We had a great overall stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and made the check-in process quick and easy, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel. The location was excellent and convenient to everything we needed.
The room was a good size with plenty of space to relax. The bed was extremely comfortable, and even the couch was cozy, which made our stay more enjoyable.
However, we did find a roach in the room, which was definitely concerning. Even though it was just one that we saw, it’s never something you expect or want to encounter during a hotel stay. Cleanliness is important, and I hope management takes additional pest control measures to prevent this from happening again.
The internet also did not work on the first day and wasn’t up and running until the following night, which was inconvenient.
The ice room was very sketchy and did not seem well-maintained, and the microwave in was not working properly and appeared a bit dirty. These smaller maintenance issues added up and made the stay less comfortable than it could have been.
Unfortunately, we have not yet received our damage deposit back, which has been disappointing. We are hoping this will be resolved promptly.
I would also recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, as the ones provided left our hair feeling very dry.

In general this hotel is acceptable for the price range and consider how old this property is. There are two main complains about this hotel is the sound insulation and safety. Basically we heard all the noise from the hallway including next door who open and close the door, and shower, etc.. In addition, the gap of hotel room door between the bottom of the door and floor is big. While we stayed there, we concerned if someone could use tools to open our room door thru that gap.FromUS$143

The carpet in the room was not very clean, it should have been cleaned for a long time. The bed was not bad and I slept very well. The twin room layout is not the best. The sofa and writing desk occupy space in the innermost part of the room, there is no scenery outside, and it is divided into the direction of the parking garage. The sink is together with the room. The toilet is used for toilet and bathtub/shower (bathing will make a very strange sound). The sound insulation of the door is not very good. The sound of footsteps in the corridor is very clear. The occupancy rate of the hotel during the summer vacation is particularly high, and it takes a long time to check in. Mainly because of the ticket to the water park, the children are very happy. The parking space is very full. Self-service parking is also charged, about 35 knives a day. The housekeeping was excellent every day. Most of staff at the front desk were very friendly. If you rent a car, you can arrive from LAX Airport in less than an hour without stress. However, the hotel parking fee cost $ 25 per day, and I realized the high price of Los Angeles. Check-in was super easy; just a quick registration and left the deposit, and check-out was just as simple. Left the room card in the room, closed the door, and done. The deposit refund was super fast too.
The room was also super clean. The gentleman cleaned every day and was super friendly; you'd see him around the property all day. So if you had questions, you'd get help. The bed was made daily, the floor was mopped, and the bathroom was clean every day with fresh towels and toilet paper always available, as well as shampoo and hand soap.
From now on, whenever I'm in Garden Grove, I'll be checking in there. Everything was perfect (room 231). The location is a 5-minute walk to Jack in the Box and supermarkets, gas stations, etc.
Everything was great and perfect. Please keep up the good work.
