Gorkhi Terelj National Park
#OverseasTravel Mongolia is a vast country, too vast to capture in one glance, a place where pristine natural beauty remains intact. With its endless grasslands, deserts with distinct day and night temperatures, and ger accommodations where nomadic culture persists, I was able to experience a charm unlike any other travel destination. ✨ This time, I'll share how to enrich your Mongolian trip based on my own itinerary! On the first day, I started off with a leisurely city tour of Ulaanbaatar. Although it's the capital, the natural harmony of modern buildings and traditional temples and monuments was impressive. A quick stop at Sukhbaatar Square gave me a taste of Mongolian history and atmosphere. 🏙️ On the second day, I headed to Terelj National Park! The picturesque landscape of rocky mountains, grasslands, and frolicking horses unfolds before my eyes. Horseback riding in the grasslands and a visit to Turtle Rock are also highly recommended. 🐎 The third day was a tour of the Gobi Desert, the highlight of my Mongolian trip. The dramatic desert landscape and sunset are truly breathtaking, beyond words. 🌅 The crimson sky above the desert is still unforgettable. And, of course, staying in a ger (ger) is a must! Spending a warm night under the traditional heating system, called "burunga," and waking up to the smell of the grassland at dawn was truly special. The stars were so vivid at night that it felt like the Milky Way was streaming right above you. ✨ * The daily temperature range is large, so long sleeves and a light padded jacket are essential! The desert is especially cold at night. * A SIM card is more reliable than a pocket Wi-Fi in both the grasslands and the desert. 📶 * Since you'll be traveling long distances, it's a good idea to bring a neck pillow, snacks, and a portable battery. * Many gers don't have indoor bathrooms, so bring basic toiletries! Mongolia offers the true charm of nature and nomadic culture amidst its vast expanse!!! It was a travel destination where different charms unfolded depending on the itinerary🤎 #MongoliaTravel #Mongolia #MongolianGer #GobiDesert #TereljNationalPark

Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex
It’s the biggest statue of the man on a horse in the world. To enter inside you need to literally enter the horse tail 😄 but the views you get from there are just stunning. Chinggis Khaan statue is located 40 km from Ulaanbaatar and really worth visiting. He is said to conquer half of the world and this statue is so impressive. Looks like that he will become alive and will ride that horse running in the fields! The entrance fee is very cheap but the experience is one of a kind! #nomad #mongolia #chinggiskhan

#Travel itinerary 📆DAY 1📆 Arrival at Ulaanbaatar & Acclimatization Trekking in the vicinity ✈️ Arrive at Ulaanbaatar and check in to your accommodation or ger camp After unpacking, head towards Terelj National Park (about 1.5 hours by car) 🐫 In the afternoon, go on a light trek to ‘Turtle Rock’ or ‘Ariabal Monastery’ The mountain is gentle and the surrounding scenery is really open, so it feels good 🌿 🏕️ For dinner, eat local food at the ger camp and watch the stars ✨ ⸻ 📆DAY 2📆 Full-scale trekking & horse riding experience 🌤️ Wake up early in the morning and start trekking in the surrounding grasslands The course with the guide is about 3~4 hours long and is easy You can also add a horse riding experience in the middle, which is fun because you can watch the nomads handle their horses directly 🐎 Eat a light lunch in between Take a break ☕ After trekking, you can visit a nomad's home or experience making Airag (a traditional Mongolian dairy product) 🌌 At night, it's great for a campfire or taking pictures of the stars! ⸻ 📆DAY 3📆 Valley trekking & nature relaxation 🚙 Today, we will go to a deeper valley area and do a day trek For example, Yol Valley is popular (you need to move a little) ⛰️ Trekking has a variety of scenery because there are forests, rocks, and streams It is also good to pack a lunch and eat it like a picnic 🧖 In the afternoon, you can slowly return to the camp and use the hot springs if there are any It is good to have the Mongolian traditional barbecue 'Horhug' for dinner🍖 ⸻ 📆DAY 4📆 Move to Ulaanbaatar & take a quick look around the city 🚗 On the way back to Ulaanbaatar in the morning, we will look around the grassland once more and depart 🛍️ After arriving, stop by Svla Square or a local mart to buy souvenirs Take a quick break at a Mongolian traditional teahouse or cafe ✈️ Go to the airport and prepare to return home
State Department Store
🛒 Food & Souvenir Corner This corner was truly Mongolian. 🇲🇳 As you can see in the photo, products with "MADE IN MONGOLIA" written on them were lined up neatly. 🍖 IDLEG JERKY – Mongolian beef jerky! The packaging was also neat. 🥃 CHINGGIS GOLD Vodka – Mongolian vodka with a picture of Genghis Khan! The golden bottle is so pretty, it makes a perfect gift. There were also price tags on the shelf, like 48,880₮ and 57,780₮. 🍫 Golden Gobi Chocolate – The packaging was so cute, I automatically wanted to buy it💛 It was around 5,588₮. It's said to be Mongolia's signature chocolate. 🎁 Mongolian Ger Chocolate Tin – This feels like a perfect souvenir. The ger-shaped container says "PRODUCT OF MONGOLIA." Just looking at it makes me feel like I'm traveling in Mongolia! 🇲🇳 A state-run department store brimming with Mongolian sensibility — the perfect place to enjoy souvenirs, chocolate, and even vodka all in one place 💛 #MongoliaTravel #Ulaanbaatar #UlaanbaatarTravel #MongoliaIndependentTravel #MongoliaTravelItinerary #MongoliaHotPlaces #MongoliaTravelRecommendations #MongoliaPlacesToVisit #MongolianChocolate #GoldenGobi #MongolianVodka #ChinggisVodka #MongolianJerky #IDLEGJerky #MongolianSouvenirRecommendations #OverseasTravel #OctoberTravelSupport
