Only 2 minutes walk from the estuary, this is a traditional family bach has all the basics for a great time away! With a good sized and fully-fenced section your animals are welcome to a mini-break with you. The bach is very family-friendly, with books, magazines, board games and toys all available to use. Playgrounds, Four Square, dairy and fish and chip shops are all in easy walking distance.This is also a wonderful spot for a couple wanting some time to reconnect with walks along the beach, a coffee at the local cafe and some serious downtime from the hustle and bustle of city life.The bach has space for 10 people - two sets of bunks (one with a double), a queen-size bed, one single bed and two fold out couches.The house is only 90sqm so while it can sleep that many, it's best for those who are happy with intimacy with their family and friends :) Special conditions: This bach is a basic kiwi Bach that will take you back in time but please don't expect perfection! We'd hate for you to be disappointed. This is your get-away bach. You can get away from the bustle of your life, your stressful jobs and the noise. It's pretty darn quiet here. And at night the sky is dark so the stars shine. You can also get to experience the extra warmth and sunshine Foxton Beach has to offer. In winter you can snuggle under the colourful quilts, snooze in the comfy beds, and relish the heat from heaters in every room. In summer you can sit out on the veranda (in the shade, and out of the prevailing wind) to watch the world go by. Deck chairs are stored in the garage. Walk to the beach in five minutes or drive in one. It's a fabulous wide beach at low tide for short and long walks; awesome for swimming and boogie boarding when the surf patrol is out; and sliding down sand dunes when the water isn't warm enough for you.A full kitchen so you can cook for yourself if you want, a bread-maker to bake that fresh loaf for the morning, or just walk 50 metres to the Ocean Beach Eatery for whatever you fancy. A garage full of toys for the adults and kids (bikes (two adult, two children - 5/6 years and 7/8 years) and boogie boards, games), and reading books, magazines for young and old to while-away the hours. For infants there is a portacot (and sheets/blankets).Sit out on the verandah to take in the views of the park and swings across the road. Go tadpoling or duck feeding; BMXing or cycle-skills riding; forest or beach walking; tennis, skate-boarding or scooting: All less than five minutes walk away. There is no TV but there is free WIFI. There is good cellphone coverage in Foxton Beach.Special conditions: Back section is fully fenced. Smoking outside only please. Pets on request. Well set up for couples and families alike. Just to be clear, there is no TV. No long term rentals, prices as indicated. There is a security camera facing to the front section of the property.It has a very comfortable layout for two adults and two-three children; or four adults. Unlimited fibre broadband. Kitchen fitted out completely to accommodate home cooking if you wish. Huge flat sunny front and back sections in a quiet cul de sac. Section and house maintain all day sun. The large back yard and a range of children toys are available including sand toys, puzzles, toy basket and kids books supplied. Located 200 meters from local cafe open every day from breakfast to dinner, or use the really popular local fish and chip shop!! Only minutes to Foxton Reserve, Playground, 3 Tennis Courts and Skate Park - Great for keeping kids entertained - Nice and quiet flat cul de sac for riding bikes, walking, going to feed the ducks. Estuary and Boat Club nearby - Suitable for boating - Beach is permitted for driving on. Two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other with a double bed, and a sleepout with two single beds. Modern bathroom and all new furniture. DVD library available for the rainy days and bodyboards for when you hit the beach. Two outdoor living areas with a BBQ, Pizza Oven and a great Spa Pool! Fully fenced section with secure off street parking.Free wifi is available at the Bach. The house is on a rear section. It is sheltered from the wind and gets lots of natural sunlight. It is situated in a very handy location. Ocean Beach Eatery, a great cafe and bar, is located 150 metres along Signal Street. The beach itself can be accessed via a short walk up Trafalgar Street (350m) or via Ocean Beach Street (500m).
