Pantai Cenang
Dreamy beach days, killer sunsets, and trend-video-worthy moments—here’s how our girls trip to Langkawi and Cannes went down! 🌅🌊 If you’re all about golden hour, sea breeze, and outdoor vibes, this guide’s for you.
Langkawi Must-Do’s
Pantai Cenang (07000, Kedah, Malaysia; open all day): This is the spot for sunrise chasers and sunset lovers. Start your day with a sunrise stroll, then dive into water activities—kayaking, jetskiing, or just floating with your crew. The flat sandy stretch is perfect for content: trend videos, cute group pics, or freelance photoshoots. Sunset is the main event—bring your camera for those glowy-pink sky shots! Insider tip: Arrive 30 minutes before sunset to snag the best spot and beat the crowds.
Kalut Cafe And Bar (2, Jalan Pantai Chenang, Kampung Lubok Buaya, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah): When you need a break, Kalut keeps the beach vibes high with solid food, insta-ready drinks, beachfront beanbags, and soundtrack for your sunset scenes. Go for the BBQ skewers—they hit different post-swim!
Essential Tips:
Getting around: Grab a taxi or hop on a scooter—Langkawi’s drives are all about the breeze and quick beach hops.
What to eat: Don’t skip local seafood (grilled fish, squid), coconut shakes, and any BBQ you can find along the strip.
Weather watch: Pack light—think tank tops, sunscreen, and sun hats. Tropical, so showers come and go.
Keep cash handy—some local eateries or activity stalls don’t take cards.
This trip = good vibes, nature therapy, and ace content for your feed. 🌴💛
Absolutely must do thing is sunset photo shoots. You’ll have absolutely wonderful trend insta worthy photos and videos 📷

3D Art in Paradise Langkawi
Langkawi, Cannes, and Nara Prefecture — three insanely diverse stops with their own flavors 🌏💫! Coolest highlight? Snapping wild pics inside 3D Art in Paradise Langkawi — it's basically an Instagram fever dream.
Top Spots to Visit:
Langkawi: 3D Art in Paradise Langkawi
📍 Address: Jalan Telaga Tujuh, 07100 Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia
🕘 Hours: Open daily, 09:00–18:30
Tips: Grab your ticket (RM 89) right at the counter, it covers ALL zones plus the Sky Cab ride. Arrive early (doors open at 9am — less crowds, more shots!). Don’t sweat transport, just call a Grab taxi for best price and convenience 🚗. This massive museum has 5-6 themed zones — think underwater worlds, surreal landscapes, and quirky Western-style architecture, all designed for those epic photo ops.
Cannes: Get lost in gorgeous Western-style architecture and open-air landscapes. Cannes’s outdoor vibes are perfect for strolls and spontaneous photo shoots — even cloudy/rainy days make the streets pop for moody backgrounds.
Nara Prefecture: Nara National Museum
📍 Explore classic Japanese art and artifacts, plus any sunny days are golden for outdoor activities around the museum gardens.
Wrap-Up:
How to Get Around: In Langkawi, Grab app is your taxi hack (super cheap, reliable). In Cannes and Nara, rely on local buses/trains — both cities have excellent signage in English.
Food Recommendations: Langkawi is all about street food — hit up local hawker stalls for satay and laksa. Cannes offers French bistros (grab croissants or fresh seafood). Nara? Try matcha desserts and Japanese pastries near the museum.
Key Tips: Tickets for attractions? Buy at the door for best value, especially in Langkawi. Weather in Cannes and Nara shifts fast — so pack one umbrella and some layered clothing.
You should take your friend to go with, so you can enjoy it more and have so many pictures afterwards ✌️

