W Bangkok Hotel
Dinner at W Hotel | The Kitchen Table - A Dream Evening Buffet ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I must share my experience of dining at W Hotel! As someone who travels a lot, I can confidently say this is one of the best hotel dinners I've had in Thailand. Price: $40 🦞 Seafood - the absolute highlight! Fresh sashimi and sushi that rival specialized Japanese restaurants in quality. Every evening offers a rich selection, and the fish is incredibly fresh. As a seafood lover, I could spend the entire dinner in this section alone! 🥞 Teppanyaki station - my favorite! Here, the chef prepares pancakes right in front of you, and you can choose your toppings: · Beef 🥩 · Salmon 🐟 · Various vegetables 🥗 I especially loved the beef! And here's the best part - you can choose the doneness of the meat! Rare, medium, well-done - just like in a real steakhouse. The chef cooks it to your preference and serves it hot. Such personalized service at a buffet is rare! 🍾 Drinks There are two package options: · With alcohol · Without alcohol Everything is included in the dinner price - very cost-effective. A glass of wine or champagne with dinner? Perfect! The atmosphere is top-notch. 🍨 The only downside There’s very little ice cream - just one flavor. But considering the overall variety of the dinner, this is a minor issue. 💡 Why should you try it? ✅ Fresh ingredients, especially seafood ✅ Dishes are prepared in front of you and can be customized ✅ Professional and friendly staff ✅ Elegant evening ambiance ✅ Excellent value for money ⏰ Useful Information Restaurant: The Kitchen Table Location: W Hotel Tip: Arrive early to enjoy your dinner leisurely and try everything. Conclusion Instead of spending time searching for a dinner spot, indulge in this luxurious buffet at W Hotel. Quality, service, ambiance - everything is top-notch. Highly recommended for seafood lovers and those who appreciate quality! I’m having breakfast for dinner! 🌙
The Quarter Onnut by UHG
Vacations are all about lounging in the pool and soaking up the sun. I made a last-minute hotel switch on Trip.com this time, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. UGH has multiple branches across Bangkok. This time, I stayed near the familiar On Nut BTS Station. It’s slightly further away compared to Cross Vibe or Amber Hotel, but still only a 5-to-6-minute walk to the Skytrain. It’s conveniently surrounded by Lotus's mall, night market food stalls, and a massage street. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. With only seven floors, this hotel definitely fits the "small but beautiful" boutique vibe. There's a very affordable cafe on the first floor. A Lawson 108 convenience store is right next door, making it super easy to stock up on drinks and snacks. Back to the room—I booked a super large double room this time. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom area is separated by fluted glass and double-sided glass, which lets in great natural light without compromising privacy. Although there's no sofa, the room is equipped with a small table, making it a cozy spot for some late-night fruit, snacks, or a beer. The 7th-floor gym is fully equipped, and the rooftop infinity pool features a depth of 130 cm. The placement of the lounge chairs perfectly aligns with the sun's trajectory, showing a lot of thoughtful design. The front desk staff is friendly and speaks good English. Since it's close to the Skytrain, some reviews mentioned noise issues. I was a bit worried at first, but after checking in, I found it totally fine with minimal disturbance. I might have just been lucky to get a room further away from the tracks. 📍Address: 1 Sukhumvit 58 Alley, Phra Khanong Tai, Phra Khanong, Bangkok 10260 Thailand 🚗A 5-minute walk from On Nut BTS Station
ICONSIAM PARK
Walked into ICONSIAM just to look around… and somehow ended up spending way too long in the Pop Mart store. This is actually one of the biggest Pop Mart stores worldwide, and it even has a café inside. So you can literally sit there, open your blind boxes, and stay longer than you planned ☕️ If you’re into collectibles, blind boxes, or just cute designs, this place is hard to leave. Shelves full of Labubu, Molly, Skullpanda, and way more. You tell yourself “just one box”… and then suddenly you’re opening three 😅 Even if you’re not planning to buy anything, it’s still fun to walk through and see all the designs. Definitely one of the more unexpected stops in Bangkok. #travel #bangkok #thingstodo #iconsiam
Sala Rattanakosin Bangkok
SALA Rattanakosin Bangkok Dinner with a sunset view by the Chao Phraya River, great atmosphere, and million-dollar scenery in the heart of Bangkok. If you're looking for a restaurant with a great ambiance to relax and watch the sunset, this riverside spot is highly recommended. The view is absolutely breathtaking, especially in the evening when the sun is setting. The golden light reflecting on the Chao Phraya River creates an incredibly serene atmosphere. From the restaurant, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Chao Phraya River and Wat Arun on the opposite side. During sunset, the light gradually shifts from golden to orange, transitioning into a romantic nighttime ambiance. It's perfect for a casual meal, capturing beautiful photos, or having a special dinner with a loved one. The menu features both Thai and international cuisine, offering a wide variety of dishes with excellent flavors and beautifully presented plates. It's ideal for photography enthusiasts. Dining while enjoying the river view is truly a memorable experience. The recommended time to visit is around 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, which is when the sunset is at its peak. If you can secure a riverside table, you'll get the clearest view and the best photos. For anyone seeking a spot to watch the sunset in Bangkok with a great atmosphere and stunning views, this place is a must-try. You'll surely be impressed.

Bangkok has a tropical monsoon climate which it is means hot and humid year-round. But if you like the heat, the city is an ideal vacation spot no matter the season. Having said that, the most pleasant months to visit are from November to March when the heat and humidity are at their lowest. The monsoon season occurs from May to October, with September and October being Bangkok’s rainiest months. April is typically the hottest time when days can get sweltering with highs of 37 °C (99 °F), and the coldest time is December with temperatures averaging 26 °C (79 °F).Due to cooler and drier weather, crowds are at their peak in late Fall and Winter, and this is particularly true around the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Visitors should expect higher prices, and it’s advisable to book accommodations months in advance. Another peak period is during the Thai New Year (Songkran) in mid-April, a popular time for domestic tourists to descend on the city. The off-peak seasons in Bangkok are July and August which happen to be the monsoon season. But if you don’t mind the weather, this is a great time to go as there are many good deals on hotels and flights. April through June, September and October are the shoulder seasons.
