We were extremely pleased with our stay at AP Cabanas Beach & Nature. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our entire visit. Even in April, which is off-peak season, the hotel still offered a variety of activities, which made a huge difference and showed excellent organization. The breakfast was very comprehensive and high quality, and the room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Another big plus was the access to the beach via the free boat provided by the hotel—it was convenient and a really pleasant experience. The location is a bit further from the center, which might not be ideal for those looking for a lot of nightlife or quick commutes, but on the other hand, it offers a very calm and quiet environment, perfect for relaxation. Without a doubt, an experience we'd love to repeat.

This was a great hotel. The only issue is that parking is tight. But the staff and the front desk was always so helpful. It's also so easy to find because of the bright yellow. Great spot.

It was a beautiful, comfortable, and the breakfast spread was good. There is a free shuttle to the old town too. We enjoyed our stay with very much. Highly recommended.

Positives - Good value for money, we had a bargain on Trip.com for £67 for a twin room Pool view with breakfast, it was £94 + on other sites, the room clean and comfortable, nice shower and lovely toiletries, big T.V in room and lots of English channels, really lovely breakfast, plenty of choice, nice indoor pool, warm but a little small, you have to wear a swimming cap which they sell at reception for €5, we didn't use the outside pool as it was February and they were working on it ready for the summer. The main reception staff were lovely, we had a welcome glass of wine and the man was very friendly. Negatives - we were in room 314 the 1st morning around 5.30 am a very loud humming noise started and went on for over an hour, the 2nd morning it happened again but for not so long, we thought it was maybe a generator and hoped it wouldn't happen again, but that night just after 9pn it started again, we phoned reception and they said it was the Jacuzzi ? and it just came on randomly. and then 5.15 am it started again and was so loud, I went down to reception and the night guy was just so rude ! he said it was the Jacuzzi and this happens often we should have complained before, he said why complain now, you are leaving today ! his customer service was very bad, and this really put the dampers on our stay. I hope they have sorted this out for other guests.

Negative points: The beds were not very comfortable for two people as they are not well bundled. The showers are also improved, you need to press the button every three seconds to get water and have no tub, so the screw is fixed. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable. Check In quite late. Insonorization could also be better. A few things let this place down. Room is a good size with fridge, balcony and bath, but also broken fittings and plastic mattress protectors that rustle. You have to book the spa (can usually do that for immediate use tho!) and women have to buy a swim cap for the pool (none of this is written down or explained anywhere, despite reception saying they did when I suggested they put this info in the room). Inside pool, 'jazzui' and 'turkish bath' (steam room) are included for guests. Breakfast had plenty of choice but only the fresh orange juice stood out - very average ingredients all round. Much cheaper to stay in Monte Gordo for the same facilities.

It's a bit run-down. There's little kitchenware, and the mattresses and towels are old. The stair railings can cut your hands.

Good location, very calm and relaxing place, with small houses scattered throughout the pine forest. Very good for those traveling with animals. The pool is a little far away for those staying in the furthest houses. Cleaning is very basic and the staff were not very friendly.
