The hotel is directly connected to the small town of Zermatt by a small train, and the traffic is very convenient. The service staff are very professional, including the front desk and restaurant service staff are very friendly and caring. When I checked in, I saw that my identity was my birthday, and I also sent a free birthday cake when we had dinner. There is another point that Ctrip did not specify. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner. When I booked, there was a Matterhorn view room with a small living room, and the room was large enough. The outdoor jacuzzi and sauna experience are great, with a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel guests are very qualified, and everyone tries to wait for the outdoor bathtub when there is no one. The jacuzzi is open from 3pm to 8pm, and the stars can basically be seen after dark at 7pm. You can take very beautiful and private photos. In short, the hotel is very worthwhile, and the scenery alone is worthy of full marks.

The hotel that was booked six months in advance can be said to be completely because only one hotel has booked a trip to Matterhorn. The train ticket up the mountain is very expensive. One person is 98 francs round trip, but it is really worth it. The hotel can see the stars in the night, the Milky Way is very clear, must take the camera to go, the morning sunrise also has excellent conditions, breakfast is good, dinner is too general. The lady who was staying at the front desk was very nice and the presentation was meticulous. Worth going again!

Great location for the view of the Matterhorn. A family run and very friendly hotel. Apparently recently modernised and updated which has been done very well. The rooms are comfortable and bright. Breakfast is good for a continental breakfast and there is a small bar for the evening. Good sized ski room below in a former cold war bunker adds a degree of novelty. Close to the Matterhorn Express lift so ideal for skiing which does mean the centre of the village is a 10 minute walk. Will be booking for skiing in 2021 meets what we need very well indeed

I am writing the review on how the hostel handled the current Corona situation as of March 16, 2020. I booked a single room for March 30th, 2020. The reservation was made in January, 2020 with a non-refundable rate since I was certain to go (Who expected Corona in January?). My flight between New York and Zurich has been cancelled due to a US travel ban last Saturday, and also the situation in Swiss was getting worse closing down shops, restaurants and bars in many Cantons. How do I travel with restaurants closed and supermarkets with empty shelves? When I asked for a cancellation free of charge, Zermatt hostel offered the date change in 2020. But I informed them that I am not able to reschedule in 2020, then, they just cancelled the reservation without any refund. On the contrary, 3100 Klum hotel (my other reservation on Gornergrat, one day ahead of Zermatt hostel stay) refunded right away even though it was a non-refundable reservation. Also other hotels I had with non-refundable reservations offered me full refunds considering the situation. I understand that the Zermatt hostel is a cheaper option compared to my other reservations, but I do not understand how there is such a big gap in the treatment of this crazy Corona situation. Hostel do not concern the health and safety for their guests? I understand no refund if the trip is cancelled due to a personal reason. But this is caused by a disastrous situation no one expected. The accommodation should offer a refund regardless the price tag based on the hospitality common rules in this unprecedented circumstance. I visited Switzerland three times before with friends and families, and this time it was a fourth trip plan. I was so looking forward to it, I still wanted to visit Swiss even when neighboring Italy was under no control. Currently, I have no means to go to Switzerland with flights cancelled. I believe I am not the only one who are going through frustrations, and ask Zermatt hostel reconsidering their policy to value their guests and most of all, not to damage their reputation.

I love Zermatt and everything about it. I usually stay at the Perren, a gorgeous, light, bright, friendly hotel, but they had no space, so I ended up in the sepulchral gloom of the Alex. Cards on table, my sister got Covid last minute, leaving me traveling alone, so already a bad start. The Alex said they would consider refunding me her (very expensive, dark, weirdly decorated [heavy, coloured carpeting, 70s meets dungeon chic - you could almost smell the cigarette smoke]) room if they could resell it. Although I could find almost no accomodation for my dates in the whole of Zermatt they said they couldn't resell it and refused to refund me. Covid has cancelled many hotels and AirB&Bs on me this past two years, but this was the first and only time I was refused a refund (The Perren vouchered me two Covid years in a row). Look, there are nice things about the place - nice pool, ladies only sauna and steam (HOORAY) and the breakfast was okayish. But, God, the lack of light, no views at all, the surly staff somehow cancelling out the lovely, younger and friendlier ones. They really need to knock this down and start again. Don't stay here if you can avoid it. Grim and so, so gloomy.

