Chengdu People's Park
My wife and I were flying from St. Petersburg to Vietnam with a layover in Chengdu. We had just 9.5 hours to briefly explore the city and get at least a taste of what China was like. After an hour of filling out transit visa paperwork, changing clothes, and trying to figure out where everything was, we hopped on the metro. The airport is 70 kilometers from the city, and I was surprised that we reached the center in an hour, and the fare was only 122 rubles each. What do you think of that, guys from Metrostroy and the St. Petersburg Metro? Going out into the city, strolling through the parks, and visiting the Chinese market in an authentic location – all for free. While we were walking, we got ourselves some ice cream in a panda cone for 280 rubles, and my wife an iced latte for 220 rubles. Then we took a taxi to the central square – 115 rubles. We couldn't figure out the local cuisine even with a translator, so we found a sushi bar with a runner where the color of the plate indicated the price. We spent 540 rubles between us. So, for the whole day in China, we spent 1,645 rubles for two, or 822 rubles for one person. I think that's very cheap. What do you think? #Chengdu

Kuanzhai Alleys
I went to a retro POP MART. The LABUBU stands out against the old streets of Kuanzhaixiangzi in Chengdu, a city rich in history. Address: No. 21 Kuanzhaixiangzi, Changshun Shang Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province (next to Yiding Coffee). Area: In the historic Kuanzhaixiangzi Alleys. Atmosphere: A mix of old-fashioned building exteriors, pop art, and street culture—a classic mix of modern toys. Features The store is two stories tall, with a large LABUBU mascot on the upper floor, making it a popular photo spot. From classics to limited editions, POP MART offers a wide selection of blind box toys, figurines, and miscellaneous goods, making it a "holy land" for collectors and fans. The store's layout and design are conscious of "old-fashioned x modern street," allowing customers to enjoy more than just shopping: they can also take photos, stroll around, and soak up the city's atmosphere. #WideAndNarrowAlleys #Labu #Chengdu
