Struttura un po' vecchiotta ma efficiente . La camera era molto ampia (davvero enorme) , con balcone . No minibar e no kit per il bagno ; mi è stata fornita sono una mini soap bar (quindi se prenotate vi consiglio di portare i vostri campioncini) . La colazione è discreta . Facendo un bilancino qualità prezzo non posso assolutamente dire nulla , anzi . Unica pecca che mi ha davvero fatta rimanere parecchio male , nonostante io non sia una persona ”schifettosa” , è stato il water in cui ho ahimè trovato piccoli residui di escrementi (facilmente rimovibili con lo spazzolone) . Questo per me, come per chiunque del resto, indice di pulizia non approfondita ed efficiente !

Having stayed in several hotels in the area (Dolmen, Seaview, Topaz), I decided to go for the closest to the action for my latest trip. I believe the Primera Hotel has been undergoing upgrades since COVID. The results of these are visible in some areas and in others there is work to be done. All the staff were superb. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. I didn't catch many names, but Njelli??Nellie?? on reception, Clayton night reception, were great. Housekeeping were also polite and very friendly. The room, on the second floor, was quite large and comfortable. The furniture (wardrobes, drawers, bedside cabinets and fridge all looked brand new. The bed was two fairly basic metal frames with relatively poor mattresses, which had very stiff edges so there was no chance of a spread across the two singles to treat as a double bed. The bathroom was again a good size and was clean with what looked like fairly new tiling. The only downside of the bathroom was the ridiculous shower cubicle with doors that don't roll on the runners but must be almost picked up and put into place when showering. The roof terrace again looks as though it has been recently renovated and was a really surprising treat. Wonderfully clean and tidy. Plenty of loungers and a pool that is big enough to have a cooling dip when the sun gets a little hot. A TV plays tranquil music and WC/changing facilities were a nice touch. I would guess there is enough space for a small bar or a pool table up there if the owners were so inclined. I watched the Saturday of the Malta airshow display with a great view over St. Pauls bay. Such a shame that the Sunday was canceled due to the high winds. The location can not be beaten. So many bars and restaurants are within a few minutes (in some cases seconds) walk. Less than a hundred yards to the promenade beach and swimming. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, on the understanding that The Primera is not perfect but I believe they are working to get there. I for one will be back. Many thanks

Having read the reviews we came with very low expectations and were absolutely blown away. The staff cannot do enough to make sure your stay is perfect. The breakfast was a good selection. Cold and hot breakfast and there was always something our one year old was happy to munch down. We had dinner there one evening again food the food delicious. Shout out to the chef who made the cauliflower soup. Our room was huge. Cleaned daily to an excellent standard. We had a lovely balcony. We used the pool on the last day (inside) and we wish we had discovered it earlier. Warm, clean and great for a dip with the family.

I booked a small room but gave me an oversized room. At that time, it was difficult to renovate and turn corners. Hot water pressure is enough, the scenery outside the window is invincible, there is a cat in the lobby, fun!

Lovely hotel. Great location. Wifi is fast. Rooms cleaned daily. Good front desk. Breakfast good and varied every day. Can't really complain about anything. Would go for seaview room next time. Stayed for 2 weeks in a Studio in block A number 103 looking directly down the street to the large supermarket on the left and melody on the right. Arrived at 11am and the flat was ready, no waiting till 2 o'clock like most places. Flat was excellent, no cockroaches,no noise, no smell of drugs,no people loitering etc etc I had read reviews and the vast majority of travellers like it. Staff friendly. Pool clean but I am out all the time so did not use. Cooking easy for me. Plenty hot water all the time. I could go on but what I would not do is tell people not to come here as I would have no problems about staying here again. The best factor of all was the price. I have a holiday booked next month in Bugibba but for what I paid with Chevron I could not say no. I was lucky too sun out every day!!

