Old Town Regensburg|0.49km from city center
Very good! Opposite the cathedral, the scenery is very beautiful, and it is also very close to various attractions. It is almost a quiet central area, which is perfect. Besides, the room is very big, it should be 40 square meters, three beds, comfortable bathroom, and bright windows, which makes people feel very happy. The front desk was enthusiastic, there were no other problems, and patiently showed us the way. The elevator is well-designed and can carry luggage without obstacles. It’s a ten-minute walk from the Central Railway Station, a straight line, no detours. Downstairs is the century-old restaurant, where many people come to eat every night, warm and lively, and very cozy. The bad thing is that there will be bugs here. Although it is very clean, there will be bugs on the bed and windowsill, and it is inconvenient to push luggage on the ground at the door. Especially recommend staying, will go next time. And this city is too recommended!From$69

I cannot praise the staff in this hotel enough. They were brilliant! Bianca and Millett went above and beyond the call of duty to help me when I thought I was going to have to return from a festival about an hour away late at night. They seriously could not have done more to help than they did, . I had train times, phone numbers and taxi numbers to hand if I needed them. They took all the stress out of the situation for me. In the end there was room in the car with my friends but as a result of their help I had a worry free festival knowing exactly how I would get back to the hotel if I needed to. The hotel was clean and lovely. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Bianca and Millet!From$108

We booked 3 nights with breakfast and Danube shipping Worldenburg as a whole package. Rooms super, clean and daily clean. Shower precaution Risk of departure!!! Parking directly free next to the hotel. Small teich next to the hotel (awn feeding banned). Breakfast also ok. In the evening at the bar you could drink something with waiting times. All right as far as possible. But then a bus full of older guests came who didn't behave. Very noisy entertainment at breakfast. You could understand everything over the room what was posaunt at the other end and beyond about several corners to the lift and staircase. Evening again very noisy in the small bar. As chairs were not enough, they were taken from the dining area and placed into the entrance area, and sounded music. Sound until night until 24:00, also from outside before the entrance. The noise was heard up to the 4 floors at closed windows and across the whole staircase. When we were complained that these are tribal guests and come more often. Super!!! Other guests had not liked this noise too. Another problem: There was a wrong place to invest for the Danube shipping booked. Only by chance we got the right out of that in another area. Then next problem: The hotel had forgotten to log in for the shipping. We should not have been able to go with. Only because other guests refused to enter the 80-year-old ship that was not a holiday ship, we could have gone with. We were told there were already more problems when booked people were not registered. Then partly rain came. In a small room only 8 people of over 40 guests were fit. Others had shields or were under a tense film or were unprotected there. The ship as such was not for passenger shipping. We went with only because we booked and we had a trip of more than 185 km. My wife wanted to recover a few days after a long serious illness. Unfortunately, this was not achieved by the disturbances described. Therefore, not the full scoreFrom$67

