🏝️Kualoa Ranch🏝️ Kualoa Ranch has been a filming location for numerous movies! Besides the filming locations, there are a variety of tours available! I wanted to take a yacht tour to see the Na Pali Coast in Kauai, but it was difficult to get there without a rental car, and the accommodations were incredibly expensive. So, instead, I looked into Kualoa Ranch's Voyage Tour. ⛵️⛵️ I was a bit worried because there weren't many reviews, but the captain and staff were friendly and took great pictures. The scenery and turtle shells were amazing! There are also various tours available, including ATV, jungle jeep, and horseback riding, so choose the one that suits your needs! The ATV tour offers the most freedom, but you'll need a driver's license. The Jurassic Park tour, which only goes to filming locations, was often criticized as being too boring. A similar tour is the jungle jeep tour! I did the jungle jeep tour. The guide was friendly, and the jeep ride was fun :) While we didn't get to the Jurassic Park filming locations, we were able to see them, which was great! You can also bundle tours, so book the one that best suits your needs.☺️☺️ ✔️Tip - They also offer a shuttle service, so you can get there comfortably without having to rent a car! - If you get seasick, be sure to take motion sickness medication! #falladventures Pictures don’t do justice like the eyes do – it was so beautiful! I felt like I was in Jurassic Park (it really was filmed here!). Lush tropical jungle, giant ferns, bamboo forests, banyan arches & a stunning 150ft waterfall at the end. 💚🕊️ Why go? Easy escape into real Hawaiian rainforest without leaving Honolulu. Short, family-friendly hike (1.6 mi RT, ~1-1.5 hrs). Feels worlds away from the beach but only 15 min drive from town. Movie vibes + incredible greenery! How to get there By car $7 parking (cash/card, opens ~8am). Or take Bus #5 from Ala Moana/Waikiki straight to the valley. When to go Early morning (arrive 8-9am) for fewer crowds, cooler temps & easier parking. Avoid midday rush. Year-round ok, but after rain the falls roar & trail is muddier – wear grippy closed-toe shoes & bring bug spray/rain jacket! No reservation needed, trail free, no swimming (rocks/bacteria). Just pure paradise vibes. Go – you’ll thank yourself! 🌧️✨

⛰️Diamond Head⛰️ Diamond Head is a volcanic mountain with a well-maintained trail that makes for easy trekking. :) However, it's a bit more of a climb than you might think, so I recommend wearing sneakers! Even in winter, it's quite hot during the day, so I usually go early in the morning to see the sunrise. However, I wasn't confident enough to go early, so I made a reservation for 4:00 AM to see the sunset. :) It was still hot at 4:00 PM, but I was glad I got to see the sunset!
