The convenience of transportation and dining at Nagoya Marriott needs no further explanation. Let me offer a few valuable comparative insights. All superior rooms, including corner rooms, are small with no dining table and no separate shower area. If you're traveling with children, I recommend booking a deluxe twin room. If you notify the staff, they will push the two beds together, making a very large bed, approximately 2.4 meters wide. Deluxe rooms are primarily located on the east and west sides of the building. The advantage of the west side is that the room gets sunlight all day, so clothes hung on the curtain rod are sure to dry completely in a day. The downside is that the train station is below, which might lead to noise. I haven't stayed there, so I can't confirm. The pictures on Ctrip show rooms on the west side. The advantage of the east side is that it's quiet. The downside is that the dining table in the room is a movable one instead of a fixed one, making it slightly smaller. The room only gets sun before 11 AM, but it won't be exposed to scorching afternoon sun. I stayed in an east-side room; please refer to the floor plan I uploaded. Overall, I recommend it, given the convenient transportation and dining. However, staying at a transportation hub does feel a bit disconnected from local life, being far from residential areas, so there aren't many izakayas nearby. Also, note that the station downstairs closes after midnight. If you return late, you'll have to walk around to the west side of the building to enter the hotel. Furthermore, the voltage in Japanese hotels is 110V, which isn't enough to power a Dyson hairdryer brought from overseas.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Nishiki. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore Nagoya—I enjoyed visiting Nagoya Castle, strolling through Hisaya-odori Park, and trying the local restaurants and cafés in the Sakae area before returning to relax for the evening. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and I would happily stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay! I stayed at this hotel twice: once when I first arrived in Nagoya, and again after returning from a 2D1N trip outside the city before flying home. I'm so glad I chose Mitsui both times! As all the guest rooms are located above the 18th floor, the views were fantastic. From our room, we enjoyed a beautiful bird's-eye view of Nagoya City. In fact, I almost felt like I didn't need to visit the observation deck on the 51st floor of JR Central Towers to enjoy the city skyline! The service was excellent as well. The hotel kindly stored our luggage while we were away on our overnight trip. When we returned to check in for our second stay, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our luggage had already been moved to our room without us even having to ask. A big thank you to the staff for being so attentive and proactive in preparing everything before we arrived. Besides its excellent location next to Nagoya Station, there is a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel. There's also a Mister Donut across the road, where we grabbed breakfast and snacks before heading out each day. Overall, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The location, service, and comfort all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

Lawson is available around the corner. There are also restaurants and izakayas around the area. ROOM Not spacious but doable. Try not to get all things out of your luggage. Just perfect for solo travelers. SERVICES Coin laundry are available at the 3F. Free coffee in the lobby. They also have free donuts or other patries until 1900H. Nice room and Onsen I had a chance to stop by at nagoya for a night. For me it's a bit far from the station but walkable. Have 7-11 nearby and many restaurants. But Love that it's close to Tower park. - Room is quite spacious and comfy. - Bathroom is small. - A space for little closet is good. - Onsen is nice, I love outdoor area and cute basket for belonging. Lucky I got quiet environment and nice vibe, can store luggage for free. Maybe stay again next time.

The hotel is quite old but clean and provides good facilities. It’s located perfectly right next to the Nagoya station and in the same building as Meitetsu bus station. So it’s convenient to take a bus continuing to Takayama and other cities without any hassles. Many cafes and restaurants are underground and nearby buildings. I would really recommend this hotel for the stay in Nagoya.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station, or a 1600 yen taxi ride from JR Nagoya. Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are very well-maintained. There's a drugstore and three convenience stores right downstairs, which is super convenient. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk to the shopping district, where you'll find Mitsukoshi, Matsuya, Parco, and other major brands all on the same street.

Firstly, a big thank you to the front desk staff – they were really enthusiastic and had a great attitude. English communication was absolutely no problem. I went to the convenience store to buy bread and fruit but didn't have a knife. The front desk staff went to the restaurant to borrow a dining knife for me to cut the fruit (and it was already midnight!). The room space was very generous, easily accommodating two large suitcases. For Japan, that's quite spacious. Although it's not directly connected to JR, and you might need an umbrella if it rains, the Fushimi station is very close, about a 5-minute walk. The only downside is the poorly designed bathroom, with water splashing out everywhere.

