I had the Eggs Benedict however it LACKED ANY FLAVOUR.

Positives:
＞ Beautifully designed - the outward appearance of the hotel is quite spectacular and is very well decorated.
＞ Comfortable rooms - the beds are large and comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions and the rooms have plenty of places to sit.
＞ Room size - rooms are large and feel spacious.
＞ Cleanliness - The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas.
＞ Staff - Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
＞ Location - the location is ideal for walkability to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Negatives:
＞ Events - The hotel also hosts events which can be very loud and go on late into the night.
＞ Doors/soundproofing - We noticed that there was a significant gap in our door which meant that it wasn't particularly soundproof and we were kept awake most of the night (until 2am) by other guests outside our room.
＞ Location - although I have stated the positives about the location above, the negatives are that the hotel is in close proximity to some bar with live music or karaoke which is incredibly loud and can go on very late into the night. Both the noise from the guests at this hotel and the event down the road was very significant and kept us awake late into the night.
＞ Breakfast - Breakfast is served cold. Although they have the equipment to keep the food warm, for some reason they choose not to. Unless you are lucky enough to catch something as soon as it is placed in the container it will go cold quickly. Eggs, bacon, fried rice, local dishes etc are all cold by the time you get them which is not common for Thai hotels and also very disappointing.
Comments for the hotel:
＞ Doors - please ensure all doors do not have gaps in between. This can be done easily with some rubber lining on the door frame. This would increase the soundproofing of the room dramatically.
＞ Noise - I understand that the hotel cannot control the bar down the street which plays loud music all night but it does have control over its own events and its own guests. There should be strict rules about drunk guests making noise late into the night and knocking on doors. Nowhere in the rules does it state ”quiet hours” which I believe it should. I understand that events at the hotel serve as a large source of the hotel's income, but there's no need to neglect other guests who stay there.
＞ Breakfast - use the equipment you already own properly and keep the breakfast food hot. I do not know any Thai people who enjoy cold food and keeping the food warm would increase the quality of the breakfast dramatically. Despite being a small cafe, the breakfast has quite a variety and the flavour is good but the temperature of the food really ruins the breakfast.From$31

The hotel is great! The pool is big, there is a sauna. The rooms are clean. There is a good bar/cafe nearby. 7-eleven, Amazon Cafe - also nearby.
If you have decided to visit this area, then I recommend the hotel. Endless coastline, clean sea, very few people. Only on weekends do Thais come to relax: they have picnics on the beach and visit numerous cafes with fresh seafood. In general, for those who are tired of noisy and crowded Pattaya and have the strength and opportunity to get here - it is worth a visit.
Twice a day a small bus runs to/from Bangkok (the journey takes about 5 hours)From$59

This hotel was in a great location, great service and awesome atmosphere! We even booked another night.
The hotel has two swimming pools, a decent restaurant as well as beach access. They also offer scooter rentals, as the hotel is located far from any major areas of civilisation(closest 7/11 is about 4kms away), a scooter is very useful to get around and affordable.
A word or caution though: The entire coastline on arrival was filthy, and we thought it was to be the case for the whole holiday, while the hotel made efforts to clear trash washing ashore it's kind of futile because there's so much in the water. This isn't the hotels fault and I'm led to believe it's a huge issue on this coast line. However, I am very happy to say on day 2 the water cleared up completely and was as clear as the ocean around Ko Samet!
Overall this hotel is a great choice for a few days of quiet beach relaxation.
We took a bus from Bangkok to ban phe then got a grab ( I never had issues using grab here or finding a car, as other travellers warned me would be the case)

This might be a perfect place for grandparents, located in the middle of nowhere, there are no activities, no entertainment, not even music. Was the most boring place I’ve ever been. Is very clean and the pools are nice, food is also delicious. The front desk wasn’t as nice and welcoming as other places we’ve been in Thailand, but that’s not a big issue.
Oh, also didn’t like the fact we had to pay 100baht for the laundry bag. First time in my life I wasn’t allowed to take the laundry bag. Incredible hahaFrom$59

But the aunt who looks at him changed When the night is spreading a lot of lizards, we have entered the room as well. We are quite serious because there are young children. Maybe it can't control all. But if you let it go, the lizard may not just enter the room.

There are gazebos on the beach to hide from the sun. The room is spacious, everything you need is there - a comfortable bed, hot water, a kettle, a balcony overlooking the sea and the garden. We did not take breakfast. Of the disadvantages - from time to time the sea brings heaps of plastic garbage to the shore, which no one is in a hurry to clean up

We walked along the beach almost everyday and had some of the most beautiful sunsets as well! The staff were so kind and caring, always checking on us. Even though the waters were a little rough at times, we got some swimming in! Highly recommended!

The location is very good, there is a sea next to the hotel, there is a swimming pool next to the hotel.
But what I would like to recommend is
- The children's pool is not clean because tree fragments fall on it all the time, there is a lot of dust in the pool.
- The walkway in the villa area has trees with tree fragments that have become splinters, causing both children and adults to poke their feet.
- The room is not very clean, the bathroom smells.
- The breakfast is not very varied.
- Finally, before leaving, a small centipede came and hid in the suitcase, which my child was playing there. Luckily, my child did not catch it.
I feel that the room rate I paid is not worth it.

Despite being a small cafe, the breakfast has quite a variety and the flavour is good but the temperature of the food really ruins the breakfast.

|13.71km from city centerWe had an amazing stay! The camp was brand new and very clean. The beach sand was so soft! We want to thank Joey, the wonderful and attentive Camp Cayla staff who made our stay great. As soon as we arrived he arranged everything according to what we liked. He asked us if we wanted to rent a scooter which we choose to do and he organised everything! In the middle of the night we didn’t know how to turn the aircon off (we were holding it too far away) and he was at our door within a few minutes and showed us how to turn it off. He was always on-site and took care of us well! The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There were some small ants but that’s expected. We had insect spray so it was fine.
Negatives: The property is not fenced so there lots of dogs that come very close, this maybe an issue for people that have a fear of dogs or if there’s small children playing around. The bar/ restaurant/ reception area is not ready yet, there is no where to buy food close by.

The beach is also very beautiful with a lot of lovely peacocks.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Actually we want to relax here as I read a lot of reviews many people say the island was very beautiful and quiet not busy but we had such bad luck. The other group makes noise all the time too loud. Staff apologies about it.
I like everything here since I took the boat until I went back. Accept at that time I went too busy and annoyed very much.
