Wind of Lara Hotel and Spa
Okay, real talk—I never get why people stick to the little markets near their resort hotels like Wind of Lara or Delphin when you’ve got way cooler options just a quick ride away! 🚍💨
Here’s the move: Instead of dropping by those mini-markets by your hotel, just hop on a shuttle or bus right outside your resort and roll over to TerraCity. This place is the vibe—it’s one of Antalya’s top shopping centers, and trust me, it’s a total game-changer for your travel shopping spree.
TerraCity Shopping Center
Fener, Tekelioğlu Cd. No:55, 07160 Muratpaşa/Antalya, Türkiye
Hours: Daily 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
You’ll find all your fav brands in one spot: adidas, Twist, Camper, Decathlon, Marks & Spencer, Jimmy Key, Vakkorama, Calvin Klein—basically, the best stores in Antalya are right here, plus some exclusive ones you won’t want to miss. And yep, a lot of shops also have a spot in MarkAntalya (another shopping mall in the city), but TerraCity is sooo good for its chill vibes and selection. Perfect place to update your look or grab those last-minute gifts!
It’s only about a 30-minute by bus from all the big resort hotels, so there’s really no excuse not to check it out. Forget those tiny market stalls—level up your shopping game and make your Antalya trip iconic! 🛍️💅

Antalya
Sounds strange?
But most people only realize it after their first walk.
In the morning, Antalya smells of fresh coffee, orange trees, and sea air. A few minutes later, the narrow streets of Kaleici give way to a bustling marina, and fifteen minutes later, you're standing on a viewing platform where sheer cliffs plunge straight into the turquoise Mediterranean.
This is the city's main secret.
Here, you don't have to choose between the beach, history, or beautiful views—everything is literally minutes away.
📍 What to do
· Get lost in the labyrinth of the old town of Kaleici.
· Descend to the old harbor and watch the sunset by the water.
· Climb to the Düden Waterfall, where the river plunges directly into the sea.
· Spend the evening in one of the restaurants overlooking the cliffs and the bay.
💰 How to spend less on food in Antalya
🥙 Avoid eating near the main tourist streets. Walk 5-10 minutes away from Kaleiçi—prices are often 30-50% lower, and the portions are larger.
🍢 Try local lokantas (lokanta). These are small, family-run cafes where Turks themselves eat lunch every day. Home-cooked meals, large portions, and reasonable prices.
🥐 Have a Turkish breakfast. A traditional breakfast with tea, cheese, olives, and fresh bread is often cheaper than the typical European breakfast.
🍉 Buy fruit at markets. Watermelons, melons, peaches, figs, and cherries are significantly cheaper here than in tourist shops.
💧 Buy water from supermarkets. A bottle can cost several times more in small shops and near beaches.
🌯 Don't pass up street food. Gözleme, döner, simit, and köfte are not only delicious but also a great way to eat on a budget.
💡 Tip: If you see almost no locals at a cafe and the menu is only in English and Russian, the prices are likely aimed at tourists. The best places are usually filled with Turks.
🏖️ When to go?
The best months are May, June, September, and October. The sea is already warm, and the heat is much more comfortable than in the height of summer.
📍 How to get there
Antalya Airport (AYT) is located just 15-20 minutes from the city center. You can get there by tram, Havaş bus, taxi, or transfer.
Antalya Museum
1. Kaleiçi Old Town ⭐
The historic heart of Antalya — narrow Ottoman streets, cafés, boutiques, Roman walls and the old harbor. Must visit, especially in the evening.
2. Düden Waterfalls 💦
One of Antalya’s signature natural attractions. The Lower Düden drops dramatically toward the Mediterranean.
3. Antalya Konyaaltı Plaj 🏖️
Excellent beach with the Taurus Mountains behind it. Great for swimming, sunset and walking along the promenade.
4. Perge Ancient City 🏛️
Impressive Roman ruins with colonnaded streets, stadium and ancient architecture. Around 18 km east of central Antalya.
5. Lara Beach 🌊
Better choice if you prefer sandy beaches and resort-style atmosphere. Lara is also known for its large beachfront hotels.
6. Kurşunlu Waterfall 🌿
A quieter, green alternative to Düden, surrounded by forest and walking trails.
7. Aspendos Ancient Theatre 🏛️
About an hour east of Antalya. Its Roman theatre is exceptionally well preserved and is one of the region’s major archaeological attractions.
8. Antalya Archaeological Museum 🏺
One of the best places to understand the ancient civilizations of the Antalya region, especially if you’re visiting Perge, Aspendos or Termessos.
9. Termessos Ancient City ⛰️
A spectacular ancient city high in the Taurus Mountains. Best for hiking + history, rather than a simple sightseeing stop.
10. Karaalioglu Park 🌅
Great panoramic views over the Mediterranean and Antalya cliffs. I recommend going around sunset, then walking toward Kaleiçi.

Kursunlu Waterfalls
#underratedspots
Kurşunlu Şelalesi Tabiat Parkı was one of the most pleasant surprises of my trip to Antalya. While most visitors spend their time on the beaches or exploring the old town, this beautiful nature park often doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
The waterfall itself is not the largest in Turkey, but the setting is what makes it special. Surrounded by pine trees, walking paths, small streams, and lush greenery, the entire area feels peaceful and refreshing.
What I enjoyed most was simply walking through the park and listening to the sound of the water. It felt like a completely different world compared to the busy tourist areas along the coast.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy nature and take a break from the city, Kurşunlu Waterfall is definitely worth a visit. In my opinion, it’s one of the most underrated natural spots near Antalya and a great addition to any itinerary.
Kaleici Old Town
With its turquoise Mediterranean waters, dramatic cliffs, ancient ruins, and charming old town, Antalya is one of Türkiye’s most beautiful destinations. Often called the Turkish Riviera, this coastal paradise perfectly combines history, nature, and seaside relaxation.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by Antalya’s stunning scenery. Crystal-clear waters meet golden beaches, while the backdrop of the Taurus Mountains creates a picture-perfect setting. Whether you’re strolling along the coast or exploring historic streets, every view feels postcard-worthy.
🏛️ One of the highlights is Kaleiçi, Antalya’s beautifully preserved old town. Its narrow cobblestone streets, Ottoman-era houses, boutique cafés, and historic landmarks create a magical atmosphere that transports visitors back in time.
🌊 Antalya is also home to breathtaking natural attractions. From the spectacular Düden Waterfalls flowing into the Mediterranean Sea to the region’s hidden coves and scenic beaches, nature lovers will find endless beauty to explore.
📸 Sunset along the harbor is an unforgettable experience. As the golden light reflects off the sea and ancient walls, Antalya reveals why it is considered one of the Mediterranean’s most enchanting cities.
👨👩👧 Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or as a couple, Antalya offers a perfect blend of culture, relaxation, and adventure.
