Went in mid-November. It's almost winter. The weather is not very good either. The hotel and surroundings are quite deserted. Booked a hotel shuttle for 20 people for 4 persons per car. Room facilities were ok. Not too delicate. Just make it up. Looks clean. Not many breakfast options. But can eat enough. Walk to town and windmill for about 15 minutes. But really. M. Island is not much fun. Although very close to the bus station. But just 2 buses to Paradise Beach. But we did not wait 10 minutes in advance. Locals say it may not have started. So the price is 15 Euro. No one on the beach was seawater. Is not fun. From$ 269

Exceptional, beautiful, faultless! We were absolutely blown away by the high standard of service, cleanliness and attention to detail of this stunning hotel. We stayed for 7 nights, bed and breakfast. Arrival: Upon arrival, we were greeted with a watermelon mocktail, a steamed hot cloth and small hand sanitiser bottle. Friendly staff gave us a map of the town and useful information about taxis and restaurants etc. before escorting us to our room; helping to carry our luggage. Room: The room was spotless, gorgeous decor of crisp white sheets with pops of colour in the rug and artwork. Posh coffee machine. Complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks. Luxury toiletries in the bathroom (which were regularly topped up/ replaced). Arrived at night time but waking up to fully take in our surroundings and sea view in the sunshine was amazing (which by the way, was a free upgrade from a garden room). The cleaning staff were brilliant, always friendly and replaced any towels when left on the floor. Facilities: Again, spotlessly clean walkways and communal areas. Contemporary reception/ lobby area with many comfy seating areas. The pool area was gorgeous, fresh towel station for whenever yours got too soggy. Super comfortable sun beds with thick double beds over the edge of the pool. Staff regularly walk around to ask if you’d like a drink or food. Chilled house music in the background. If you bought spirits, you’d get complimentary nuts and crisps too. Breakfast: 5* is an understatement. I’ve previously stayed in 5* Riu hotels and Kyma knocks them out the park. As it’s much smaller than massive Riu hotels, the attention to detail and service is amazing. The options were amazing including vegetarian and vegan options. The yoghurt and granola station was the best I’ve experienced out of about six 5* Greek hotels I’ve been to before. Fresh coffee and juice straight to your table as well as Prosecco daily!!! We thought it might have been for special guests or someone with a birthday, nope. All guests. Every morning! We would take our glass of Prosecco after breakfast to the shaded lounge area with sofas by the pool to relax. Other: All staff were so helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful back massage one afternoon and we shared a couple’s experience of the spa dipping in all 5 pools with different temperatures and oils. They even took us to the spa in a golf buggy to save us walking uphill. Worth every penny and will 100% return in future! From$ 168

Another amazing holiday from start to finish. Before arriving we spoke with Artemis who couldn’t have been more helpful. Front office manager Vana organised birthday treats which were very well received. Our room was kept immaculately clean by Neta, Marguerite and a team of wonderful women. Lastly Giannis looked after us by the pool and during lunches. All these people combined made for a fantastic trip. See you next year. From$ 162