My stay at ESPACIO Nagoya Castle left a lasting impression, primarily due to the incredibly attentive and professional staff! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptionally warm and welcoming. As foreign guests, we truly felt at home, thanks to their fluent English and Chinese, along with their thoughtful guidance. The hotel's interior is elegantly decorated, exuding an artistic ambiance. Whether in the lobby, restaurant, hot spring, or when staff were explaining room facilities, everyone always had a smile and readily attended to guests' needs. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Nagoya Castle, offering a peaceful environment, though finding dining options on the street at night can be a bit challenging. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the food quality was remarkably high! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its 100% service and museum-like artistic atmosphere. While it's on the pricier side, it absolutely delivers an unforgettable experience! A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. The hotel is located about 1.5km from Nagoya JR Station, roughly a 15-minute walk. The standard room with a 1.3-meter double bed is quite small, especially the bathroom, which is even smaller than those at Toyoko Inn. The facilities are a bit old, but the free natural hot spring (available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM) is a definite highlight. I visited during the Emperor's Birthday long weekend, so prices were higher than usual and rooms were scarce. When I went for a hot spring bath around 9:00 PM, I even had to queue to shower. Many locals also choose this hotel.

Last minute booked this hotel with onsen as this accommodation is the nearest to Nagoya station then. But it is still a 12 min walk from Meitetsu Nagoya (where you take the train to airport). Onsen is very small with 4 washing cubicles in the female. Amenities provided within the onsen are also limited eg 1 hair dryer with no seat. But the hot water relaxed the muscles after 1 day walking. I booked a bigger room that is meant for 2 to 4 pax. Comfortable stay, return your unused toothbrush and toothpaste in exchange fo a small treat. Welcome drink until 8pm is a plus point.

The bath on the rooftop floor for sale is good, but it was difficult to open and close the keys to the clothing locker in the bathroom changing room, and 3 bathers including me were struggling. Specifically, when closing the undressing locker with a key, you need to press a small button attached to the keyhole, and many people don't notice and can't close the key here. I was in trouble. I struggle to understand why I need to press a small button under the keyhole to close the key. Furthermore, it is difficult to open the key when the bath is finished and the key is opened, and why is it like a locker in the dressing room of the bath, and it is troubled with such unnecessary security 々? I can't understand. Finally, the solution was to use the locker without locking it. Does the hotel manager know the actual situation of such troubles? I guess I'm not looking at the site as a streamlined IT. Customer first concept is to walk around the site even with a locker key in the bathroom like this. I will send an email to Mr. Fumiko Motoya separately because I presume that the person in charge of APA Nagoya Marunouchi will not care about this matter.

The room size is big enough and we cant find any hotel have such a size in Nagoya. All the staff are polite and able to communicate in English. This is exceptional compared to my experience in OMO... in Osaka where I needed to use Google translation app for communication. If you really want me to say any room for improvement, I would advice that the cleaning service. This is not about the 3 days deeping cleaning policy. It is about the slippers where they all threw under the seat or table. And I can also find that there are tissue or snacks under the table after cleaning. This is more like a service apartment. The room has a stove and even a washing machine, which takes up space in an already small room. The living area feels a bit cramped, with the large bed almost facing the TV directly. The view outside the window isn't great, and I'm not sure if that's because I booked through Trip.com. The hotel also has a secret passage leading to the top of the tower for views. Guests can choose to watch the night view or the sunrise. The hotel's mystery really surprised me. So this was a great experience. However, if you want to go shopping, you still need to drive a bit, as finding parking is not easy. This was my first time staying at this hotel in Nagoya, and I have to admit, the room was really small, even for one person it felt cramped. Luckily, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the business district with Mitsukoshi and Matsuzakaya department stores nearby, which is super convenient for shopping. The hotel breakfast was decent, but the famed unagi don (eel rice bowl) never made an appearance. Also, when I went for breakfast on the second floor in the morning, there was no one at the restaurant entrance. I just stood there with my meal ticket, feeling a bit silly. After waiting for a while, I couldn't hold back and said, ”Is anyone here?” That's when a male staff member, who I believe was Southeast Asian, peeked out from a room next to the reception desk. He only stood up after seeing the meal ticket in my hand, and then I was finally able to enter the restaurant. I hope the hotel strengthens its staff's service awareness, especially the training for foreign employees. Only then can they attract more guests amidst fierce market competition.