We stayed at the DB hotel for 5 nights and in general really enjoyed the stay. There is a main pool and a rooftop pool which was really nice. The layout of the hotel is done really well and all external areas were clean and tidy. Food at the hotel was actually very impressive, all inclusives can sometimes be samey but the food was always hot and of good quality. The restaurants are all really enjoyable, particularly the Salia Italian restaurant. The Latin American restaurant to be honest is pointless, it’s in the main restaurant separated by a divider and the food was ok, nothing special. The hotel would be better suited to open the whole space and have themed nights instead. The main restaurant was a bit bland in appearance and there were rows and rows of long tables but only a few tables of 2 crammed in together. We saw individuals or couples sat on tables of 10+ because there were no smaller ones available which is a bit of a shame. The only small gripe was although the hotel was mainly clean, each time our room was cleaned there seemed to be stains on the sheets. We had to ask a few times for these to be changed on different occasions and when calling reception, we didn’t even get an apology about this which was disappointing. The tiles in the bathroom and shower area seems slightly worn and it would be some finishing touches to make the hotel a really great one. The lifts are a joke as per most comments, we were on the 5th floor and took the stairs but a lot of guests were a lot older than we were and wouldn’t be able to do this, so just revert the lifts to normal ones to prevent the clogging of the lift queue. We would return to the hotel and enjoyed our stay and first trip to Malta, but a few tweaks would really make the hotel brilliant.

Pro The location is super. Bus stop just a few meters away, also testarants and ports with many offers for boat tours.. Nightlife walking accessible. Bus station nearby with extensive range offer. Supermarket, minimarkets and other shops. Equipment, and comfort: The beds - mattresses, kiss, ceilings - are very comfortable.. Air conditioning works well and quiet, noise-smooth doors, darkness hangs, coffee and tea preparation, small refrigerator, smart TV, not bright. The view of the pool on the roof is very beautiful. Breakfast is extensive and certainly something for every taste. There are other restaurants in the house to which I can't say anything. The saunas and the indoor pool are a nice extra. The fitness room is large and equipped with many modern devices. Spa offers are available. All rooms have a balcony. Neighbors have not heard, rooms seem not bright. We experienced the service staff very friendly and helpful. Sustainability: There is only 1 towel per person (which can always be exchanged, instead of countless for the roof pool There are no contrasts, only small things. Matraces for large people could be a little longer. The double bed is single beds moved together. Accordingly, with visitor ridges. Sustainability: in the room the small individual packs for coffee, at breakfast the small individual packs for butter, the towels for the roof terrace could be longer. What was really very bad was the noise scenes on the balcony, which was therefore not really useful. Noise came from electrical aggregate or a mega-air conditioning from the house. The view of the side room had side sea view, but also a view of the neighborhood (3rd floor) that reminded a building site. Therefore the offer price for the double room with breakfast of €72 was also justified.

What I liked the most was something that does not appear in the photos (I think) and it is the pool on the terrace on the 11th floor. Magnificent. The waiters are very friendly and attend to you at all times. The receptionists left a lot to be desired. Very good and complete breakfast. The downside that I put is that the Cafe is machine-made and quite ugly. everything else great The room was fine, but I would have liked that since the hotel is under construction, they would lower the price or make an offer since it smelled of paint and humidity. The cleanliness didn't convince me but I guess it's because of the renovations they were doing.

My friend and I were guests at the Bora Bora hotel from the 16th June 2022 until the 20th June 2022 for the DLT MALTA event. Upon arrival we were greeted by a queue outside that lead onto the street. Once at the desk we were told that we needed to pay an ”echo charge” for the duration of our stay. When they took the payment, we were told that our room was not ready as cleaning was being underdone, but little did we know that our rooms would not be ready for a further 6 hours. We were hot, dehydrated and exhausted. We missed out on over half of our day due to the un-helpful reception staff negligence. I suffer from low blood pressure and I needed to rest for a while, but instead I was completely ignored by the curly, dark haired receptionist despite asking for pain killers for my migraine due to the stress that was caused by the hotel. It took me having to wait outside of our room until the cleaner came to open the door for me. When the cleaner arrived she was livid at the fact that our room had been ready for several hours but the reception staff downstairs were communicating something different. The wait time became so bad that a member of staff from Pollen decided to offer us his room just so that we could lay our heads for a short while. I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life on holiday and I will be making a formal complaint on every single platform that I can about my experience at Bora Bora hotel. Please may I add that we were also charged for ice when we requested it at the hotel and when we asked for more tea bags, we were told that we were to use the ones that were given to us on the first day of arrival. Throughout my entire stay at this hotel, I did not feel like I was on holiday.