My family and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and felt it was good value for money. Definitely recommend. The hotel has a lovely setting in the Calo Livadi bay in the more sheltered south of Mykonos island. The lovely sandy beach, with a selection of beach clubs, is only a short 5min walk away from the hotel. The hotel has beautiful views of the bay and of Naxos island in the distance. The hotel is 25min from Mykonos town and the airport and they offer transfers to both if pre-booked. The hotel is in walking distance to a couple of restaurants although there are very limited options in this area and guests would need a car or taxi to travel further afield for more choice. The hotel has a boutique and intimate feel and has a lovely pool with day beds and sun beds and a bar area serving drinks and snacks. The setting is a perfect place to chill and relax while listening to soft music in the background. The hotel provides towels for the pool and beach. The hotel also has a small SPA which we didn’t use so cannot comment on it and provides a small playground for young kids (no kids club). The service we received was attentive and polite from the staff working at reception to the staff working in the restaurant and pool bar. The dining space for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a nice open space overlooking the pool area and bay further beyond. Breakfast is a buffet style and offers guests a good choice of cooked and continental style breakfasts. Lunch can also be served by the pool. The lunch and dinner menus for me were quite limited and a little pricey for the type of dishes on offer. I would recommend expanding or diversifying the lunch and dinner menus to provide more variety. However, the food that was offered on the menu was of good quality. Wine selection was good and promoted Greek local wines as well. The rooms were lovely, spacious and bright. The bathroom had an amazing rain shower and fluffy towels and robes. The room we booked (sea view) had unbelievable views of the bay from a spacious terrace area with an outdoor sofa, table and chairs. The beds were comfy and pillows soft. The room came with two TVs for the lounge and bedroom areas and had international channels. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this part of Mykonos island. From$ 131

I truly don’t have enough positive things to say about this hotel. It’s a great hotel that is made exceptional by its staff. It really is one of those hotels where you feel like family when you leave and that is all because of the George’s. The “front desk” George was so sweet, the “pool/restaurant” George was so accommodating and always had a smile on his face. But the bartender George is who sets this hotel apart. I’ve never felt more welcomed by someone; we would just come to the bar to get a drink to spend time chatting with him. Hotel Tagoo: I hope you recognize what an asset you have here and do whatever you can to keep him! Besides the staff, the rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had such beautiful views of the sea. The entire hotel was beautiful and we truly felt like we were in paradise. It’s about a 10 minute walk down into town, and about a 20 minute walk back just because it is uphill. I thought we’d get annoyed by this but we came to enjoy the walk, especially after eating and drinking all day :) Most importantly with a hotel that’s slightly outside of town, we felt incredibly safe, even walking at night. I would have felt comfortable walking alone. Do not hesitate booking this hotel, we will without a doubt be back!!From$ 139

The hotel is great, has a pool, and watching the sea swim in the pool is great. The hotel is also very beautiful, there is a large terrace overlooking the sea, which is especially pleasant. Myself and a friend booked this hotel pretty last minute after seeing such great reviews. It certainly did not disappoint, every member of staff in this hotel is incredible!! They couldn’t be anymore helpful.
Special thanks to the reception staff who are available 24/7 via what’s app to book taxis arrange items needed to be brought to the room nothing is a problem, Extra special thanks to Costas the F&B manager. Not enough words can be said about this man he sincerely can not do enough for you, we have never experimented service like it.
We were so happy and enjoyed our stay that we extended by an extra night, the hotel gave us a cheaper rate than we could find online and also upgraded our room (our original room was incredible) to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony!!
This will be the only hotel we stay at in mykonos, couldn’t recommend enough we have told all our family, friends and colleagues the same.

This hotel has stunning views ,a great location on the hill just a short walk from town, very good service but the rooms are extraordinarily small.-They are definitely NOT suites in the way I am used to thinking Despite a very good and chilled vibe, my room felt like the cabin of a cruise ship even though I booked a junior suites “plus more”. My “suite” plus more room was very, very small, cramped and very boxy even though we went for a high category. The sink area is a hanging swing sink with no area to place toiletries. There was very little storage space for our clothing and suitcases making traversing the room difficult.I felt like I was in my college dorm room but the view and vibe was much better. I also was able to hear people in other rooms and our bathroom had a sewer smell at times. This hotel is good for a short stay if the size and amenities of the room are not that important. When I asked the staff if there was a larger room available I was told that mine was one of the largest and very much in demand. I felt that the room description and photos online were a bit misleading.-These are not what one would normally consider a suite If you don’t plan on spending much time in your room ,want a good location with great views, a beautiful pool atmosphere, chilled vibe and also enjoy cruise ship sized cabins, this might be the perfect place for you. Breakfast and beverage service were quite good. I have stayed in other hotels in Mykonos in the past and would consider them over this hotel in the future. Out of the many hotels I have stayed at in the Greek islands and Mykonos the room was not one of my favorites . Definitely not a five star hotel in my opinion. From$ 220

