The hotels amenities are good and the M club lounge is a nice to have if u book the lounge access.

Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates).
Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information.
Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean!
I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.From$99

I come back over and over because I love this Hotel so much. The gym is the best gym in Kathmandu. The view from the pool and the Nylgiri Restaurant is spectactular. Radisson is a top notch hotel with a good location near the tourist district and close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast is expansive with everything from fruit to meats and cheeses, but it is a bit expensive to include it in your room plan. The room is very comfortable with a nice bed and linens. My only suggestion would be to take a second look in the tub/shower. There is mold in the tile grout lines and in the nonslip mat.From$77

The rooms were clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a much appreciated/needed balcony for drying the soaking clothes after our rainy hike. The service was quick and friendly, starting with the very nice security guard at the gate and ending with the front desk employees who were efficient and polite. The only real downside was that the hot water wasn't really working well at all in the shower, which was a bit of an issue considering I was in dire need of a good shower after my hike. But overall, a great value for anyone looking to stay in downtown Kathmandu in a convenient location!From$25

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel.
The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good.
The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us.
Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived.
Finally the food upexpectedly delicious.
I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel.

The room and area was good, but I experienced a scam provided by the receptionist.
I have consulted the tour advice with the reception, the guy provided me an excellent two-day rafting package that called by a tourist agent.
In the tour, that was a disaster, the tour only half-day with 1/3 distance of his presented tour.
The cost he charged me is almost 5 times of the normal price in internet. I would prefer that should be a very special tour and different from I found in internet.
That was totally scam and waste my time and money, it was extremely affect my plan and mood. I would report this experience to the concerned parties. It really a shame of Nepalese.From$28

A fantastic hotel with beautiful architecture and wooden detailing. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Free yoga in the morning on the rooftop and a walking tour is provided upon request. The rooms are large with lots of light. The bathroom is functional with good water pressure. For winter, an electric blanket, portable heater and hot water bottles are supplied. Delicious and well priced breakfast. Amazing value for money.From$40

Osho Home is not a luxury hotel, but they are trying their best to make your stay comfortable. I got a nice room with a sitting area, a kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and--what important in Nepal--water was really hot and I had not to wait for it as it often happens. The location of the hotel is perfect: it's in Thamel but not on a busy street. So, everything is easily accessible but no noise in the room.From$13

Thanks to the hotel manager Raj, he always invited me to have a coffee chat, 3 minutes walk to find the Chinese restaurant, a minute walk to the market to buy all kinds of life needs and souvenirs. If you want to live in Tamil district but want to find peace in a quiet corner next to the bustling street, I recommend the Mother House Hotel. 🙏🏼

However, I did experience a major disturbance during the night due to construction work happening around midnight. It woke me up, and I had to call twice before the noise finally stopped. For future guests, I strongly suggest ensuring that no construction or maintenance work is carried out during sleeping hours, especially when guests are in adjacent rooms.
Aside from this incident, everything else was excellent, and I would still consider staying here again.

The only small downside was that there were ants and small flying bugs in the kitchen that also were on the bed. Everything else was very clean and tidy! I would highly recommend this place to stay and the service was amazing! The reception staff always greeted us and let us store our bags there for the day as we had a late flight.

Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb.
Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong.
Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. I will certainly choose you again and again every time I come back to this unique Kathmandu I learned to love.

The best is not only the outlook of it, the hospitality is something that counts, the doorbell would run to help us when we had luggages to carry, with warm smiling face, those staff that serve us breakfast was very helpful, they made us like we were at home. The front desk was good too, and the manager was great, he was helpful to all our needs, and more important, not practical at all!
We were there for 3 visits, so we had tried 6 different rooms in this trip, all of them were good without complaint. We highly recomend this new hotel.

It took just 15 minutes to get Darshan from this hotel. We walked barefoot directly from the hotel to the temple as the entrance of the temple is just few steps from the hotel. Whenever we asked for towel, they said towels not available, went for laundry! How come hotel’s don’t have reserve or additional basic things required for daily basis. We stayed on 4th floor, if you are young and can climb stairs 3-4 days then ok, if not then stay on 1st two floors as there is no elevator at hotel.

The manager of the hotel, the kitchen staff as well as all other staff are very helpful and courteous. The taste of the food at their restaurant is really amazing. The kitchen staff catered to all our requests for customisation in the food. I highly appreciate their special attention to our requests.
The managers - helped us for taxi booking, local sightseeing, all other guidance.
I highly recommend hotel Malati for budget travellers. We paid NPR 3000 including breakfast in the month of December 2024.
It was a fully satisfactory stay.

|1.42km from city centerI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

Cuando seleccionamos el hotel, se indicaba que el traslado al aeropuerto era gratuito, lo cual fue una de las razones por las que decidimos hospedarnos allí. Sin embargo, a pesar de haber comunicado nuestra intención de utilizar este servicio tanto al hacer la reserva como tres días antes de nuestra llegada, nos informaron que había un cargo adicional para el traslado.
Afortunadamente, pudimos solucionar el problema a través de la página web donde hicimos la reserva, pero me preocupa que esta información aún esté disponible en su sitio. Si el hotel sigue anunciando el traslado al aeropuerto como gratuito, o lo cambian o están engañando a los clientes, lo cual no es aceptable.
Además, para añadir un toque gracioso a la situación: cuando nos marchamos del hotel y tomamos un taxi, ¡resultó que el precio era realmente la mitad de lo que habíamos pagado por el servicio del hotel! Así que si decides irte en taxi, ¡puedes ahorrar unos buenos dólares!
Por otro lado, las instalaciones del hotel son buenas y las habitaciones están bien. El desayuno fue excelente, con una variedad de opciones al estilo occidental e indio. La piscina en la azotea tiene un gran potencial con hermosas vistas de la ciudad, aunque necesita más atención y cuidado debido al polvo en la zona.
En resumen, recomendaría el hotel Mulberry por su buena ubicación y desayuno, pero sugiero que aclaren mejor la información sobre los traslados al aeropuerto para evitar confusiones futuras. ¡Y no duden en tomar un taxi al aeropuerto para ahorrar unos billetes!”

There is a terrace to chill out on the 6th floor. A doable fitness gym and spa is available on the 7th floor. Lift is accessible from 1st to 6th floor.
Room is nice with fridge. Iron and ironing board can be requested.
Simple breakfast. It could be better tasting with different variety everyday.
Extra water is chargeable at 50 rupees per bottle.
We stayed on the 2nd floor and cockroach was found on the 2nd day the the toilet. Thankfully we managed to catch it.

The room and bathroom was neat and clean. 🔹in case if food is not available in the hotel you can just outside at corner there is a small restaurant they can deliver the food in your room.
