Antalya Museum
If you ask me which city in Turkey I loved most, I'd definitely choose Antalya—this quiet and charming seaside town is perfect for soaking up the sun and relaxing. This trip took me from Manavgat to Antalya and then to Pamukkale, a journey filled with historical sites, delicious food, and the dazzling blue of the Mediterranean coastline! Whether sunny or rainy, strolling through Antalya's old town and along the beach gives you a chill, timeless feeling. Add to that the various quirky little museums, ancient ruins, and hidden restaurants, and it's a paradise for those who love a slow-paced lifestyle. My Turkey Trip Roundup: Must-See Scenery and Fun Recommendations Manavgat Section: The Side area is like a scene from a classic Turkish mythological epic. I highly recommend visiting the Temple of Apollo (Side, Cumhuriyet Blv. No:50, 07600 Manavgat/Antalya, 08:30–17:30). The ruins under the setting sun are incredibly romantic and perfect for taking photos. Nearby is the Temple of Athena (Merkez, 07600 Manavgat/Antalya, open year-round), where you can step into a mythological world. Even on rainy days, it has a unique, weathered feel, perfect for photos. Antalya Section Antalya is the highlight of the trip! Start with the Kareč Historic District, where the cobblestone streets and colorful old houses are a true artistic masterpiece of the Eastern Mediterranean. The colorful umbrellas hanging high on Umbrella Street are a must-see for photos. A must-visit is the Korkut Mosque (Kilincarslan Mh.Cami Sk, 07100 Antalya), with its ancient and solemn architecture. The dappled sunlight filtering through the trees in front of the gate is perfect for a quiet moment. Mini Museum Recommendation: Antalya Toy Museum (Selçuk Mah Yat Liman Sok.No:112, 07000 Muratpaşa, 09:00–18:00, open Tuesday-Sunday). The exhibition hall is adorable, with various retro toys and charming designs that will soothe even the most aging adults. A must-visit for relaxation by the sea: Mermerli Beach. The Antalya Grand Elevator takes you directly to the beach below. Lying by the clear water, listening to the seagulls, all your worries will disappear. For culinary delights in Antalya, don't miss Iskele Fish & Steak House (Yat Limani Marina | Iskele Street Number 29, Antalya 07100). The chef's grilled lamb chops and seafood are incredibly generous – highly recommended! Their outdoor seating overlooks the harbor with fantastic views! For museum enthusiasts, the Antalya Museum is highly recommended. Its collection of antiques is astounding, perfect for history and archaeology lovers. When you're tired, you can relax at highly-rated hotels like the Hotel Ligia Antalya Old Town or experience the service at the Sun Anatolia Hotel. Pamukkale Section: If you're looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience, the Hierapolis Ancient Theater is recommended. Here you can experience the ruins of the ancient Roman theater up close, and from a high vantage point, gaze upon the natural thermal terraces of Pamukkale. Even on a cloudy day, it has a magical feel, perfect for quiet contemplation and daydreaming. Transportation Guide & Useful Tips 1. Side is about 70 kilometers from Antalya city center. It's recommended to drive, hire a car, or join a highly-rated local tour group for shared transportation. 2. Public transportation in Antalya city center is cheap and reliable. Taking trams or dolmus (minibuses) is very convenient, and Google Maps locations are generally accurate. 3. For beaches and historical sites, it's recommended to wear Crocs or river shoes—they're slip-resistant and easy to clean. 4. Near the Toy Museum, try Anis and Aynali for authentic Turkish cuisine. Summary Antalya and its surrounding area offer a wealth of experiences, combining historical sites, Mediterranean scenery, museums, and delicious food. It's charming regardless of the weather, making it an excellent choice for a slow-paced trip. We highly recommend combining the Side Ruins, Old Town, and beach to experience Turkey's unique relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. #AntalyaTownExploration #MustVisitTurkey #HistoricalRelics #MediterraneanCuisine #TravelReflections
"I love Antalya" tabelası
