Randwick Motel & Popular Hotels

Sydney Eastern Suburbs Randwick|0.46km from city center
I think the hotel's location is quite good. From the airport, you can transfer from T8 to T2 for direct access. Across from the hotel are pharmacies and supermarkets. The hotel's self-service laundry and dry cleaning service is fantastic, so you don't need to bring a lot of clothes. While it's a bit far from downtown Sydney, the trams and buses are easily accessible, making it a better option. The surrounding area is clean, and the beach is within walking distance. The only minor downside is that the birds wake up so early in the morning, even before my alarm clock, and their calls are a bit loud, but it's still a pleasure.

The location of the hotel is very good, with Coles and various restaurants next to it, and the L2 Randwick terminus is also nearby. The hotel is very close to Coogee Beach, which can be reached by bus in three stops. The room is quite spacious, with a washing machine (Haier), a rack for drying clothes and a balcony, which is quite spacious. The only drawback is that the hotel facilities are relatively old, the bathroom is small, and the bathing area is almost impossible to turn around.

Wonderful friendly kind staff were very helpful with practical advice of local services. Check in and check out was easy and smooth. Our room was clean with everything we needed including a shower with excellent water pressure, a smart tv and a balcony and serviced over our two night stay. The double blinds on the windows offered day and night adjustments. A comfortable place in an excellent position so close to the Prince of Wales Hospital and the Childrens Hospital, great for regional people. There is limited secure off road car parking. Short walking distance to the light rail, cafes, shopping, and restaurants.  We highly recommend The Blenheim in Randwick xxx

The room is very clean and has a small yard. The layout is quite good. There are just no disposable slippers. If necessary, you should prepare them yourself. Also, the room is not cleaned every day, and coffee and tea bags are not added every day. I guess they are afraid of disturbing customers. However, tell the front desk your requirements and they will clean and add them in time. I am not good at speaking, so we write a note to the front desk every day. In addition, the front desk is unmanned before 8 am and after 6 pm local time, which is very different from China. So be sure to bring the room card with you, in case you can't get in if you come back late. Overall, it is very good and cost-effective.

This is a very nice old building, with decent rooms quite convenient to UNSW and Coogee Beach, so there is good hiking and swimming in the immediate neighbourhood. The staff is really fantastic, so kudos on that front for sure. The major issue was with the wifi, which was only available in the lobby -- but the lobby becomes a very popular bar in the afternoon, so working down there is not really possible due to the noise. Making sure the rooms have a good connection would go a long way!

I stayed here for two nights while dropping my child off at UNSW, and it offered excellent value for money. The accommodation is a standalone, two-story building with charming local architectural features. We booked a queen-sized room which included a wash basin inside, though the bathroom was located just outside the door. It's a shared bathroom for a few rooms, but it was always kept very clean and hygienic. We had quite a bit of luggage, and an Uber from the airport cost $70. There are supermarkets and banks conveniently located nearby. The surrounding area is absolutely lovely, an upscale residential neighborhood filled with detached houses. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

A real hotel, the room rate is 175 USD, the accommodation is similar to the 7 Days Inn in China. Although the surrounding environment is quiet and clean. But the room is 10 square meters, the bathroom is 2 square meters, and only bath towels, hand towels and soap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, password box are provided. There are tea and coffee, but I had diarrhea after drinking them, probably because they are expired. The hotel does not even have bottled water, because Australian water is directly drinkable. Bottled water is available, but most of it is bought by Chinese. There is a public kitchen and laundry room, and you need to pay coins to wash clothes and sell laundry powder.

A small white house on the side of Avoca Road is the hotel. It has two floors, complete room facilities, comfortable mattresses and soft lighting. Sydney has strong sunshine, and there are reversible wooden blinds in the window to completely block the light. The water from the bathroom faucet is very strong. There is a public kitchen and washing machine downstairs to facilitate the needs of guests. The main door and room doors of the hotel are password locks, which will be given on the door card when checking in. The hotel is basically self-service, and the front desk is open from 11 to 16 o'clock. If you check out early, you can put the door card in a small box in the window. You will receive a thank you email when you check out, which is consistent with the specifications of high-star hotels. The hotel has a good location and can walk to UNSW. There is L2 light rail within a few hundred meters to CBD, and many bus lines can reach every corner of Sydney. The room is comfortable, the transportation is convenient, and the price is low. This hotel is the first choice for students and parents in New South to land in Sydney.