Very good hotel, location is just a few hundred meters from the pier, you can walk by yourself, the hotel can also pick up the pier for free, free pick-up. The rooms are small and refined. Breakfast is generally simpler. There is no elevator but someone is helping with the luggage. There is a lovely and beautiful open-air small swimming pool. From$ 133

This is probably a great resort for couples who want to relax by the pool and not leave the hotel. This resort is isolated on a hillside so you need a hire car or taxis (30 euro to town each way). The food in the restaurant is excellent with attentive service from staff. Our stay however wasn’t great. The 2 bedroom partial sea view suite should be renamed 2 bedroom obstructed sea view as it overlooks the pool and restaurant with everyone walking past. The two bedrooms, two bathrooms also doesn’t explain that one bathroom is off the lounge so you have to walk from the bedroom, through the lounge to the bathroom. We were offered another room but that was no different and had a view of just the restaurant plus steps down to the separate bathroom so was worse. The pictures on the website also make the pool area look bigger than it is with more shade - there are 3 covered beds and 3 parasols - that is it. Therefore there is a lack of shade around the pool. Taxis can be a little unreliable too - we had one that turned up 40 mins late and expected 4 large adults to get into a fiat 500 with the driver….all arranged by the hotel but this isn’t their fault. There are no English tv channels (except news) and Wi-Fi is also slow and intermittent so you can’t stream or watch anything online. I’m sure other people have had a great holiday here but I’m afraid for us it was one problem after another.m and was far from enjoyable. Hotel did offer us a free meal because they were fully booked so no other rooms available to offer us! We only ended up staying for the full week because there were no direct flights available to get home and no other hotels had availability. Overall really disappointing and poor choice for families. Really poor value too. Don’t book the prepaid non refundable rate and you just get told “we’re fully booked so nothing else we can do”….. From$ 253

This hotel is a classic gem, with a large open lobby anchored by a marble fireplace and a curvilinear bar. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Outside is classic Mykonos white with vibrant blue shutters. Inside is an immaculate expanse with a maze of halls and marble balustrades, a delightful country wine cellar style breakfast area (except it opens onto a garden terrace with glimpses of the blue blue sea). The buffet is tasty. (I wish that I didn’t require GF because the pastries were so tempting. My friends said they were good.) I had scrambled eggs and mushrooms, fruit and yogurt and lots of coffee Americano. Our room was a charming open suite with the bedroom separated by an arch. We had two small balconies with views of the sea and the famous windmills (ask for room 400). The bathroom was large, beautiful, and they provided wash cloths (far too rare in Greece)! We were shuttled from the ferry port and later to the airport by the hotel driver. The hotel is just next to the pedestrian only old town so you can ride right to the door with an inviting front porch with cushioned seating. We were delighted by the experience! From$ 145

Our room was spacious, clean ,fab bathroom ,balcony and the beds were so comfy .Also cleaned to a high standard every day . The 2 pools were so clear ,and sun loungers once again were comfy and lots of them . Views of the sea from the our room and sun terrace was stunning . Staff were always friendly and helpful both in the bar area and reception.. Breakfast was always beautiful and plenty to choose from ,in fact too spoilt for choice .. We ate lunch here every day .The menu and food was again very good and couldn’t fault a thing .. The veggie pizza was a favourite of ours ,even tho we aren’t veggies. It was like a Greek salad in a pizza .The Greek salads we did have were enormous.. We really didn’t want our holiday to end as we enjoyed it so much ..The resort too was fabulous ..Our favourite restaurant was NIKOS GALLOP and had the most gorgeous salt crusted sea bass (filleted at our table ).. We would highly recommend THE GEORGE and will definitely stay here again 💕

