We needed a place to stay overnight as we had a certification clinic we were attending at Nockamixon State Park the next morning. To find this hotel, I Googled hotels closest to Nockamixon State Park and an Econo Lodge came up that was beautiful with a swimming pool in the picture... just so you know it's nothing like the place in Quakertown. The building from the outside is very old with garbage in the parking lot.. it's a two-story rectangle building with parking lots on both sides with a first floor and second floor. The windows on the outside look like someone was prying at them and they're all bent crooked and rusty. When we walked inside the front desk was fine but as we turned to go to our room on the second floor we noticed the carpeted steps were very dirty grass covered all kinds of unidentified particles everywhere like they had not been swept in a week or month. That should have been the first clue what our room was going to be like. Our room was dirty the floor looking like it had not been cleaned from the previous guest and the spread on top of the bed was dirty with crusty blood spots and the blanket had some black streaks on it however the sheets appeared clean the bathroom had someone else's hair on the tub and on the floor. We used our choice hotel points toward this room and we're very disappointed. I regret not reading reviews because usually choice hotels are pretty nice but I have never stayed somewhere like this and will make sure I read all reviews next time. I wish I would have taken pictures!From$86