We booked our 1 night stay for Christmas 2023, a few days earlier. It took 3 times to confirm the reservation online since their webpage was crashing. We chose an option to pay upon arrival and were charged only €0.01 reservation fee. A day before our arrival we received an email stating that our card couldn't be charged for the full amount and that we have until noon to send the correct card details or we will lose our booking. After explaining that we were given and chose the option to pay upon arrival, they said it's okay then. We received 2 emails about the reception working hours on Christmas, first that it's until 17h, then until 15h. As we arrived later, we needed to self check-in and pay at the machine, which went fine. However, the room we were given was not cleaned after the previous guest (the bed was not made, the dirty towels were on the floor). The on-call staff member immediately gave us another room. The room was very small and basic but clean (the 2nd one). The bed was quite small (French bed) but comfortable. The room was extremely basic equipped, not even a cup for the tooth brushes or a trash bin in the room itself. No closet, just a few open hangers. But the worst part was that there were strange sounds during the night in the room/building, like banging in the pipes or something. We didn't have any appliances on (e.g. AC/heating, light) so we don't know what these sounds were but they were very disturbing, keeping us up the whole night. The next morning we heard another guest complaining about it as well. The breakfast was good, a variety of bread, sausages and cheese, 3 types of jams, a chocolate spread, boiled eggs, 2 types of juice, coffee and cocoa from the machine, tea, sweet pastry, yoghurt, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, although only the boiled egg was a warm option. The staff was friendly. The location is great, close to the highway, the bus stop is in front which takes you to the old town in 20 min, buses on Christmas went every 20 min until 20h (and until 22h from the city back to the hotel stop). The daily ticket for 1 person was €3. However, not much to do in the city on Christmas, even the Christmas market was closed. Well equipped hotel, 15 minutes walk from Regensburg old town. Stylish interior, clean bathroom, good variety for breakfast. Very nice idea: if we don’t need housekeeping, the hotel offers a drink since we are taking care of our environment. Only one negative experience is the parking: the hotel has a garage but actually impossible to find free lots. We had to park at the streets nearby which is a challenge.SOLD OUT

I stayed (luckily) one night in this hotel with my family (2 little girls and a small dog) in a junior suite Let's start with the positive aspects: the room was large and the double bed was comfortable, staff in restaurant was very nice during breakfast time What I didn't like 1) lack of courtesy and unprofessionalism from the receptionist To be more precise: as soon as i entered i went to the reception (i was equipped with a covid mask as required and i was close to the counter in order to say Hello and show our reservation ) Receptionist (a lady) said Hello and give us key and asked about which time we prefer for breakfast, then kind lady, looking my wife that was slowing entering , (she was near entrance door) holding a little girl, peremptorily ”asked” her to put on the mask. Obviously my wife immediately wore the mask, but there was no need to be so rude, we haven't even asked for a welcoming committee on our arrival... probably our expectations of receiving a smile and a welcome were too high 20 minutes later, after placing our luggage in the room, we walked to the garden, crossing the lobby, with the intention of having something to drink and consume in the garden while we were looking at the garden by the door, suddenly kind lady from reception (the same person who had welcomed us) ran to us saying that the restaurant was closed and abruptly closed the door to access the lounge and garden:we were speechless Half an hour later there were numerous people sipping beers in the garden, nobody was able to explain us the reasons for this behavior and frankly at that point we were no longer interested and we decided to go to the city to eat and drink something rather than stay there. 2) WI-fi was NOT present , while in reservation is present - i called reception from my room asking information about that, answer was literally that Wifi is down, i am sorry 3) There is NO air conditioning, if you decide to open the window you'll hear the noise of trains (yes, it is in front of the railway) 4) Cleanliness the carpet was stained in several parts, probably spots date back to the last century ; curtains were very dirty (see pictures) and stains looked very old NB we were in Junior Suite.. 5)Restaurant was closed (no explanations were given about it, I suppose it is due to the covid situation, but, I repeat, no explanation has been provided. 6) breakfast was really the bare minimum (a tray with cold cuts, cheese, a jug of coffee), I asked for 2 cappuccinos and paid them separately (without flavor, being made by an automatic machine) 7) the baby's crib was without a mattress (we made fun of using the blanket they gave us) so considering above points i don't really know how this hotel has been classified with 4 stars, we did not ask the moon, we expected nothing else than a normal standard service with courtesy and attention to the customer i suggest to look elsewhereFrom$81

|1.27km from city centerWir waren zufrieden!