|7.32km from city centerIt's a very nice and relaxing place! My friend and I spent 5 nights there and we had a great experience. Konstantinos looked after us and was very prompt whenever we had questions and super friendly. It's a 15min walk to Kalo Livaldi, an excellent beach with a very beautiful, clear and warm water, a 20 min walk to Ano Mera, a little village where you can buy stuff. It's better if you rent a car as it would be easier to travel everywhere across the island. We didn't have a car. So, we spent the first part of the day on the beach and at 5:25, we were taking the bus to the old town. There is a bus that goes to the old town 3 times per day (10:25, 13:25, 17:25). You just need to wait for it in the front of the villa, on the other side of the road. We were taking iMove to go back to the villa during the night (it's similar to Uber). Konstantinos also shared an app with us with everything that was around us and we ordered food from Paprika and that was super good. I definitely recommend this place!

Mykonos
|6.58km from city centerWe recently stayed at Myconian Avaton and booked 6 room for 12 people. We did not get the rooms booked. They gave adult rooms to kids which we did not find out until the next day. Our travel agent called the manager Mario and told me he will be switching our rooms so please go see him. I called the front desk before I packed my luggage the next morning, they said to come to reception area by 11 AM and they will switch our rooms. We came down with all our luggage and they said to wait till the rooms were cleaned, we waited for an hour. After waiting for an hour, Mario refused to switch our rooms and said you should be happy your kids got the good rooms. I told him we were there to celebrate our anniversary and booked specific rooms. He argued with us in front of other guest which was so embarrassing. We did not want to waste anymore time (we spent all morning packing and coming down, waiting for an hour for him to give us the new rooms), so we decided to just stay in the same room. Next day, our ferry to Paros got cancelled and needed to either stay an extra night or look for air transfer. Front desk (Mario's wife) gave us a price of $2300 per helicopter with 6 passengers, and told us we will need to book two helicopters. It took us about half an hour to decide if we should stay or take the helicopter. Once we decided to take the helicopter, we went and asked Mario's wife to please go ahead and book it. She said let me check if it is still available. She got back to us after 15 minutes and said the helicopter she quoted us on is no longer available and the new cost will be $5600. At this point we were all tired and were desperate to get out so we said to go ahead and book it. She came back to us 15 minutes later and said our luggage will not fit in these two flights and we will have to hire a 3rd flight to transfer our luggage. We paid over $13,000 for 12 people to fly out during this emergency situation. We asked Mario to please at least provide complimentary meal since we all had missed our breakfast, he rudely said restaurant is open for lunch and we can pay and eat our meals there. We feel the entire experience could have been better even during the disaster if the staff was friendly. Mario and his wife hovered over their staff the entire time we were there and no one was able to provide any good customer service on their own without speaking to Mario and his wife. We also feel we were scammed for the helicopter transfer and they price gouged us. We all will be posting the reviews and our horrible experience and will be filling claims with local authorities for price gouging against Myconian Avaton and Superior Air.

Ask him anything and if he doesn't know the answer, he'll find out. This place was a real jewel - one we highly recommend and we hope to return to! Also, do not try to book anything on your own. They also offer transportation to almost every part of the island for a decent cost and to certain places it’s FREE! So far our experience here has been next to no other hotel. However, the hotel has spacious rooms , some with small refrigerator and amazing shared patio with breathtaking views. Bed are Comfortable and showers spacious. Some rooms have wall dryers as well. AC works great but the card to keep it cool auto-pops and turns it off, which is a big negative aspect since temperatures are EXTREME. Hotel has a bar with snacks and appetizers , no outsize food allowed in pool area. Breakfast included , shuts completely by 10:30 AM. Staff with the exception of bar attendant, Not So Friendly . I am very happy to have chosen Hippie Chic and have the adjacent Hippie Fish Restaurant with it. I could now write a novel with all details, but that would blow the frame! Now, short and short: everything perfect - we're coming back! Hotel sweet, pool beautiful, sea /Strand partly somewhat stone but by steps for very sensitive people very easy to enter, breakfast very fine, there is nothing missing, food generally super delicious, Mykonos corresponding prices, Restaurant/Lounge a dreamy place. I tell you, I have rights and they have been met!! Parties are celebrated, yes, until about 1:00 but everything is in the frame (and windows are super closed). Personal super nice - I just say how it sounds in the forest... These are my experiences of a dreamy holiday in Hippie Chic and I hope they will help you in the decision!!!

