Busan in July is truly a city made for summer 🌊 The moment you get off the plane, the salty, humid sea breeze mixed with heat hits you, instantly switching you from "work mode" to "vacation mode"—pure bliss ✈️【About flying to Busan】 In 2026, more direct flights to Busan are available, with routes from Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Qingdao flying straight to Gimhae Airport. Flight times are about 1.5–2 hours. Longhao Airlines just started direct flights from Hangzhou on July 22, flying every Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sun. Departing in the afternoon, you’ll land just in time to catch Busan’s evening glow—perfect timing ⚠️ From Gimhae Airport, take the light rail to Seomyeon Station, then transfer to subway lines 1 or 2. It takes about 40 minutes to reach Haeundae. Just use a T-money card, which you can recharge at convenience stores. Don’t waste 300–400 yuan on a taxi 🏨【Stay in a magical cliffside room】 ⛰️ The guesthouse is on a small hill near the tail end of Blue Line Park at Weopo Station in Haeundae. It’s a two-minute walk from the seaside trail, away from the main street’s noise. After passing a row of low houses, it suddenly gets quiet ⛰️ A whole wall of floor-to-ceiling windows faces the southeast sea 🌅 No alarm needed at 5 AM—sunlight wakes you up, and you can watch the sunrise dye the entire ocean red from your bed. The gradient colors are truly tear-jerking ⛰️ The balcony has a rattan lounge chair and a small tea table 🍵 In the evening, grab two cans of Cass beer and sit here to enjoy the sea breeze. Below is the Blue Line Park track, where you can watch the colorful capsule train slowly pass by, accompanied by the sound of waves. Life is worth it ✨ Day 1️⃣ Haeundae → Blue Line Park → Cheongsapo 🔵 Get to Haeundae Beach before 8 AM! It’s ridiculously empty, and you practically have the whole beach to yourself. Take photos wherever you want 🔵 Blue Line Park has two attractions: the coastal train (ground level) and the sky capsule (aerial monorail). Based on experience, take the coastal train from Weopo to Songjeong first, a 4.8 km ride, then switch to the capsule from Cheongsapo back to Weopo 🔵 For the sky capsule, be sure to choose the side facing the sea! A two-person cabin costs just over 20,000 KRW. Book on the official website a week in advance. In summer, waiting in line on-site can take up to 2 hours 🔵 Cheongsapo Station has a skywalk with a glass floor extending over the sea. Looking down at waves crashing on rocks is thrilling but makes your legs weak. Great for photos Day 2️⃣ Gamcheon Culture Village → Yeongdo Taejongdae → Nampo-dong 🟡 Gamcheon Culture Village has free admission! Start from the "Guide Center" at the top and walk downhill. Buy a stamp booklet for 2,000 KRW, collect stamps along the way, and take photos. The downhill walk isn’t tiring 🟡 The Little Prince statue photo spot has a long line, so I skipped it. Actually, every alley below is full of colorful candy-like houses, perfect for casual photos 🟡 Taejongdae is at the southern tip of Yeongdo Island. Take the 20-minute circular train ride for 3,000 KRW. The three stops are the observatory, lighthouse, and Taejongsa Temple 🟡 Be sure to get off at the lighthouse stop! Standing on the cliff edge watching waves hit the rocks is breathtaking. On a clear day, you can see Tsushima Island. The grandeur can’t be captured in photos 🟡 In the evening, head to BIFF Square in Nampo-dong. Fish cake skewers and red bean pancakes are must-tries. Enjoy the night market at the international market while snacking Day 3️⃣ Haedong Yonggungsa Temple → Songdo Marine Cable Car → Gwangalli Night Beach 🟢 Yonggungsa Temple has free admission and is open from 4 AM to 8 PM. I highly recommend going before sunrise! The temple is built on a seaside cliff, and the sun rising over the horizon shines on the golden Buddha statue, cleansing your soul 🟢 It’s about a 20-minute taxi ride from Yonggungsa to Songdo. The marine cable car offers regular cabins and crystal cabins (with transparent floors). The crystal cabin costs 5,000 KRW more but is totally worth it, with the sea right beneath your feet 🟢 Gwangalli is a local favorite beach, much quieter than Haeundae! At night, the Gwangandaegyo Bridge lights up and reflects on the water. Sitting on the beach watching the light show is the perfect way to spend summer 💡【Tips and essentials】 ✅ Visa: Get your e-visa in advance, print it out, and fill out the arrival card on the plane ✅ Internet: WiFi egg rentals are available at Gimhae Airport arrivals, but buying a local SIM card is more reliable. A 7-day unlimited data plan costs about 150 yuan ✅ Payment: Cash is king in Korea. Exchange some won before you go. Big malls accept Alipay, but small shops usually don’t ✅ Sunscreen: UV rays in Busan in July are intense! Use SPF 50+ sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses ✅ Transportation card: The T-money card works for subways, buses, and convenience stores. Buy one at the airport convenience store for 2,500 KRW; top-ups cost extra You’ll really fall in love with Busan in summer. It’s chill and photogenic, and the sea breeze blows all your worries away 🫧 ——————————————————

Boasting an unbeatable ocean view, the rooms come equipped with a kitchen island, a washing machine, and a microwave. Incredible value for money 💯! A top-tier, must-stay hotel to fully enjoy your vacation!! 🏖 The location is absolutely fantastic! Both the front and back entrances lead right out to bustling streets. There's a CU convenience store right next to the front door. Just 10 meters ahead on the right is Gaemijip (Spicy Stir-fried Octopus)... A 3-minute walk to the left takes you to the traditional market, offering street food, cosmetics, snacks, and groceries... it has everything. Directly across from the back entrance are internet-famous restaurants with long queues: Obanjang BBQ and Haemok (Eel Rice)... 🏠 The room layout is amazing! We booked a 3-person suite featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 spacious living room, and an L-shaped kitchen (with an island). A washing machine is neatly tucked under the island. Each room is incredibly spacious, and the mattresses and pillows are exceptionally comfortable and supportive—we slept perfectly every night!! Both the bedrooms and the living room have balconies. The living room is super large, making it the perfect spot to gather, chat, and enjoy late-night snacks while taking in the breathtaking ocean view! The design of every bathroom feels very premium. It also comes with 2 large-capacity refrigerators and a microwave. The price in late June was only 5,754/day! We were so surprised and absolutely loved it, ending up staying for 4 consecutive nights! It's officially on our must-stay list for next time. The only downside is that Uber navigation is still a bit inaccurate here; drivers would often overshoot or have to circle back around. By the second day, we learned to give the driver a heads-up early on our return trip, and they got it~ Suggested itinerary (best to stay 2~3 nights): An 8-minute walk straight ahead takes you to the beach Walk along the promenade → Mipo, about 10~15 minutes (CLUB D OASIS. If you're flying out of Gimhae Airport, you might be wondering, "Should I really use a lounge?" Because Gimhae Airport is relatively smaller than Incheon Airport, there aren't many dedicated spaces to just sit back and relax! If you arrive at the airport early, I highly recommend hitting up a lounge to rest comfortably and grab a bite :D If you pay at the door, lounge access costs: ✔️ Adult: $45 USD ✔️ Child: $19 USD With the exchange rate so high right now, it comes out to around 66,000 KRW for an adult... While it's over 60,000 KRW for a walk-in, booking online only costs around 30,000 KRW.