|2.09km from city centerWe travel with the whole family very often. I have a silver status in Accor Hotels, Ibis Card and my wife is a member of the Accor hotel chain. I have been working in the tourism industry for several years. Before going to this hotel, we stayed for a few days at the Ibis Styles hotels in Milan, Italy, at the Ibis in Lugano, Switzerland and also a month earlier at the Ibis in Nuremberg, Germany. Unfortunately, we are faced with a terrible situation in this hotel, the solution of which is only! the dismissal of this employee, who allowed himself, one can say, fraud actions! Situation; I reserved a hotel through the Accor Hotels application and left my card details. We arrived at the hotel with the whole family and paid! for the room immediately at the reception. After the payment, I asked for an invoice for this payment as it was a business trip. To this, this employee asked me for my debit card, took it in his hands and began to rewrite my personal data somewhere! I was in shock! I asked what are you doing? To which he replied to me that ”I should write down your card details to make you an invoice”. Why, I asked? Do you already have the data of my another one debit card in the Accor Hotels application and why can't you take the card data from there? Why do you need my second debit card details for an invoice at all? This is the first time I have encountered such a situation that someone takes client debit card into their own hands and rewrites personal data from it! I demanded him to return my debit card and this employee refused to do it! He refused to return my personal card! You understand! He refused to return my personal card and threatened that he would cancel my room reservation and payment for the room if I did not give him my personal payment card details! He started saying that you don't understand how the system works in Germany and you, that is, we are wrong! When we were at the Ibis Styles Milan and Ibis Lugano Swiss for three days ago and no one took my payment card in their hands and did not try to rewrite personal data from it! I have invoices for each month from the Accor Hotels chain and I know what the process of receiving them looks like! We were shocked! Have you ever faced such a situation! Horror and shock! After that, we started shouting and already addressing other hotel employees, this hotel employee threw us a payment card and quickly left! He just runaway! Another employee gave us a card to enter our paid room and told us verbatim - Go to your room! Get away from here! That is, he just sent us away from the reception desk to our room! We were shocked! Never before in our experience have we encountered such a thing! I work in tourism and could not imagine this situation! We wanted to call the police, but this employee just disappeared! I appeal to Accor Hotels to resolve this situation and dismiss this employee! As a silver member of the Accor hotel chain and the owner of the Ibis card, I demand that this employee be pu

|1.23km from city centerThe hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. The twin beds were firm, and we were wonderful. We thought breakfast was too expensive (€ 10 / person), but there is a cookie - a cafeteria located 2 minutes, so don't worry The parking in front of the hotel is free (although it is a little difficult to find).

|1.17km from city centerWell equipped hotel, 15 minutes walk from Regensburg old town. Stylish interior, clean bathroom, good variety for breakfast. Very nice idea: if we don’t need housekeeping, the hotel offers a drink since we are taking care of our environment. Only one negative experience is the parking: the hotel has a garage but actually impossible to find free lots. We had to park at the streets nearby which is a challenge.

Regensburg
|0.49km from city centerVery good! And this city is too recommended!

|0.32km from city centerWe stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday night. We loved the place and their friendly atmosphere. Our room was nice and modern, with a large bathroom. The staff was friendly. The dining area was pleasant with an outdoor courtyard and tables and chairs. The breakfast was healthy and delightful, coffee excellent, and there were gluten free and vegan options for those that needed it. The hotel is situated sideways on a narrow, cobbled street in a kind of courtyard. We drove and the parking is easy -- parking garage with car entrance on a bigger street parallel to the narrow one -- and an people entrance right at the hotel door -- and we got vouchers for 10 euro parking a day (rather than 14). And yes, as people have said, there is a nightclub in the same courtyard. It was not hot out so we left the window closed -- the soundproofing from the windows was excellent and really didn't hear anything that kept us awake. And yes, the staff does leave at 8 -- we used our room key to get in and to use the elevator at night.

|4.62km from city centerI cannot recommend this hotel if you are passing through heading south. Firstly, the female receptionists were rude and very unhelpful. We drove from Denmark to Croatia and booked the hotel both ways. I read on their website that they had a restaurant and that it closed at 9pm. On the way there, we arrived at the hotel at 8:10pm and were told there was a buffet and therefore they closed at 8:30pm. We had to hurry down to eat, which they reluctantly allowed because we arrived late. On the way back, we were told at the reception that the kitchen was closed, so instead of relaxing, we had to go out into the city to find some dinner. They had decided that everyone should have a glass carafe of water taken up to their room upon arrival. This was quite inconvenient when you were holding all your luggage and had to find your room by yourself. You then had to remember to bring the same bottle down with your luggage when checking out. Otherwise, you were asked to go up and get it before you could check out. One star for the mentioned receptionists.

