|1.41km from city centerAfter booking the room, the store has not contacted until the morning of the room entry. I took the initiative to send a message to him to add my WeChat account, and he did not have it either. I arrived at Jordan Station at 2 o'clock and kept looking for the hotel after 3 o'clock. In the end, I called him and he added me to WeChat, saying that I didn't see my text message. I left my mobile phone number when I booked the room, and even after the reserved check-in time, the store didn’t contact me at all. I thought the self-service hotel was interesting, but it turned out to be ignored. After arriving at the hotel, some questions are answered for a long time or not at all. One time is enough!

|1.56km from city centerI like the location of the hotel. It's just next to the MTR Jodan, which is very convenient.
The room is small but it's enough for me. It's very clean and looks just like in photos.
The lady there was very helpful and friendly even she couldn't communicate well in English, but still tried to help me as much as possible.
I was impressed 😊😊😊

|1.47km from city centerThe twin room ,I was the bedsheets were not changed, you could smell the cigarettes smoke on pillow cases and there was hair on bed sheets. Other hostels they supply adapter in the rooms but this one don’t.The ceiling was leaking near the door. There is no hot water and I didn’t see the hair blower. The toilet doesn’t flash. No toothbrush just one drying towel. This hotel has good location nearby the MTR and some restaurants, banks etc. It also has a good window view.It does have tight security. The owner doesn’t respond fast to messages.

|2.41km from city centerThe staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even came down to meet me when I arrived at 3:30 PM and assisted me with my luggage. Check-in was a breeze, and I was very pleased with my room – it felt so cozy, and the bed linens were lovely. The location is also excellent. I had a wonderful time in Hong Kong.

|0.09km from city centerThe place is good for its price, we booked 5 days last Dec 2024 for 4 pax and we've got a 2 double size bed, the size of the room is enough for us, given the size of the other rooms/guest house in HK is small, I think we have got that best room with windows. The guest house is near MTR and shopping malls. I suggest that they update and change the address in google map,, so others will find it easy and faster ( we found the guest house after 30 mins😅) I have attached the picture here of the front view of the building for reference.

|0.14km from city centerPROS:
• near transportation, MTR station and bus stops are few mins walk
• Ladies Market is few mins away
• 7/11, groceries, restaurants like Ichiran, Bestmart 360, Donki, fast food are very near
• landlady and landlord are accommodating, especially the landlady -she also knows English. They moved me to a different room after I told them my room smelled of cigarettes
• hot shower is available and enough water pressure
CONS:
• rooms are small, just enough for sleeping. For solo travellers, it might be enough but if you’re 2 people, it might be small. You can only open 1 luggage at a time
• hallways going to the units are not clean
• landlord and cleaning lady doesn’t speak English, only the landlady spoke English
• the first room I got smelled of cigarettes and had no windows, 2nd room was better but the pillows smelled of cigarettes
• 2nd room had annoying sound. Sounded like dripping of water which was really audible especially at night. If you are a light sleeper like me, this can disrupt your sleep

|2.47km from city centerMy friend enjoyed her stay in this hotel even though she had trouble communicating with the owner for check in at first. She arrived around 2-3am and no reception available when she called the contact number posted outside the main door, they had a bit misunderstanding because the owner can’t speak and understand English so well. Must have whatsapp or wechat app to communicate with them because on that app they will send you the pw and details of the designated room for the guest. Thanks

|1.45km from city centerIt's close to Jordan Station and faces the bus route, so it's very convenient.
The female owner was very kind and flexible in her response.
When I emailed her in advance, she replied very politely.
The female owner will need to explain to you how to enter the building by intercom or password on the first floor, and how to enter the hotel by password on the guest floor, so it's best to speak in English or Cantonese.
If this is difficult, you can email the hotel in advance and let them know your arrival time, and they will be able to assist you.
I used standard Chinese, but they were able to respond well and there were no problems with conversation or email. They were very polite.
The hotel is located in an old building that houses general housing and offices, so some things like the elevator and hot water in the shower are not ideal, but the price is quite cheap, so if you're used to traveling, it's not a problem at all. The air conditioning works.

|0.85km from city centerI feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

|2.39km from city centerThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient!
📍Room 503, 5/F, Haiphong Mansion, 53-55 Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui (Take airport bus A21 to stop 14, Cameron Road, takes about 54 minutes).
Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is right downstairs, and the A21 airport bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away.
I chose this hotel specifically to attend a concert at Kai Tak!
It's about a 10-minute walk to Tsim East MTR station (from Tsim East, you can take the Tuen Ma Line directly to Kai Tak Sports Park, which is only 6 stops and very convenient, costing 6.8 HKD one way).
However, the room is indeed very small. It's perfectly fine for one person, but for two adults, it might be a bit cramped, especially with luggage! So, I highly recommend it for solo travelers!
Within about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, you can reach New Harbour City, K11, Avenue of Stars, and China Ferry Terminal (where you can pick up City Line tickets). For food, I recommend:
1. Genki Sushi on the 2nd floor of Silvercord, a 5-minute walk away (great value for money, the sashimi is really fresh, and the tuna trio is a must-try – the melt-in-your-mouth tuna is absolutely divine).
2. For dim sum breakfast, Kowloon Cafe is just a 3-minute walk downstairs. Their breakfast set includes a Hong Kong-style milk tea for just 3 HKD, and it tastes very authentic.

