I stayed here for one night with my partner and we had a lovely time. The room was spacious and so clean. The breakfast buffet was lovely and had so much choice. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was really tasty. The mini gym is great for a quick workout and I recommend going to the rooftop pool for sunset as you can see the most beautiful views from all around. Very happy with the price and service overall.From€42

The basics are there, but with a lot of room for improvements.
The rooms soundproofing are awful. We can hear the neighbours shower. We can hear the ambience music in the corridor (btw, whose idea is it to play LOUD ambience music in the corridor?). We can hear the people who are hear for a corporate event.
The breakfast was decent for the price paid.
The shower took a while to heat up. And no tissues were provided.
The only thing we commend is the international socket that came in real handy.

The guest house watcher (I'm sorry I never remembered the name) and the night watcher were very kind and friendly. Since they have lived their entire life on this island , there is a lot of knowledge about it and can tell you without any problems what you are interested in. With Ivan (night guard, brutal man) we spent more than one night for rice wine , (in Russian braga) communicating with each other through an interpreter we shared many with each other , it is rarely good experience. I never was bored there. If I ever be in those regions, I will definitely come to them again. I really liked these people

|0.69km from city centerI stayed at Dewi Sri Guesthouse just before it was closed due to the corona craziness and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It's run by Chris and Dewi, an Australian guy and his Indonesian wife and what they have created here in a very short time is nothing short of remarkable. They are supported by Dewi's family who don't speak alot of English but go out of their way to make you feel part of their family. The bedrooms have TV, ac and comfortable beds, the bathrooms are spotless and offer a choice of Indonesian wash tub and western shower, both with hot and cold water. The inside living area is stylish yet casual with comfy sofas terazzo tiled floors, french doors leading to an outdoor terrace and solid timber dining table. There are actually two leafy courtyard areas both with bluetooth speakers and good wifi throughout. And the best news is they are building a swimming pool. This guesthouse is conveniently close to the Immigration Office and a street food strip that offers a wide range of Indonesian street food at amazingly cheap prices. For myself, I was just as happy to eat Dewi's aunts home cooked food and think about my next stay with these lovely people, in this delightful environment and the soon to be completed swimming pool.
