Gimhae International Airport
When arriving at Gimhae Airport in Busan, passengers are often instructed via in-flight announcements to "Please close the window shades due to airport security regulations." This is because Gimhae Airport is a shared facility with a military base. As a result, photographing the runway, military-related facilities, or areas outside the airport is strictly prohibited. The instruction to close window shades upon arrival is a security measure to prevent passengers from taking photos of the surroundings. However, photography inside the airport is generally allowed. As long as you avoid restricted areas or special zones, there should be no issues. The terminal also features cute photo spots, so feel free to take commemorative pictures inside the airport. Knowing this little tidbit can make your travel experience more comfortable. Airport Access: · Approximately 30–40 minutes from downtown Busan · Direct connection to Airport Station via Busan Metro Gimhae Light Rail (BGL) · Transfer at Sasang Station on Metro Line 2

Busan
We're Nicolena, a Japanese-Italian couple who love traveling around Asia and for great value. ✈︎ We previously introduced 8 Busan gourmet foods, but this time we've compiled them into a reel. 😉 We thought some people might want to watch them all in full on video. 👍 Being a port city, Busan had a ton of amazing seafood. 😍 The haemultang (seafood hotpot) and grilled shellfish are especially must-try dishes. ✨ We found Busan's food to be generally tastier, more affordable, and extremely cost-effective than Seoul's. 😉💰 Our favorites are the seafood hotpot and grilled shellfish! The seafood hotpot was lavishly loaded with abalone, crab, shrimp, shellfish, and squid, and we had a small portion for two for just over ¥5,000, so it was great value for money! 💫 The shellfish restaurant was located along Gwangalli Beach, and we enjoyed the ocean view and the illuminated Gwangan Bridge from the window. 🏖️🌉 Please save this photo and go back! 📌 ① The Masterpiece Haemultang Chogaegui (더명품해물탕조개구이) 📍10 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro 265beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan Hours: Daily 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM Nearest Station: Haeundae Station ② Machangdeulwang Sogeumgui, Seomyeon Branch (맛찬들왕소금구이 Seomyeon) 📍24-3, Jungang-daero 691beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan Hours: 11:30 AM - 11:00 PM daily Nearest station: Seomyeon Station ③Josaeho (조새호) 📍199, Gwanganhaeangil, Suyeong-gu, Busan Hours: 12:00 PM - 4:00 AM daily Nearest station: Geumnyeonsan Station ④Pohang Daegi Gukbap (포항돼지국밥) 📍27, Seomyeon-ro 68beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan Hours: Open 24 hours Nearest station: Seomyeon Station ⑤Gaemijip Seomyeon Branch (개미집 Seomyeon Station) 📍73, Sincheon-daero 62beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan Hours: Open 24 hours Nearest station: Seomyeon Station ⑥Bupyeong-dong Maetdelbindaet 2nd Branch (부평동맷돌빈대떡 2호점) 📍27, Bupyeong 2-gil, Jung-gu, Busan Hours: Mon 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tue-Thu 11:30 AM - 11:00 PM, Fri-Sat 11:30 AM - 12:00 AM Nearest station: Jagalchi Station ⑦Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter Seomyeon Main Branch (춘하추동밀면) (Main Station) 📍48-1 Munhwa-ro, Seomyeon, Busanjin-gu, Busan Hours: Summer 10:00 AM - 9:30 PM, Winter 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Nearest Station: Seomyeon Station ⑧ Igane Tteokbokki (이가네떡볶이 Main Station) 📍48 Bupyeong 1-gil, Jung-gu, Busan Hours: Mon-Sat 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Closed: Mondays Nearest Station: Jagalchi Station *Prices and service details were confirmed at the time of posting. Haeundae Beach
Before going: "What's so fun there? I'd rather shop in Seoul." After going: "It's so chill, I regret not coming sooner! 🥹🥹🥹" Seriously, I thought Jeju was beautiful until I went to Busan… 📝Personal itinerary for reference: 🔸Day 1: 👉🏻Morning: Seoul → Busan, take KTX (buy tickets online in advance 🎫 or offline, but popular times might sell out) (Seoul Station has several luggage storage points (self-pay)); 👉🏻Afternoon: Check into Park Hyatt Busan, located in Haeundae. Relied entirely on Uber for transportation, but the scenery was absolutely stunning. That evening, explored Haeundae + Gwangalli, with food and shopping. 🔸Day 2: 👉🏻Daytime: Haeundae Beach Train (sea view train), Songjeong → Cheongsapo (Little Kamakura). Tickets can be bought at the ticket office. Ate grilled shellfish and large meat skewers, the cafes were also very nice~ 👉🏻Sunset: Sky Capsule Train: Booked the sunset time online a week in advance. I booked late so I only got the inner track, but it was just as beautiful (Cheongsapo → Mipo)~ 👉🏻Evening: Nampo-dong + BIFF Square~ 🔸Day 3: 👉🏻Noon: Songdo Marine Cable Car. Bought a round-trip crystal cabin ticket. On the way there, it wasn't crowded so we got a private cabin. On the way back, it was crowded and we shared, so I recommend going in the morning. PS: The cable car ride is less than 5 minutes, take pictures quickly 😭. 👉🏻Afternoon: Huinnyeoul Culture Village, my favorite place on the whole trip, I didn't want to leave... The foot bath cafe was fully booked, no spots left. The sea view instant noodle shop was a bit disappointing; it was quite remote and small, though the scenery was nice. All the other cafes were great! Also found two vintage shops by the same owner. If I had more time, I would have bought seven or eight items, but I only bought two in the end!! 👉🏻Evening: Take KTX back to Seoul~