The most satisfactory hotel in the eight-day Swiss tour, the main reason is that just arrived at the hotel reception desk was informed that the free upgrade to the opposite Monte Palace Hotel! ! The service staff at the Monte Palace is super warm and thoughtful, the room mini bar is free, the breakfast is almost the same as other hotels, but the tableware and service are really high-class, hahaha

It isn’t very often that one is eager to write a review, and to make sure that it is a review that does the stay, the employees, and the ownership justice..but that is what I will attempt to do. We were very lucky to have booked this hotel. Upon arrival to the station, we were picked up right on time and shared our ride with a gentleman from France. He told us many great things in addition to the fact that he had been coming here for years - little did we know that this one line would encompass our entire stay. The service here is on a whole other level. The moment we arrived we felt at home, and it almost felt like every employee was briefed on our arrival. The communication was excellent. They had a WhatsApp channel that responded within seconds to any question we had. The breakfast incredible, food was amazing, staff and service again amazing and so friendly - spend a week or two here and you’ll feel like you truly are from zermatt. Coming back to the breakfast … bread carving station. Fresh juices. Amazing cheeses. Fresh fruits. Smoked salmon. Cured meats. The best coffee. It’s simply fantastic. After a few days you notice that many families sit at the same tables every single day. We met a lovely German family who explained to us that their family had been coming here for decades, and that the owners themselves practically raised them when they were kids. They were nice enough to offer to give us a tour of the mountains, and that was a day we will always remember. When you come to a place like this. You feel the history. You feel the love, and you feel the energy which trickles down to the small little things. The owner comes by and says hello everyday, the waiters check in with you regularly, and you always feel welcome. You find yourself cleaning up your table at breakfast like it was your very own. Let me not skip over the spa. A place of serenity that is welcomed after a long day on the slopes. The saunas are great, the pool amazing, and the hot seats overlooking the Matterhorn are a delight. Next up! The proximity to the train is so great. Your feet will love you for it. Maybe a 5 minute walk? I don’t know how else to tell you, but this is the place to stay if you want great service, a great room, and to be greeted and treated with a smile every single day. It could just be a dream, but I’m leaving here hoping to also come back every year and ultimately with my family to enjoy this incredible town and this incredible hotel. Cheers to next year. Thank you for everything.

After a ton of research… decided on Swissflair and couldn’t have been happier!! The staff is so kind, the rooms are so clean and comfortable, and the food is great. The hotel is a 3 min walk from the main road on a more quiet street (better!), has a great jacuzzi and Sauna and a yummy breakfast as well. There’s a ski storage room and the front desk was very helpful making reservations for me. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great! It’s a quick 5 min taxi or 3 min walk to the free shuttle to get to the mtn. Couldn’t have been easier to ski and access the town. Overall, if you want clean, nice rooms, with a great location and friendly staff, this is the place for you! Loved my stay and will certainly be a returning guest

The service was very good, the staff who picked up the car ran twice and received us without any bit of impatience. The front-end glasses sister also helped us solve many practical problems and helped set the family's black-faced sheep (black-faced sheep service). The attitude is very bad, I won’t go.) The hotel hardware measures are good. The next day I came across a very fat front desk. The city tax list gave me direct garbage. I didn’t give me a very rude job. I was late for work. The breakfast started at 7:30. Because we had to catch the early glacier train, the breakfast staff was very touched by the service in advance. The other party was very happy and hoped that she would always be happy. The quality of the town's service staff is very poor, and both of them can meet hhhhh.

This hotel is the best one in my 12-day trip in Switzerland. The details of the hotel are very good. The minibar in the room is free, there is beer bubble water, etc. The room is large and can be used for extra beds. There are some hot foods outside, which are included in the room rate. It is a very careful hotel. There are many things to send, chocolate, special drinks, sweets, etc. Many details can reflect that this is a high-powered hotel, although the hotel is Half-mountain, but it does not affect travel at all. There is a hotel bus transfer to and from the train station, and the hotel has a direct elevator to the foot of the mountain. The elevator is the entrance to the rothorn, very good!

At eleven o'clock in the fast night, many hotels in Switzerland are not on duty at night. The hotel's door is closed, the door is affixed to the phone, the phone is in English, tell me the access code, how to check in after entering the door, the phone says I don't understand what I found. I suddenly found an envelope at the front desk, writing my name, taking the key to check in. The hotel waiter thought very thoughtfully. The next morning I found the service was very warm and the breakfast was good.

To be honest, my experience didnt start very well, from a phone call I made before I arrived there, inquiring about some information around booking etc, and their rate guarantee. It turned out that was an anomaly. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated extremely well, by All of the very attentive, responsive staff. Front desk staff was amazing and accommodating, Concierge was more helpful and went above and beyond to help and guide us throughout the stay. The ambiance in the evenings with Live Piano and Saxophone went extremely well with the bunch of snow and it all together formed an cocktail of awesomeness for me and my 11 year old daughtrer on our ski break. Thank you Mont Cervin and especially, Valentina, Lissette at the front desk and Rimona at the Concierege for a lovely week!