|0.96km from city centerThe hotel environment can be said to be the best hotel on Mykonos Island. The hotel can pick up and drop off guests for free, and also helped us to pick up the boat tickets. The rooms are a bit small and the scenery is beautiful. It is suitable for a hotel. It's about 15 minutes' walk from Mykonos town in the evening. The swimming pool passing through the hotel is the beach. The water in the swimming pool is sea water. It is suitable for couples and partners who come with children. Not expensive restaurant, beautiful scenery, need to book, if you do not book, wait a long time

|2.57km from city centerWhen we arrived I thought at first ok, the hotel is a lot more modest than it looks online, but the price was low for Mykonos so I thought ok fine we can make it work. The ”welcome drinks” were cheap apple juice and when we got to the room the comforter had yellow stains on and it looked like a cheap roadside motel more than a decent hotel room. So I was a bit upset but still thought we will not be that much in the room so let's just ha a laugh about it. We were so hot frm the ferry that we decided let's have a dip in the pool to start, turned out the hotel had no swimming pool available for the entire time of our stay, as had been promised/described in the information when I booked this hotel, the pool was broken. As it was 35 degrees celsius in Greece, I was really upset at this point and the hotel told me if we can find another hotel ASAP and leave the hotel within 15 minutes, they will give us a full refund no problem and they are sorry the pool is out of order. So I got another hotel for 3x the price and they called us a taxi and we left. I have not received any refund from the hotel as they promised, the hotel does not react to my calls or emails and they are just playing some ignoring game with me. At first they told me yes yes it is coming on the phone and nothing has happened despite several calls and emails. Then the manager is never present and he has no direct number. So I think they are just waiting for me to give up and accept they fooled me. I asked them to give me some kind of explanation and they just soud annoyed on the phone and tell me they cannot say anything that the manager will contact me and he never does nor is he ever there present when I call. I have NEVER in my life been treated or scammed like this, we were 4 people in the reception when they told me that everything is fine and we can take another hotel and it is no problem and they will refund me. So not only avoid this hotel because it is rubbish altogether, but also because the people are clearly total liars and criminals and have absolutely zero manners and human decency!!

|0.47km from city centerLovely hotel and location. Clean and spacious with garden or water views. Enjoy lunch poolside while watching the superyachts. Convenient that bus is across from entrance and stores/restaurants right on the water so you don’t have to be in Mykonos Town but it’s easy to get back and forth. Use the beach access for a quick dip or grab the water taxi to Paradise and other beaches. Helpful staff. Shout out to front desk (kind lady from Siberia, sorry I lost the note with your name!) and Maria in the restaurant.

|5.1km from city centerI cannot begin to describe how incredible this place is and how big of a disservice you would be doing yourself by not staying here. While the view is spectacular, the rooms gorgeous and clean and the facilities are top notch, the people who work here are some of the kindest and most professional I have encountered in 20+ years of traveling and that’s what separates Nimbus from all other hotels. Even though I like to stay at a different hotel when revisiting a city, I’ll be back at Nimbus because I truly cannot imagine it getting any better.

|1.9km from city centerThis is probably a great resort for couples who want to relax by the pool and not leave the hotel.

