Wouldn’t stay there again. Booked a stay for 4 days on my birthday week. I have been in Ibis Hotels in Lisbon before, but not in Alfragide. To my disappointment, beds were so small you had to be careful not to fall at night, bathroom seems to be made of plastic and last but not least, there was a hotel refurbishment in process, which means loads of noise early morning, dust, strong smells aaaand our window view close by a white paper. When I address this last one to the reception I was told that it was “to our privacy”. One of the days I tried to open the window to have fresh air, due the strong smell inside the room, and there was no ventilation as there was a paper closing our whole window. Oh and not to mention that cleaning staff touches guests stuff inside the room, so be careful. Luckly our lugagge with valuables was locked. I really don’t mind sharing my candies with anyone, but I feel a bit of attitude to find a box of chocolate half open, and then only the paper of candies on top of the dusty table. If you take, not a problem at all, but at least take the paper with you. Breakfast was good at least. So, in my opinion, not the best place to spend your birthday week and not the best place to stay at all. Will def choose another hotel next time. From$84
