I stayed here for three nights and was quite disappointed with the experience. First of all, there was no kettle and no complimentary drinking water provided. The water bottles inside the fridge looked like they were free, but it turned out they were charged separately—something we only discovered at checkout, which felt very misleading. On the second day, the sink became clogged, and later that evening we even had electrical issues in the room. And also no fresh towels were provided through this day. Even the cheap instant coffee from the in-room coffee machine wasn’t complimentary—you have to pay extra for that too. Finally, be aware that the sauna is not located inside the hotel itself. You actually need to cross the street to access it, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, the facilities and service didn’t meet expectations, especially for the price. From the airport I took the Aeroexpress bus to Plaza Catalunya, from there I walked straight up a fashionable street for about 40 minutes to the hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30, but check-in was after 15:00. Luckily, the previous guest had already checked out and the room had been cleaned, and I was kindly checked in early. I would like to say a special word about the very very polite staff, especially Dmitry. I read the reviews and now I understand that people can be very capricious, and how could they write about bad staff, if they do everything possible for you and for your convenience. Everything was clean in the room, I liked everything. The room had everything you need, Wi-Fi worked well. What are the disadvantages? The hotel was far from my places of visit, but nearby, a little higher, is the metro station green lines Vallcarca. 3 minutes walk from the metro and you are at the hotel. First time staying at this hotel and if I have to overnight it Barcelona airport again. I will choose it once more. I was lucky with the timing of the shuttle service at the airport. I only have to wait five minutes and everything went very smoothly at check-in. The room is adequate in size but immaculately clean. I don’t know when the hotel was open, but it is impressively, bright, and clean and has a good vibe. The breakfast was outstanding. Because of my check like I didn’t experience the remaining amenities (Bar and Gym, but the latter looked quite impressive for a small transit hotel) the pool was closed for maintenance. Better value than the hotel on the airport itself definitely recommended. there was absolutely nothing that I could say a negative comment about. Perfect hotel. clean. in good location that you feel safe and next to metro l5 hopital. great staff. very welcoming. the only minus is that breakfast only at room and charges extra and that the rooms are a litttle old. yet quality ones. i recommmend it. i would go again. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located right above the train station which makes going everywhere convenient. There are supermarket nearby as well. I had some trouble at another hotel so I made a reservation the day before. Good points You can walk to the city center if you try hard. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. Close to the large Mercadona. Has a bathtub. No bedbugs. Relatively spacious room. Bad points When you take a shower, the water gets soaked outside and the gaskets around it have a lot of black mold. The mattress coils creak and it's not very comfortable to sleep in. Water in the fridge is charged for. Overall it's old-fashioned. It was good that I was able to make a reservation the day before, but it didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. I hope they renovate it or lower the price.