|0.46km from city centerStayed here for a week, the room was fantastic and the view was gorgeous too. The staff were very nice and helpful, couldn’t have done enough for you. The location was great, two minute walk from Mykonos town, over looking the old port from right outside the apartments. The maids even folded my girlfriends PJ’s everyday and left them on the bed for her. Would 100% recommend staying here, my friends and family are already looking at it for their next holiday

|0.09km from city centerI have travelled much of the world and Mykonos without a doubt is very expensive! This is a good option if you want to be in the heart of the town waking up to the dream like beautiful cobbled streets filled with blue and white! You can walk to restaurants, bars and shopping which are literally on your doorstep! There is also a bakery opposite. The smell of fresh bread each morning was heavenly. Rooms are small and somewhat dull. The bathroom was tiny. However, it was clean and fine to shower and sleep. Mykonos was very hot and despite using the air conditioning or maybe it was the location of my room, I did find it warm. I wasn't a fan of the pebbled floor in the bathroom. There seemed to be one girl there all the time at reception. I never saw anyone else apart from housekeeping. Limited rooms and you would not think this was a hotel walking past. More like a nice house! The girl was friendly and she will give you her mobile number so you can message her, should you have any issues. I would stay here again but this hotel is not for everyone as it is located in the heart of the town, the street noise does go on till the early hours! If you want to be near a beach or a more scenic setting, again I would suggest staying out of town. I was a solo traveller and for me personally this was fine to be near most things. I came more for the town, sightseeing and nightlife. Transport cannot come right up to the hotel so you will need to walk maybe 6 to 7 minutes from the main part where you will likely be dropped off by a taxi or bus or whatever. Not the easiest navigating cobbled paving in the heat but needs to be done! The even better part is there is no lift and then I had to carry a heavy suitcase upstairs to reach the hotel! Take this into account as well. I am not sure about a pool or other dining options. I literally came to sleep and shower each day after exploring. This was convenient for my needs and I could walk everywhere. As I said, I would recommend this hotel but it depends on your needs. If you want something with more luxury or peaceful then stay elsewhere but you are likely to pay a lot more.

|0.56km from city centerThe decoration and service are very good, because the opening is rushed, the details are not in place. It should be tried the restaurant, although there are not many people, but the chef's craftsmanship is first class. The most annoying thing is to go back to the hotel to go to the good Hanpo, to the hotel, half life.

|0.41km from city centerWe loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

|0.75km from city centerThis hotel has stunning views ,a great location on the hill just a short walk from town, very good service but the rooms are extraordinarily small.-They are definitely NOT suites in the way I am used to thinking Despite a very good and chilled vibe, my room felt like the cabin of a cruise ship even though I booked a junior suites “plus more”.

|0.05km from city centerA highly recommended hotel, located in a relatively fresh and artistic hotel in the central area of Mykonos. The tourism resources of Mykonos are not as good as Santorini, so the consumption here is still relatively high, and the flow of tourists is not as good as that of Santorini. Therefore, the prices are relatively high. This hotel is reasonably priced and the environmental facilities are very good. The front desk of the hotel is also very enthusiastic. The map circle is also fun to check in. If you go to other places to play by car and catch a plane, it will be arranged properly. Go to him Home is right

|0.71km from city centerWe recently stayed at the Madalena, April 15-17th. Sakis and Dora at the Front Desk were OUTSTANDING! Between setting up our transportation to/from the ferry, to helping us to rent a scooter to providing crucial information for my girlfriend where to seek medical attention, Sakis and Dora were there. The breakfast was outstanding as was the staff supporting the breakfast area. The views were spectacular and the hotel's location made it so easy to walk to the downtown area. Thanks for a great stay! Joe & Michelle

|0.2km from city centerThe hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, breakfast is very varied and tasty. The hotel offers free transfer to the hotel's property resort, where you can spend the day or take taxi boats to visit the other beaches of the region. But the best of all was the perfect service of the two Georges who worked at the hotel reception, who were very educated and careful, and who gave us the advice to take the tour to Delos, which was fascinating. Thank you to the Georges who represent the whole hospitality of the Greeks!
