We overnighted here in December 2021 and selected this hotel for a few reasons; it's location in respect to highways/shopping/eateries and that it was between a few medical facilities we had appts at. We have witnessed the growth of Eau Claire in the last 10 years and its expansion of medical facilities so it very much helps to have a larger selection of hotels in that area. This hotel is quite new, can be seen from the Hwy 53, is easy on/off. It actually is located between Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls proper. Room was quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Walk-in shower, with several built in shelves for toiletries. Large vanity with single sink. Coffee make provided, microwave, and refrigerator. Narrow closet for hanging items with ironing board/iron. Extensive TV selection. The rooms on back of hotel face a small parking area and hill - so there is no noise from the back side. Hotel self-serve breakfast was quite sufficient, especially considering COVID restrictions; including hot/fresh waffles/pancakes, sausage patties, oatmeal with fixings, cereals, yogurts, coffees, tea selection and juice selections. We experienced NO highway noise and in fact our overnight was very peaceful. On an additional note re breakfast: anyone with dietary restrictions should be pleased with what is offered. Small ”store” in lobby next to reception desk to purchase snack items/beverages.From$98

I booked this hotel with very low expectations as the rate was only $40. After a 15 hour day of driving from Regina, SK Canada, I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff. Although it is very much a no frills hotel, it more then served me well with a good nights sleep, friendly service and an excellent cup of coffee in the morning. This may not be the most ideal location for people expecting lots of amenities, however, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this location to a traveller just looking for a spot to catch some rest after a long day of driving.From$49

Negative feedback is because of how the charges were handled. A deer hit our car on the highway, totaling our vehicle and leaving my wife and I and our small beagle very shaken up. We checked in at 4am after being dropped off by a tow truck. The staff at the time were extremely generous and kind, and assured me that the cost of the room was $108. Cost was a concern, given the costs we were incurring due to the accident. The next morning the final bill was over 150. Taxes were added, which is understandable but should have been communicated, and there was a thirty dollar per fee added which I was never told about nor informed about prior to checking in. We could have found another pet friendly hotel in eau Claire. Then when I asked the front desk if there was anything that could be done, we were trying to save money weren’t told about the charge, I had signed a document confirming the 108 rate, and shared about the accident and situation, the front desk staff then just looked at me and blankly muttered that there was a deep cleaning fee. I understand a cleaning fee for animals but this should have been communicated clearly. We were also in the room for only about 6 hours total. Also I was disappointed with the lack of empathy and frankly, people skills, displayed by the front desk staff at around 9am on 5/29. The woman at the front desk at 4am that morning was far warmer, understanding, and effective. Although she should have fully explained the pet charge as well. While the room was clean and other amenities acceptable, I will think twice about booking at another best western.From$97

This is an ordinary motel. It was a good place for a good night of sleep. The breakfast is satisfactory. When I got into my room, the TV (Direct TV) would not work. The desk was able to get access to the Direct TV and it worked fine. If the price is right I would happily stay here again.From$76

We stayed here in 2020 and were really impressed with the value for the rate, so first choice on our stay this year.(2022) Rate was so reasonable, that we upgraded to fireplace hot tub room for not a lot of money.
