📍Oaxaca Graphic Arts Institute This is one of my favorite places, and I visited it many times during my stay in Oaxaca. Founded in November 1988 by painter Francisco Toledo, this is the first cultural institution in Oaxaca City, and the building is beautiful. You can enjoy free art and read the artist's 50,000 books from his collection. 📕 It's quiet, and the courtyard is lovely, so it's perfect for relaxing. ✨ When I visited, a lecture by a graphic artist from LA was being held. #mexico #oaxaca #travel2026 #art Also, near the entrance, they sell artist merchandise like T-shirts and postcards, so it's a great place to browse for souvenirs. ☝️Notes - To use the library, you'll need to store your backpack or other belongings in a locker at the entrance. - There are no restrooms.