|0.46km from city centerThe rooms are what you would expect from an IBIS. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom, which smelled of urine. Visually it appeared clean. The rest of the room was clean. They have a very nice bar and a nice sitting area, which is open all night. We had trouble finding the parking, so I would suggest asking for directions before you get there (we had to run in and ask after circling numerous times). You have to put another street address into the navigator to find it, but once you have this it is easy to find. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of the old town, but it is an easy walk. I think that this hotel is great value for money.

|0.88km from city centerI stayed (luckily) one night in this hotel with my family (2 little girls and a small dog) in a junior suite Let's start with the positive aspects: the room was large and the double bed was comfortable, staff in restaurant was very nice during breakfast time What I didn't like 1) lack of courtesy and unprofessionalism from the receptionist To be more precise: as soon as i entered i went to the reception (i was equipped with a covid mask as required and i was close to the counter in order to say Hello and show our reservation ) Receptionist (a lady) said Hello and give us key and asked about which time we prefer for breakfast, then kind lady, looking my wife that was slowing entering , (she was near entrance door) holding a little girl, peremptorily ”asked” her to put on the mask. 6) breakfast was really the bare minimum (a tray with cold cuts, cheese, a jug of coffee), I asked for 2 cappuccinos and paid them separately (without flavor, being made by an automatic machine) 7) the baby's crib was without a mattress (we made fun of using the blanket they gave us) so considering above points i don't really know how this hotel has been classified with 4 stars, we did not ask the moon, we expected nothing else than a normal standard service with courtesy and attention to the customer i suggest to look elsewhere

|2.01km from city centerHotel good and new. Room large, bathroom good. Good beds. I couldn't understand why there were two extra beds in my room for single occupancy and why they weren't put away even when they were notified. No wellness infrastructure in the hotel. Location near the center of Regensburg, but there are few options for going out in the evening in the area. Parking garage with options for charging electric cars available. Breakfast good, good cappuccino, little fresh fruit, no fresh orange juice. Staff very friendly, especially at breakfast. Reception staff needs to be improved in terms of customer orientation. Two suggestions from me: a bottle of water in the room (almost standard worldwide) and white sausages as a regional specialty at breakfast were answered with the following saying: there is no such thing, it was decided by the company's management. The hotel should be grateful for such suggestions from the customer, which could be implemented with little effort, and should not fob the customer off with empty phrases. Premier Inn should not only be cheap, but also a bit premium.

|0.25km from city centerWe arrived at midday and were able to have our room straight away. We had a friendly welcome from the receptionist. The room was clean and modern although quite small. We were staying for 3 nights and there was little wardrobe and drawer space, having said that we were comfortable and the air conditioning was a bonus. It was only a short walk into the old town so we loved the location. Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice. I was particularly impressed when I asked a member of staff if there were any more croissants available as they had all been taken and he actually went across the road to buy some more! Now that’s what I call excellent customer service. Regensberg is such a lovely place to visit and the hotel complemented it well.

|2.72km from city centerWe booked 3 nights with breakfast and Danube shipping Worldenburg as a whole package. Therefore, not the full score

|3.18km from city centerverything was perfect. We were given a nice quite room but unfortunatelly there was a strong perfume smell in the room, which my partner and I couldnt stand but the reception changed our room immediately. The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. Everything was clean and the breakfast was perfect. The staff were friendly and had a smile all the time. We thought the transportation to the city center would be a challenge but on the contraty. There are two alternative on taking the bus to the city. Also there are supermarkt and restaurants near the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.
