Panda Valley
#chinaadventures Chengdu Panda Valley is an excellent place for close-up viewing of giant pandas. Compared to the panda bases in downtown Chengdu, it has fewer visitors and a more natural environment, making it especially suitable for family trips. Here is a one-day travel guide: 🚗 Suggested Itinerary: Morning: Depart → Visit Panda 🐼 1. Transportation (Approx. 1.5 hours) Self-driving: Start from downtown Chengdu, navigate to "Panda Valley," take the Chengguan Expressway to Dujiangyan. The total distance is about 70 km. High-speed train 🚄 + taxi 🚕: Take the high-speed train from Chengdu Xipu Station to "Dujiangyan Station" (30 minutes), then take a taxi for about 15 minutes to reach the park. 2. Park Visit (Recommended arrival before 8:30 AM) Opening hours: 7:30–17:00 (Arrive early to avoid crowds, and pandas are more active in the morning). Tour route: Entrance → Giant Panda Villa → Red Panda Ecological Free-Range Area → Panda Hospital (the entire walk takes about 2–3 hours). Highlights 🌟: Observe pandas eating bamboo, climbing trees, and other natural behaviors in the Giant Panda Villa area. In the Red Panda free-range area, you may encounter red pandas roaming freely. Stay quiet and do not 🚫 feed them. 🌈 Family-Friendly Tips 🔔: 1. Essential items: Sun hats and mosquito repellent for children, lightweight stroller (the park has ramps). Bring drawing supplies and a notebook for kids to sketch pandas. 2. Safety reminders: Do not touch red pandas, and prevent children from chasing them. The park has many steps and slopes, so keep a close eye on young children. Take your kids to see the pandas 🐼 up close and enjoy an immersive experience! #china #naturalwonders #panda #chengdutrip

✨We started by flying from Suvarnabhumi Airport. We flew with Vietjet Airline ✈️. The flight was about 3 hours, arriving at Tianfu Chengdu Airport. Then we took a car to the hotel. We didn't do any sightseeing on the first day; we rested to save for tomorrow's adventures. The hotels we stayed in were 4-star every night – amazing! ✨The next morning, we had a buffet breakfast at the hotel 🥗🥓 and then took a 5-hour drive to Four Sisters Mountain ⛰️, a 5A-rated tourist attraction. The route we chose was Shuangqiaogou Valley. This route involves a 2-hour drive by the park's shuttle, which stops at three spots for photos. You can get on the shuttle at any time as it's a shuttle. It didn't snow the day we went, which was a shame 😂, but the view was amazing! The water was so cold it was frozen – perfect for photos! After that, we took a car to Dujiangyan city and stopped for lunch. This meal included Peking duck – it was fantastic! ✨Then we went to see the panda selfie 🐼 at Yangtianwu Square. The panda weighs over 130 tons, it's huge! After that, we walked a little further to see the Nanqiao Bridge (南桥), a dam over 2,000 years old. To our eyes, it looked like a green stream, but in the photos, the water is blue – it's beautiful. We're staying here tonight. We change hotels every night depending on the tourist attractions because they're very far apart. You have to be prepared for this! ✨Day three: Disappointed that it didn't snow at Si Da Nui, today we're taking a 3-hour drive to see the snow at Wawu Mountain (瓦屋山), a 4A-level tourist attraction 2,800 meters above sea level. You have to take a cable car up to get this view. This mountain is considered the largest table mountain in the world. It's incredibly beautiful, like something out of a movie or a fairytale. Then we went back to rest at our leisure. Breakfast at this hotel is pretty much like this. ✨Next, we went to Mount Emei (峨眉山 Éméi Shān), one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China, where a majestic statue of the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra stands prominently for Chinese people to worship and pray for blessings. 🙏🏻 💕In the evening, we went to the SKP mall. I have to say, the decor is very modern. The mall is in the basement, while the upper floor has a bamboo fountain that Thai people love to take pictures with. I'll let you in on a secret: this mall has Butterful pastries! They're amazing, you should try them! Tonight we're staying at this hotel. It's great, 4 stars every night. ✨After breakfast at the hotel, we went to the Chunxi Road pedestrian street (春熙路). Everything here is themed – Starbucks, Heytea, everything is decorated in the same theme. This is China, a city built by gods! Here, you'll find a lot of adorable panda figurines for sale, and they're all at good prices. If you're looking for souvenirs, check this place out! 🐼🧋 ✨Then we'll go eat Sichuan hot pot 🥘. This restaurant has all-you-can-eat, you can order as much as you want and eat for as many hours as you like – it's amazing! After that, we'll visit Daci Temple (大慈寺), where Xuanzang once resided. This temple is right on Taikooli pedestrian street, surrounded by shopping malls – amazing! 🐼Then we'll go see the panda climbing the building at IFS Building. If you don't just want to see its butt, I recommend going up to the 7th floor. You'll get to see the adorable panda playing peek-a-boo! 💕 People were lining up to take pictures. This building also has Heytea, and their matcha is so delicious – I want to drink ten cups every day! Ending this trip with a stroll around the area 👩🏻🧑🏻💕✨ #Chengdu #ChengduFourYoungLadies #chengdu #IFSChengdu #ChengduTrip

🐼 Exploring Chengdu 7 Days 6 Nights 🐼📌 Chengdu has so many attractions to offer! This is my second trip to Chengdu this year. The first time was with my mom, and this time I’m traveling with friends. So, I decided to go all out and plan a 7-day, 6-night trip tailored to my preferences. The itinerary I created almost covers everything on my list, but not entirely 🤣. Most of the time was spent traveling between cities. If you’re planning to visit Chengdu, feel free to follow my plan. You’ll almost cover everything, but be prepared for a fully exhausting yet fulfilling experience!

This isn't just a restaurant, but a true performance in the spirit of ancient China: hot pot, music, a theater stage, and waiters in period costumes. Everything looks very impressive and atmospheric. Yes, everything is in Chinese, but the staff helped with translating the dishes, and during the show, English subtitles were on the screens, making the gist of the event clear even without knowing the language. 🍲 The hot pot is delicious, but with unexpected ingredients (some might surprise you 😅). But the experience and atmosphere are definitely worth the visit. 📍 Chengdu ⏳ ~2.5 hours 💰 about 6,000₽ per person (VIP, 2nd row) A great option for a first introduction to Chinese culture.
