The room is very new! It was newly opened in 2018. Especially the heater is set against the wall, which is much better than many previous hotels in the United States, where the heater is placed in the room, facing one of the beds. However, for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, the room is smaller than the hotel room suitable for family vacations. The hotel breakfast needs to be ordered at the bar, and the taste is still good! But because it is not a buffet breakfast, the courtyard brand is like this. It depends on personal preference. The hotel team service is very nice! Maintain the courtyard standard. There are several places suitable for working in the lobby on the first floor! If you are on a business trip, it is great! We had a queen bed with a sofa pullout. The queen bed was uncomfortable & more like a full. The sofa bed appeared to be broken & we could not sleep on it. 2 of us got no sleep due to the sofa bed. Our phone in the room was also not working when we tried to contact the front desk. Very nice staff, but room was horrible.From$152

This is stylish, comfortable and well appointed apartment in a 125 year old 2 family home. A Back yard with a picnic table, fire pit, hammock and other seating surrounded by perennial gardens and flower pots. All only steps away from a quaint New England Downtown with a few dozen restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Including a brewery, arcade bar, axe throwing, escape room, coffee roaster and chocolate shop. As well as art spaces, a Homestead museum, rails to trails and several fairs and festivals. Located in the center of the state you have easy access all Connecticut has to offer. In an hour15 to 2 hours you can take a day trip to NYC, Boston, The Cape, Berkshire mountains, Providence and New Port RI. The whole first floor is it depicted in the pictures, they will be made available as soon as the rooms are done. Less than 10 minutes to Lake compounds amusement park, Bear Creek camp ground, ESPN and Mount Southington. Centrally located in the center of the state, 30 minutes from Hartford or New Haven. Less than two hours to NYC, Boston, Cape Cod Providence or Newport, RI beaches.