|1.6km from city centerThere was no drinking water provided, as in other reviews. We stayed for three days and didn't even get a single bottle. There was no water dispenser at the counter. There were several bottles of water left over from previous guests in the refrigerator that the housekeeper forgot to throw away.
The housekeeper didn't refill the disposable towels, so we had to get them ourselves.
The kettle didn't work because the plug didn't work with the outlet in the room. The air conditioning in the room for three people wasn't very cool. They should replace it; it was too hot for three people. The cleanliness was okay. The location was convenient and check-in was easy. The owner responded quickly via WeChat.
The housekeeper needs improvement: she's sloppy and doesn't do a thorough job.

|2.39km from city centerIt was a bit hard to find at first. It's on the 13th floor of a building and the access is close to a main road but surrounded by stores so it is easy to miss.
The place itself was really nice. A water dispenser would be awesome as they won't give you cold water (just warm) but is the only complaint.
The location is really nice if you want to explore Kowloon, but also a metro station is just meters away so you won't lose time if you want to see other places in the city.
Staff didn't really speak English (or didn't want to when they found out I speak Chinese) so keep your translator handy!

|27.58km from city centerTung Chung - 2 nights - private double room
Expectation/Reality: this is the only provider of accommodation in the area so expectations need to be managed. They have the ability to essentially set terms, so the negative reviews here are likely from the folks who didn’t read the find print. The photos match the space very well. However the hostel reached out over what’s app a number of days before the booking asking for the $150 membership fee and $500 deposit, which I was not comfortable providing until arrival, however the hostel was okay with that.
Security: very good, there is a gate lock and a lock to the door, very safe.
Hygiene: overall very clean, no concerns.
Hospitality: the check in and out process is all over what’s app, so you are at the mercy of how responsive they are which can be frustration when trying to get in. Once you are in, it’s fine.
Social Atmosphere: good social spaces.
Overall: given they essentially have a monopoly on accommodation in the area. It’s a pretty good spot. I accidentally broke the key and they came and fixed it the next day, but took off $50 from the deposit. So handle the keys gently. Over pretty good place.

|0.17km from city centerWe did not pay that much, so we are not expecting much. We arrived early but the reception checked us in immediately, so we were so happy. The rooms were small but quite clean, air-conditioned, hot water and cozy beds, everything that we need. There's hair dryer and lots of tissue paper. Unlimited hot and cold water for drinking, we really appreciate this. They also have friendly staff. So overall, we liked the place. Oh ladies Market and sneaker Street is just outside, few walks, with 2 7-elevens and McDonald's very near the place. Mtr mong Kok station is just a minute or two, depending on how fast you walk. The complimentary breakfast is also delicious, and the restaurant decor is very retro. Sham Shui Po is truly a paradise for budget-friendly food; there's just too much to eat! Right next door is the famous Garden Bakery Company, which has opened a cafe and factory outlet. And from Garden Hill, behind Mei Ho House, you can enjoy a stunning night view.

|2.33km from city centerEverything at this capsule hotel was excellent except the air conditioner. The AC in the male-priority room does not work. It's common to see guests fidget with the AC remote control. But no matter the setting, it's just warm air coming out.
Some guests who complain to the manager were moved into the female-priority room where the AC works fine. But it's only if there's space in that room.
If outdoor temperature is in the low to mid 20s, you can probably still feel comfortable with the USB fan the hotel provides in the capsule. But if gets warmer than that, you're going to bake in the capsule.
On some nights, someone would leave the male-priority door open and use a large industrial fan to blow air from the common area into the room. This indeed works to cool the room. But some guests would close the door for privacy or noise.
If the owner would just fix the AC, this would be the best dorm/capsule hotel in Hong Kong.

|4.42km from city centerI recently stayed at Harbour Hella Inn for 2 weeks and overall, it was a unique experience. The hotel offers a modern and compact concept that is both practical and comfortable, making it suitable for both short and extended stays.
One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the housekeeper. She was incredibly friendly and made sure I had fresh towels every day, which added a nice touch to the overall comfort of my stay. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful provision of house shoes—definitely a cozy bonus!
The amenities available in the pod were quite convenient. Having a microwave and an electric stove made it easy to prepare simple meals, which is especially helpful for longer stays. The view from the hotel was another highlight; it was truly stunning and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere.
However, I did encounter some issues during my stay. The customer service staff, while friendly, were slow to respond on WhatsApp, particularly during an unsettling incident involving a creepy man. It would have been reassuring to receive quicker assistance in that situation, as safety is a top priority for any guest.
In summary, the hotel offers a unique and enjoyable experience with excellent housekeeping and nice amenities. Just be prepared for potential delays in customer service responsiveness. I would recommend it for those looking for a budget-friendly option with a great view, but I hope the management addresses the customer service aspect for future guests.

To cut it short, the manager (I dunno who - CS) doesn’t know how to handle situation and getting annoyed and stressed at all of us.