Pantai Cenang
There are tons of cafes around Cenang Beach, but finding one that opens early in the morning is a real challenge. Well, we finally found one!
📍 Rivera Coffee House on Langkawi is located right by Cenang Beach. The cafe is situated right next to the road, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it.
🏠 The space inside is quite small and rectangular. On one side, there's a pastry display and the checkout counter, and on the other, there are tables for seating.
🍛 We went with the Malaysian breakfast, Nasi Lemak Telur Mata. It was our first time trying a local breakfast here. The food was served on a palm leaf with a generous portion of rice and some anchovies. The little fish were incredibly delicious!
🍜 Tom Yum Spaghetti — that was definitely an interesting flavor combo.
🍝 As for the Carbonara, the ham on top wasn't that great, and it lacked that rich sauce that usually gives Carbonara its signature taste.
🥮 The Carrot Cake was absolutely delicious — I highly recommend giving it a try!
☕️ They also have a huge selection of coffee. I got a Latte; just look at how beautifully it was presented.
We were super happy to find such a great spot to grab breakfast at 9 AM.
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi
Absolutely perfect in every way.
The room was spacious and adorable, and the view from it was just incredible. I booked the most affordable room, but they upgraded me to an ocean view!
They were super quick to respond on WhatsApp, and information seemed to be shared seamlessly among the staff, resulting in top-notch service and smooth interactions.
Also, the sheer scale of the private beach and the beauty of the sunset were truly breathtaking.
I honestly can't believe the price given this level of quality.
It's definitely become one of the hotels I want to visit again.
Tanjung Rhu Beach
Sometimes the best moments are the peaceful ones. For pure chill, Tanjung Rhu Beach in Langkawi is totally worth the day trip 🌊☀️
The vibe: Imagine a stretch of soft, powder-white sand, practically empty, with sparkling turquoise water and distant green islands on the horizon. Day or night, the sky here is unreal, all dramatic blues and fluffy white clouds, plus stunning sunrise and sunset views if you time it right. Nature lovers, this place is #scenerygoals.
Top Thing To Do:
Head to Tanjung Rhu Beach (Langkawi, Malaysia—about 30 mins from Kuah Town). It’s free, open 24/7, and the sand and sea are next-level clean. Walk along the shore, watch the sun dip, and soak up the peaceful vibes. There are a few shady trees if you want to read or nap away from the sun. Pro tip: Bring your own snacks because food spots are limited and the isolation is what makes it magical.
Getting Around: Renting a scooter or car is the move for exploring Langkawi—public transport can’t reach these hidden beaches. Parking is usually free and easy.
What To Eat: Try local seafood at nearby roadside stalls once you leave the beach—grilled fish or laksa hits the spot after all that sun.
Hot Tips:
Bring water, sunscreen, and a power bank—cell coverage is good but there aren’t many shops. Best hours are early morning or late afternoon for the epic light and empty beach.

Pantai Cenang
Choosing a hotel for a family trip can be really stressful—you want convenience, fun, and peace of mind. This resort hotel makes kids not want to leave at all 👍
📍First, let's talk about location and transportation
It's less than a 15-minute drive from the airport, which is a huge plus when traveling with kids to avoid hassle. The hotel is right next to Cenang Beach, with a one-kilometer stretch of white sand right at your doorstep. Staying in a ground-floor island view room means you open the balcony door and step straight onto the sand! Every morning, the kids rush out to dig in the sand while the mom can just relax on the beach chair. It’s much quieter than the sea view side, so you don’t have to worry about disturbing others. The beach is open but overall very safe, and the hotel offers shuttle service, making it easy to get anywhere.
There’s no 7-Eleven at the corner, but the hotel has a small supermarket! Hats, swimsuits, sand toys, souvenirs, fridge magnets, baseball caps—you name it. So no worries if you forget anything. The staff are very friendly and thoughtful, offering cold towels and drinks at check-in to cool you down.
🛁 Now about the facilities and stay experience
The rooms are standalone wooden cottages in a traditional Malay village style, with slanted roofs and exposed tiles, like living in a tropical fairy tale. The space is quite large; although some facilities are a bit dated, everything is very clean and tidy. Daily housekeeping, plenty of bottled water (4 large bottles), slippers, and toothbrushes provided. The air conditioning is very cool, making the overall comfort level high.
A few things to note: mosquitoes are real in tropical areas! There are quite a few in the room, but the mosquito repellent device they provide works well. Surprisingly, there are fewer mosquitoes outdoors. The rooms face west but don’t get too hot; if you mind, you can request a different orientation.
The public areas are perfect for kids! Two swimming pools, with a children’s splash area next to the main pool where kids don’t want to leave. The 35-acre award-winning garden is like a big park, with a lake, frangipani trees, coconut trees, and flame trees—every snapshot looks beautiful. There’s even a small farm where you can feed baby goats 🐑
No worries about food—you can order room service, including late-night snacks, which is much cleaner than takeout. There aren’t many dining options nearby, but the hotel covers everything.
⚠️ Family travel tips:
Always stay on the ground floor with kids! The door opens right onto the beach, making sand play easy. Just tell the front desk and they’ll usually accommodate.
Check the mosquito repellent device after check-in; ask for more if needed—it really works.
Ask if you can get a late check-out when you check out.
Since the hotel is close to the airport, it’s best to stay here the last night so you don’t have to move again before leaving.
The sunset at Cenang Beach is stunning—no need to book a sunset cruise, just watch from the hotel beach.
The small supermarket sells sand toys, so no need to bring your own.
This hotel is truly a worry-free choice for family trips to Langkawi. The environment, service, and convenience are all top-notch. Friends traveling with kids to Langkawi must stay here!!!
