I spent a total of 30 days at the Pestana São Tomé from May - July 2024 and I throughly enjoyed my stay. I was there on a 2 part business trip, both of which got extended, and the hotel was so incredibly accommodating. Pedro and Vania at the front desk always greeted us by name and that alone made us feel very welcome. Everyone at the front desk really is very helpful with any issues I had. Real kudos go to Caroline Alexander for helping us throughout our stay. She helped get our rooms squared away, let us use the conference room for meetings, extended reservations, recommended many great excursions, and help coordinate breakfast when we had really early mornings. Caroline is amazing and really made the trip special. Hotel wise, it is well worth the money. They have amazing Friday night outdoor BBQs with all different types of foods, dancing, music, and I always looked forward to it. The bar also has a great menu (I had countless tosta mistas and club sandwiches) and the bartenders make a great caipirinha, rooms were spotless (amazing A/C), bathroom had good water pressure, and they have the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever had in a hotel. I would be happy to stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying on the island.
