First, I took a breather at the I.A.S.S Hawaii Lounge, which is accessible with eligible credit cards or a Priority Pass. It's a great place to relax quietly with a soft drink. This lounge only offers soft drinks; there is no food service. After resting up, I headed over to the Cultural Gardens located inside the airport. Made up of three distinct gardens—Chinese, Japanese, and Hawaiian—it features ponds, bridges, and waterfalls. It has such a peaceful vibe, you'll forget you're even in an airport! It was the perfect way to soak in the Hawaiian scenery right up until boarding. Hello 🌼 I'm Sese Mama, traveling the world with my kids using miles 🌏 Even though it was Golden Week, we were able to enjoy the benefits of staying at the Moana Surfrider ✨ (Depending on room availability!) Hawaii doesn't have a lounge, and breakfast is continental, but with the current weak yen and high prices, even continental breakfast is incredibly appreciated 🙏 Also, our family chose breakfast, but you can choose between 1000 points, a gift, or breakfast! We received two beach bar drink tickets at check-in, although I'm not sure if that's a Platinum benefit 🥹 Also, even though it was a points stay, we received 850 points at the Marriott Vacation Club counter! And (there's more lol) Completely unrelated to Platinum status, we received a welcome lei, a Moana shopping bag, and body cream in the resort fee 💕 Finally! There were plenty of activities too! I didn't participate, but I'll include the details in the highlights ☺️ I stayed at the Moana Surfrider using 200,000 points and a resort fee of 40,000 yen! (5 nights during Golden Week)

Hello 🌼 I'm Sese Mama, traveling the world with my child using miles ✈️ During Golden Week from April 28th to May 3rd, 2026, I stayed at the coveted Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, which celebrated its 125th anniversary, on Waikiki Beach ✨ I'm so happy I was able to stay at the Moana, which normally costs 310,000 yen for 5 nights, for 200,000 points 🥹 Approximately 40,000 yen was the resort fee 💰 📍Opened in 1901, it's Waikiki's oldest resort hotel Affectionately known as the "White Palace" and the "First Lady of Waikiki" ♡ 🏨Location Right in the heart of Waikiki, with the beach right in front Across the street is the International Market Place And on the same street is the Royal Hawaiian Center ABC Super convenient with a convenience store and Lawson nearby. 🛏️Guest Rooms Just renovated in 2026, sparkling clean✨ Open the lanai for a partial ocean view🏝️💗 There are almost no amenities, so bring your own toothbrush, etc.! 🌳Banyan Tree Eating breakfast while looking at the symbolic large banyan tree was absolutely amazing They lend you towels when you go to the pool or beach♡ I'm also interested in the Sheraton and Royal Hawaiian, but I want to come back to Moana again🥹💖

Perfect for a quick snack 🙌 ② Shrimp 🦐 Dishes Hawaiian shrimp are huge, plump, and absolutely delicious 🤤 ③ The Cheesecake Factory While you can find them all over the US and not just in Hawaii, the interior of this location is incredibly stylish and lovely 💓 [Acai] ① Bean About Town Waikiki The acai bowl here was loaded with various toppings like yogurt, chocolate chips, and peanut butter, making it so tasty. The vibe was very relaxing, making it a great spot to hang out for a while. ② Waffle and Berry The acai bowls here are incredibly generous in size. Plus, you get to add as much granola, coconut, and honey as you want. ③ ALOH Health Bar & Cafe Since this spot is open until 10 PM, I decided to stop by when I was craving a late-night acai bowl ✌️ They offer three different sizes, which is great if you have a big appetite. The acai was smooth, delicious, and topped with coconut. ④ Island Vintage Coffee This bowl was packed with granola, and the chill of the acai paired perfectly with the crunch of the granola, making it super delicious. It's a chain, so I noticed a few locations around Waikiki Beach. [Activities] ① 🐬 Dolphin Watching (up to around £150) Take a boat ride about an hour off the west coast of Oahu, and you can go see wild dolphins ✨ And the chances of spotting them are super high!! It can get rocky, so don't forget your motion sickness meds!! ② Parasailing 🪂 (around £60) Get a bird's-eye view of Oahu!! The view of the crystal-clear ocean is just breathtaking ♪ You slowly descend until you gently touch the seawater before landing. ③ 🔫 Shooting Range Experience We've all fantasized about those action movie 🎬 gunfight scenes at least once, right? Well, you can try out shooting for yourself in Hawaii!! 📍Hawaii Waikīkī Gun Club [Sightseeing] Honestly, just a stroll along the beach is incredible. 📍 International Market Place If you're looking to shop, this is the place!! You'll find plenty of Hawaii-themed souvenirs here 🫶 📍 88 Tees Hawaii Inc. A famous T-shirt shop frequented by tons of celebrities.