I can only say that the price we paid when booking 2 months in advance was somewhat justified for this hotel. The exterior looks decent, but the inside is very old and worn. My biggest complaint is about the escalator. Since the front desk is on the second floor and we arrived around 2 PM, the escalator was only going down 😓. There were stairs next to it, but our luggage was too heavy for us girls to carry up. After searching for a long time, we found that if you want to use the elevator, you have to go through the main entrance, then turn left and follow a 'secret' path. There's a button 🔘 at the entrance; press it to let the front desk know you're checking in, and they'll open the door! However, when we came back in the evening, the escalator was going up 😓. Maybe we just arrived at the wrong time! Service: The female receptionist's attitude was mediocre, no smile, and she seemed rather unenthusiastic. She felt a bit stern! Facilities: The hot springs ♨️ on the third floor downstairs are quite nice and seem to have been renovated recently. They feel out of place with the old, worn-out hotel! The room facilities themselves are quite complete, but the soundproofing is a bit poor!

The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay! What a wonderful stay! Although I've visited Nagoya several times, this was my first time staying in the Sakae district. While it's not as convenient for JR access as the area around Takashimaya, I personally think Sakae offers better, more youthful, and stylish shopping than Nagoya JR Station – there's just too much to explore! The hotel itself is very international, and the lobby's design sets it apart from other hotels. It also offers excellent privacy. Check-in was quiet and orderly. The staff spoke fluent English, were quick and very friendly, providing a great comfort after a long journey. The room was thoughtfully designed with many small surprises – I won't spoil them all; you'll have to discover them for yourselves!

CNGuest UserWhat a wonderful stay! Although I've visited Nagoya several times, this was my first time staying in the Sakae district. The hotel has a very convenient location, close to various shopping malls, making it easy to find food and enjoy shopping. We rented a car, and the hotel offers a partner parking facility where we could park at a cheaper rate compared to other parking options in the Sakae area. Everyone really liked it. This time, we booked a total of 3 rooms for 2 nights each, and we would definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Anyway, I like this place and will definitely consider it again next time when I visit Nagoya.

Great location, a few minutes from nagoya station, underground shopping. Hotel has a public bath, quite good the only problem I had was with other guest not removing their shoes. Great restaurants nearby and a Lawson downstairs.

Room size was decent! Bed and floor were clean, but the hangers and shelves had a visible layer of dust. Rooms are accessible by QR code or a PIN code which are convenient, but be mindful during check in if anyone else can hear your room number and code. We asked for a new code for this reason, which the hotel thankfully easily agreed to. Location was good, away from the bustling city but with enough dining options nearby, even a 24h Ichiran!

This is an excellent hotel! Its location is superb, just a 3-5 minute walk from Sakae Station Exit 3, and very close to the airport limousine bus stop, making transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding area has a wide range of amenities, making dining, getting around, and shopping extremely easy. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, it's very clean and tidy. The staff service was particularly outstanding; they even helped me call a taxi. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

My go to accommodation in Nagoya. This hotel was superb whether your a solo traveller or travelling with someone. Staffs are friendly. They have a lounge to use for working from home. And most of all, a nice hearty breakfast. Definitely will come back again

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Taiko Dori Side is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station, making it an excellent base for exploring the city and traveling around Japan. One of the biggest conveniences is the FamilyMart located on the ground floor, which is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or daily necessities at any time. The room was clean and comfortable, although it was relatively small, which is typical for many hotels in Japan. Despite the compact size, the room was well-organized and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel provides a variety of amenities, which guests can conveniently pick up from the lobby according to their needs. This is both practical and environmentally friendly. Overall, this is a great hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay near Nagoya Station.