The best hotel in Switzerland, the wooden house, the room is very large, there is a sofa, a coffee table, a refrigerator, which is equivalent to four stars in China. It is also OK to have a bed with a 5-year-old child. You can see the snow-capped mountains on the balcony with a recliner. Breakfast for children is free, and it is awesome. Many hotels in Switzerland are charged, which is very suitable for friends with children. A little distance from the train station, but the town is not big, it is just a walk, and the hotel is very close to the Matterhorn Museum. European breakfast is relatively simple, mainly bread, milk, fruit juice and so on. The picture is the Matterhorn to the river near the hotel.

We just had 5 very nice days at the Pollux. It's a very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the train stations and fairly close to the fernicular and cable cars to a variety of different mountain destinations. It's in the heart of the town centre too so you have lots of facilities on the doorstep. We had French doors opening up on to a private balcony with 180 degree views, including a very limited view of the Matterhorn to the side. We were street side and the noise from the street was quite loud but once we'd closed the French doors we couldn't hear a thing, so we slept really well. The decor is all a bit dated but it's fairly typical for an alpine hotel and certainly didn't feel scruffy in any way. We didn't bother with the breakfast (we are GF so it's often/usually a problem) and we didn't use the hotel bar either so can't comment on those. The hotel could be improved by providing Nespresso machines and an iron/ironing board but that's all that was missing really. We had a very good stay.

What an amazing experience! In planning our Swiss Holiday, Hotel Bellerive made it very easy with prompt email responses back with answers to all the questions I had! I spent about three days at The Omnia and couldn't have asked for a better hotel. I highly recommend the Omnia Tower Suite, it's very spacious and offers an incredible view of Zermatt along with some cool amenities like a fireplace and powerful telescope. The restaurant has a great vegetarian-focused menu but also offers some classic dishes like raclette and Wiener schnitzel—I highly recommend trying the latter, it was my favorite dish on the menu, while I also enjoyed the Tagliolini with truffle. Drinks-wise, there's a great selection of grappa, Schnapps, and spirits sourced from all across the globe. The hotel is in a good location, opposite the train station, and there is a red line in the town and a green line bus. The hotel belongs to the self-service hostel hostel, which has a large kitchen and dining room. The kitchen utensils are very complete, and the pots and pans are connected to the rice cooker. Because Swiss prices are really expensive, we are all eating food in the kitchen by COOP. Many of the guests who have stayed here for a few days are buying ingredients in a box and affixing their names. I really like this kind of hostel. Friends from all corners of the country gather here to be self-sufficient. Use the endless ingredients to stay there for the people you need.

We lived on the last day of National Day for about 900 RMB, which is a price increase than usual. It's far from the train station. It feels farther to push a baggage. It can be reached in 15 minutes. On the high street of the town, there are McDonald's and Chinese restaurant Huayuan next to it. The hotel is small, the rooms are medium in size, the bathrooms are large and clean. The kettle needs to go to the front desk. The Swiss hotels are very clean. If you don't consider the snow mountain landscape, it is more convenient to live here, and the price is cheaper than our previous days.

Hotel is very conveniently located, just about 150 meters from the Zermatt train station, and the Gornegrat station. It is right on the main street, close to ***y shops and restaurants. Coop supermarket is available in the mall opposite the train station. Room size is not large, but adequate, and beds are quite comfortable. Amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste and water flask are not provided, but slippers and mineral waters are available. Restaurant at the ground floor is quite well decorated. Breakfast has adequate varieties, but should not expect the same as the hotels in mainland China. Special compliment to a the elderly gentlemen at the reception, who was very kind and friendly during the stay, and personally led me to find the Chinese restaurant just nearby, and even show the way to taking the Glacier Express train.

I arrived in a very modern reception with a charming ground and a cozy mountain atmosphere. Then we stay in a junior suite (I advise you to all jacuzzi bites) one metre from your bed you can go directly into a great jacuzzi ideal for couples. We had taken the romantic package (flacon of champagne, roses and very good chocolate fresh beans!) Breakfast is abundant, eggs, lamb, very good coffee, fresh fruits, even vegetarian options, which was good for my wife. The breakfast was served, we had two receptionists, both of them welcomed, laughing and served. We loved our stay at Albatros and thank all those who served us, helped us etc ... We will return to it and advise this accommodation!