If you're looking for a moment to swap Turkish flair for elegant French aesthetics, Luminous Café is the place to be. My friend and I stopped in for morning coffee and fell in love with the atmosphere. This isn't just a café, it's a true slice of Provence, tucked away among the palm trees of Antalya. Ambience and interior: The café's design is a unique aesthetic pleasure. Everything is done in light pastel colors, with lots of fresh flowers, elegant furniture, and charming details that just beg to be captured by a camera lens. My friend and I spent the first half hour photographing every corner. It's the perfect place to spend a lazy morning, chatting to the sounds of French chanson. Luminous is famous for its pastries and desserts. Here's what we tried and what I highly recommend: Croissants: Real, with butter, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We had the classic one and the one with almond cream—it was gastronomic ecstasy! Breakfast: The presentation here is a work of art. Even a simple omelet or avocado toast looks like a masterpiece from a food magazine. Coffee and Drinks: The coffee is excellent, but I recommend checking out their signature teas and lemonades in beautiful glasses. Why we loved it: Aesthetics throughout: From the menu to the waiters' uniforms, everything here exudes style. Incidentally, the café is run by a pair of French friends. Quiet and Cozy: Unlike the noisy tourist cafés on the waterfront, tranquility reigns here. It's the perfect place for a "girls' get-together" or a romantic date. Quality: You can tell they don't skimp on ingredients. Belgian chocolate, fresh berries, high-quality butter—it's immediately noticeable in the taste. Tag📍: The café is located in the Gulluk district (not far from the coast). Right on the corner with the heart and the inscription. It's not very big, so if you're planning on coming on the weekend, it's best to arrive early to snag the most beautiful table by the window. And be sure to wear something flowy—the photos against their floral backdrop are simply magical! Luminous Café is about self-love and enjoying the moment. If, like my friend and I, you appreciate beautiful presentation and a cozy atmosphere, this will become your favorite place in Antalya. #antalya #antalyaplaces #turkey #antalyacafe

Kaleici Old Town
📍 Antalya in a nutshell A city on Türkiye's southern Mediterranean coast. A place that offers a resort vacation, Old Town sightseeing, and a seaside city atmosphere. ⸻ 🧭 Travel Highlights • Kaleiçi (Old Town): Narrow alleys, Ottoman-style houses, and a dense concentration of cafes and bars • Port Area: Views of moored yachts + dining with a sea view • City Size: Small, easy to navigate on foot or by taxi ⸻ 🍽️ Food • Focus on Mediterranean-style grilled fish and salad • Olive and yogurt-based → Overall, light • Reasonably priced compared to other tourist destinations ⸻ 🕰️ Recommended Itinerary • 2-3 days: Old Town + Port + Relaxation • 4+ days: A good mix of 1-2 nights at a resort → Slowing down rather than over-extending your itinerary increases your satisfaction. ⸻ 🌤️ Travel Season • Spring/Autumn: Most pleasant • Summer: Very hot, but fine for a beach vacation • Winter: Possible for sightseeing, but not peak season ⸻ ✅ Recommended for: • Those who enjoy coastal cities with a European feel • Frequent travel I prefer a relaxing trip. • A must-see itinerary that combines both resorts and local alleys. ⸻ One-Line Summary "Antalya is a Mediterranean destination that's more about relaxation than sightseeing." #Antalya #MediterraneanTravel #OverseasTravel #TurkeyTravel #ResortCity #EuropeanSensibility
Delight Deluxe Hotel
If you're looking for a place where old-world style meets comfort, Delight Deluxe is the perfect choice in the Old Town. My friends and I were thrilled with how they create a homey atmosphere! 🏠✨ ✨ Style and Courtyard The hotel consists of several restored buildings. Inside, there's a magical garden with flowers and citrus trees 🍋. My friend and I started every morning with a photo shoot in the courtyard because the light there is simply magical! 📸 🏊♀️ Oasis Pool Finding a pool in the center of Kaleici is a challenge, but here you have one! 💦 It's small, very clean, and surrounded by greenery. After walking in the heat in 2026, it's a lifesaver. 🛌 Rooms and Sleep The rooms are very bright, with high ceilings and antique masonry elements. The beds are a special treat, soft and comfortable ☁️. We slept like logs, despite the hotel being right in the middle of the action. The soundproofing is excellent! 👍 📍 Everything is within easy reach. Walks: 3 minutes to Hadrian's Gate and the main shopping streets 🛍️. Sea: The descent to Mermerli Beach and the port is just nearby ⚓. Food: There are hundreds of cafes around, but the hotel breakfasts are also excellent – everything is fresh and generous, Turkish style 🧀🥐. Bottom line: Delight Deluxe is all about genuine hospitality. The staff knows all the guests by name and is always ready to help 🤝. If you want to be right in the thick of things, but in a quiet and beautiful place, book without hesitation! 💎 #antalya #turkey #turkeyvacation #turkeyhotel #antalyahotel
