We travelled to Taihape for one of my sisters funerals and upon waking up in the morning we discovered that there was no hot water in our room, or for that matter in the whole block of rooms. Because of this we weren't able to shower before leaving the hotel.
The Owners/Managers were made aware of the situation and they discovered that the hot water cylinders for the block had ruptured.
No alternative or compensation was offered.
Very disappointing as we paid full price of $162 for our room for one night.
Will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone.From$87

When we arrived, it was nearly 9 o'clock in the evening, and the shops were closed. Fortunately, we have prepared some materials to cook and eat. The hotel service is very good, the staff is very friendly, if you don't want to abandon the distance, it is a good choice.From$96

We travelled to Taihape for one of my sisters funerals and upon waking up in the morning we discovered that there was no hot water in our room, or for that matter in the whole block of rooms. Because of this we weren't able to shower before leaving the hotel.
The Owners/Managers were made aware of the situation and they discovered that the hot water cylinders for the block had ruptured.
No alternative or compensation was offered.
Very disappointing as we paid full price of $162 for our room for one night.
