane to catch the next day and need some shut eye! All in all, would recommend for solo travellers, or couples at the comfortable stage of their relationship. If you’re thinking of the Barbarella Suitesfor a romantic first weekend away, or a break with a mate, be prepared to push boundaries or take an eye mask and earplugs (and not for the street noise!)

Stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed. Staff were all great, rooms spacious, clean and comfortable and the rooftop bar (also used for breakfast), fantastic!. It is a fair distance from the central rail station, around a 30 minute walk, but obviously I was aware of this when booking. There’s also plenty to do in the vicinity, with the old town only about 10 minutes away. One minor issue, on checking out I was surprised to be charged for the bottles of water provided in the room each day. This was not clear in the room (and it really should be) and in my experience, water is usually provided for free, especially in hot summer months in Italy; I stayed in three other Marriott properties during this stay in Italy and this was the only property to charge for water. Something to think about maybe. However, I did enjoy my stay and would absolutely recommend to others visiting Napoli. Thanks.

"The 4 Elements" B&B is located in walking distance to most of the main Napoli tourist attractions. (To St.Elmo you can take a cable car which is also close by). Toledo metro station is also very close. It is a large and recently renovated apartment on 2nd floor (with elevator), divided into several guest rooms, each one with its own character, each one corresponding to 1 of the 4 elements. The common areas are also beautifully designed. The staff (Alessia & the guy serving breakfast) are very friendly and helpful. IMPORTANT: you need to coordinate your arrival time - otherwise you'll have to wait for somebody to arrive (they don't normally sit there). Highly recommended!

The location is very good, opposite the egg castle and the sea, the breakfast is completely sea view, blowing the sea breeze, feeling great! The breakfast was quite rich, and the cup of Italian condensed was a bit amazing, and I never liked to drink coffee. Although Napoli's construction of the whole city is quite old, it feels good. Because I went to Capri Island to return to the ticket time, I missed the hotel that was temporarily set back to the Rome train. The friend recommended it, said the global chain, because the ship arrived at the shore near ten o'clock at night, so there is no sea view room. The only bad episode was to take a taxi to the hotel at night. The driver received 20 Euros and 10 Euros. If the hotel was in the daytime, the hotel would only be 15 Euros. The German husband of the friend said that it was a tip at night. explained. 🙄

Hotel Guiren is a perfect place to stay in Napels if your just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night. If you are going out exploring then this hotel is very suitable. The room had great air conditioning unit and a good working shower. The double bed was two single beds put together, and was not comfortable but done what we needed. The bathroom consisting of a shower cubical, sink, toilet and bidet.Considering we had a balcony onlooking the main road, which is extrememly noisy when the doors were closed it was surprisingly very quiet. Hotel guiren is about 3 minute walk to train, metro and bus stations. The staff that we met were all very friendly and gave information on places to visit and how to get there. However as per the website, there is no bar and no lift. Many reviews we read before we went to Napels were saying how terrible the hotel was, but we actually found it fine. And as for the area, well Napels is a beautiful city.Yes there is a lot of grafitti everywhere.Yes it is dirty. And yes there are alot of migrants. But they caused no problem and were either polite upon speaking or kept themselves to themselves. If you are looking to visit Napels you must look past the dirt and grafitti as it has so much going for it. So many beautiful historic places...Pompii, Herculaneum, Archeological museum, Mount Vesuvius, San Severro chapel, Bourbon tunnels, Royal palace and so much more. We had an amazing holiday,so be open minded and enjoy the beautiful city of Napels

The absolute best thing about B&B Hotel Napoli is its location – no more than 5 minutes’ walk from Naples Central Station (and the Alibus stop for the airport bus) and about 10-15 minutes’ walk to the historic centre. As other reviewers have pointed out, in addition to the convenient location, B&B Hotel Napoli is great value and offers everything a traveller needs: friendly 24-hour reception, clean, well-maintained rooms, secure keypad entry, good air-conditioning, fast wifi, in-room safe, nice hot shower, comfortable bed etc. I also liked the contemporary décor and the high ceiling, which made my room feel spacious. I did not pay for the hotel breakfast as there were plenty of eateries, cafes and pastry shops nearby and of course in the historic centre. For a good coffee and even better sfogliatella, I highly recommend “Cuori di Sfogliatella”, which faces the train station. I am grateful that some reviewers had expressed their concern regarding the “seediness” of the neighbourhood, which was helpful advice to solo female travellers. I agree that the piazza did not feel safe, especially at night, so I was glad to see uniformed police officers patrolling the area. There is also police presence inside the train station. Just exercise the usual precautions and you will be fine. The one major downside was the poor soundproofing. Even though my second-floor room faced the courtyard (no piazza view for me) and I did not hear any street noise, I was woken up at the crack of dawn by the guest in the next room. I could clearly hear him/her flushing the toilet, using the hairdryer etc. So, if you’re after a restful night’s sleep, it might be a good idea to ask the front desk for a soundproofed room. Also a note to those who travel with large suitcases: the hotel lift is small and slow and gets full quickly during rush hour i.e. breakfast time.

It is the second time in Naples and it is a repeater of this hotel. As expected, it is the best at a star hotel. The location is very close to Naples Central Station. I arrived in Naples at 22:00, but I felt safe with the shortest travel distance even with a suitcase. The rooms are clean, the beds are especially comfortable and you can easily oversleep. Bathroom is luxurious using marble. Water pressure is enough. Breakfast is also rich and delicious, and eats too much from morning. Sfogliatella in the photo was also delicious. We had you call taxi after check-out, but came immediately. This hotel is a favorite in Naples.

I have been staying at the Grand Hotel Parker’s for a week for a business trips with little windows of time dedicated to sightseeing Bella Napoli. Wow! What a truly memorable experience. The hotel is one of those places that is the perfect blend of stately, timeless elegance with impeccable service. Dining at the Michelin starred George restaurant is an absolute must with mouthwatering dishes with a magical Neapolitan twist. My room with spectacular sea views was super comfortable and reminiscent of the grandeur of yesteryear. Great breakfast buffet and flawless service and the Liberty Restaurant with original period features transports you back in time. Great food and I really loved the wine which is directly from the wine cellars of the owners . And the views ...magnificent to say the very least. After a busy day I really appreciated the oasis of calm of the hotel which is in a great location, within walking distance of Naples’ best but far enough away to recharge your batteries from the delightful hustle and bustle that is the historic Centre of Napoli. The best part of my trip was undoubtedly the staff here : a perfect mix of professionalism and Neapolitan hospitality and heart. I would highly recommend the concierge service: Marco and Vincenzo are without a doubt the best concierges I have ever met. A personalized trip around Naples escorted by the elegant, knowledgeable concierges who make you feel like absolute royalty is something that I will remember forever...I can’t wait to come back.

I booked a triple room even though I was alone because I didn't want my room to be tiny. for me as a solo traveler the room size was O.K. but I'm not sure how 3 people could feel in this room which is not generous size. the position is perfectly fine, about 3 minutes walk from the Alibus stop and the main train station. also porta nolana can be reached easily by foot from the hotel. the breakfast was reasonable, typical continental breakfast in a 3 stars hotel in Europa. the Wifi speed was fast and the signal quite strong. The heating in the room worked well. some drawbacks: no electric kettle in the room and no minibar. I recommend to bring a small electric kittle from home if you go there. only one standard european socket in the room, the rest can be used only for thin plugs. all in all my stay was ok, taking in account the drawbacks mentioned above.
