#Santorini💙🇬🇷 #Greece🇬🇷💙 #Megalochori #Pyrgos #ProfitisIlias 🏝️🇬🇷💙 #travelwithramonessa 🌍 #SantoriniSunset 🌅✨ #GreekIslands🏝️ #LoveAndTravel 🤍 We started our morning on the beach, with a coffee in hand, the sea right in front of us and absolutely sublime weather. ☕🌊☀️ Around noon, we got in the car and set off to discover the villages hidden in the heart of the island. 🏝️🇬🇷🤍 First stop: Megalochori 🤍 An absolutely beautiful village, with such a peaceful and truly Greek atmosphere… bell towers, white arches, narrow little streets, traditional doors and bougainvillea blooming around every corner. 🌸🇬🇷 I absolutely loved this little village. ❤️ We wandered around without rushing and stopped to admire every little detail. It felt like every street had a story of its own. 🫶🏻 Then we arrived in Pyrgos. ✨ Up on the hill, with its white alleys, old walls, charming stairs and castle ruins, Pyrgos showed us a different side of Santorini. More authentic, more peaceful, but just as spectacular. And the view from the top over the island… simply breathtaking. 😍 Our last stop: Profitis Ilias ⛰️ The wind was gently blowing up there, and from the top we could see almost the entire island, especially the iconic blue domes and white houses scattered across the landscape. 💙🤍🇬🇷 We then headed back to the beach, and after sunset, we made our way to the airport and back home. ✈️🌅 That’s it. ✅ Santorini, you are pure magic! 🇬🇷🤍 You have a vibe that you simply cannot help but fall in love with. You stand hundreds of meters above the sea, framed by gnarled wild olive trees clinging to the rocky soil, looking straight down a sheer canyon gorge into a private horseshoe bay of deep turquoise water. The scale of the limestone cliffs plunging directly into the sea makes famous European coastal viewpoints like the Cliffs of Moher or Santorini's caldera feel almost tame by comparison, because Butterfly Valley remains so raw, green, and completely unbuilt.
