East Side Gallery
#winterescape Ready to experience the city where history is written on the walls and the future is built in the clubs? Berlin is Europe’s ultimate paradox—a gritty, creative powerhouse that refuses to be defined. In 2026, the German capital is a masterclass in "Kiez" culture, where every neighborhood feels like a different world. Imagine standing before the towering Brandenburg Gate, a symbol of unity, then walking the open-air gallery of the East Side Gallery, where the Berlin Wall became a canvas for freedom. From the world-class museums of Museum Island to the hidden techno temples of Friedrichshain, Berlin is raw, authentic, and electric. It’s a city that doesn't ask you to fit in—it asks you to be yourself. Ready to dive into the underground? 📍 5 Tips for Your Berlin Expedition · Transportation: Buy an AB Zone ticket or the Berlin WelcomeCard. Use the U-Bahn and S-Bahn; they are the city’s veins. Pro-tip: Take Bus 100—it’s a public bus that doubles as a cheap sightseeing tour passing all major landmarks! · Best Time to Travel: May to September is glorious for "Späti" drinks by the canal. However, December is unbeatable for the nostalgic, traditional Christmas markets at Gendarmenmarkt. · Must-Visit Spots: The Reichstag Dome (book ahead for free!), the haunting Holocaust Memorial, and the vibrant Mauerpark on a Sunday for the world-famous bear-pit karaoke. · Suggested Itinerary: AM: History at Checkpoint Charlie and the Wall. Midday: Picnic at Tempelhofer Feld (an abandoned airport turned park). PM: Art at the Bunker, followed by dinner in Kreuzberg. · Photography Tips: For a cinematic vibe, shoot the U-Bahn yellow trains at Oberbaumbrücke. Use a Wide-Angle lens at the Government District for stunning minimalist architecture shots against the Spree River. #Berlin2026 #VisitBerlin #BerlinStreetArt #ExploreGermany #BerlinGram
Berlin
💪🏻 🇩🇪 All athletes and more are familiar with the German Ritter Sport. I recently discovered that Ritter Sport offers craft chocolate with a whole range of cocoa content up to 100%. I’ve tried 100% cocoa from other brands before, and even with my love for dark chocolate, it felt like eating shoe polish 😖 So, 72% is my go-to. It’s quite good, but for some reason, they’ve abandoned their signature square shape and made a solid bar instead. How are you supposed to break it? 🤔 I wish the chocolate were more user-friendly for 4 euros. They also have gluten-free and lactose-free options for hipsters 🤫 Unfortunately, I can’t comment on those. You can sample their chocolate at the interactive chocolate store in Berlin, located at Friedrichstraße 83, 10117 Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪
