This hotel doesn't feel like a hotel at all to me. Instead, it feels like a hotel. And it seems that there are no Hong Kong people staying there. To be honest, this hotel is not worth the price. I will not stay there again.

It’s a great location, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere. The staff are friendly. The lockers are good and the communal table spaces are great. There’s also slippers, a kettle, water filter tap and microwave/fridge. Bathrooms are make/female and are clean, good pressure and hot showers. The bedrooms are cool and have good aircon. The pods are good, but the mattresses are very thin. We stayed here for 5 days and it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, check in wasn’t very easy, it took a long time to get it to work as it didn’t seem to accept our name or booking number.

To my surprise, I had fully expected hostels in Hong Kong to be basic, but this one was incredibly comfortable. The four-person room had an en-suite bathroom, which was super convenient. The beds were also very comfy. They even offered luggage storage after check-out. It made my first solo trip at 19 a truly great experience!

I understand that Hong Kong is a crowded city, but we didn’t expect our room to be this small. It’s suitable for backpackers or solo travelers who don’t mind tight spaces. However, for those with large luggage (like me and my friend), we had to take turns opening our suitcases because there simply wasn't enough room to do so at the same time. The location is convenient, situated within a busy city district. However, the building is surrounded by food stalls, mostly serving Asian cuisine—particularly Indian and Filipino food. If you're sensitive to strong spices, especially those common in Indian cooking, be prepared for the smell lingering around the area. During our stay, the room light went out because the bulb had burnt out, but to be fair, the staff replaced it quickly once we informed them. On our last night, the passkey to our room stopped working. We had to go back to the information desk—which is in Block D—only to be sent to Block C where our room was. It was a bit of a hassle, especially since the lifts were often crowded and slow. Also, there was no hot water in the shower on our second day. We didn’t report it as we were in a rush, but it was still inconvenient. Overall, it’s okay if you're on a tight budget and don’t mind very basic accommodations. Just keep in mind that hotel prices in Hong Kong can be quite expensive in general, so if you’re looking for more comfort or space, be prepared to pay significantly more at other places.

The place is great for budget travellers who just need a place to sleep and store their stuff. The common area of the hotel is a wonderful touch. The hotel is located in the centre of the tourist area of Hong Kong. There are numerous cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Besides, there is a great park, the Alley of Stars, museums just within a 5-minute walk. The only inconvenience is the elevator, which is usually packed and there are a lot of people going to other floors of the building.

The geographical environment of Chongqing Building is really good, but I don't recommend that girls live here one or two. If there are many people, they can have a photo because the buildings are mostly Southeast Asians or black people. Girls love to go shopping and come back later. The buildings at night are all Southeast Asians with very few Asian faces. It’s not that it’s not good here. I want to explain that this store is opened by people in Southeast Asia. The location of Ctrip is wrong. You need to ask someone to find it. I hope my advice can help you.

For those from the mainland, expect that most accommdations are too narrow. You get what you pay for. You Can wait up in queue to get on the elevator during peak hours. They Can allow you to leave your luggage at the hallway to be picked up later on.

This is an honest review based on my personal experience. I was very pleased and happy with my hostel in HK. I stayed in United Co Operate for 4 Nights and during my stay I never had any problem, the staff(Indian ) was so nice he even let me check in earlier than the check in time. The room is spacious for a solo traveller like me,with a double size bed, with a hot and cold shower, sleepers and toilet paper. The room itself is more than ok for its price just don't expect the amenities of a 3-5 star hotel. The location is the most important part,it is near victoria harbour,Kowloon park and Tsim Sha Tsui mtr.Overall it's highly recommended.

Location, location, location. For business trips, that is, business trips, the price is okay. Not much to say, come back next time. I wish everyone a smooth business trip! Make big money! There are many shops nearby and the functions are good, Of course there are shortcomings, such as the sound, space, and age of the equipment, but I can accept that.

It’s a very good option for a budget solo traveler like me. Staying at this guesthouse was much better than I expected. Yes, the sheets were not very clean and the mansion definitely does have a big problem with the elevators. But on the bright side, location is great, air conditioning works (although it’s quite loud), room is not spacious but not tiny either, suitcase fits perfectly. They provide towels and slippers (but I recommend to bring your own towels since theirs are not very clean). Don’t forget to pack earplugs to have an undisturbed sleep. Staff members are very sweet and make you feel welcome. The housekeeper cleans every morning. By the way, instead of waiting for the elevator I used stairs. I lived on the 8th floor so it was okay for me. Some extra movement won’t hurt anyone! In general I definitely recommend this place if you’re traveling alone and keep a tight budget. But do bring sheets and towels if you don’t wanna feel too dirty.

Good location for transport links and Victoria harbour. Entrance to guest house is via inside a ground floor market. The reception & guest house is on the 12th floor accessed by 2 lifts (block E) from within the market. We arrived late after 11pm and after contacting the owner using the telephone in reception we had access to our rooms and were checked in smoothly. The rooms were clean, bright & freshly painted. Pillows, bedding & towels were spotlessly clean. The rooms were cleaned and beds made up every day. The rooms were small but more than adequate for our 4 night long weekend stay. The staff were very polite & helpfull. The owner Lisa kindly arranged for a private hire car to collect us for our return airport departure. I will definitely recommend & use this guest house again.

After booking the room, the store has not contacted until the morning of the room entry. I took the initiative to send a message to him to add my WeChat account, and he did not have it either. I arrived at Jordan Station at 2 o'clock and kept looking for the hotel after 3 o'clock. In the end, I called him and he added me to WeChat, saying that I didn't see my text message. I left my mobile phone number when I booked the room, and even after the reserved check-in time, the store didn’t contact me at all. I thought the self-service hotel was interesting, but it turned out to be ignored. After arriving at the hotel, some questions are answered for a long time or not at all. One time is enough!

The place is good for its price, we booked 5 days last Dec 2024 for 4 pax and we've got a 2 double size bed, the size of the room is enough for us, given the size of the other rooms/guest house in HK is small, I think we have got that best room with windows. The guest house is near MTR and shopping malls. I suggest that they update and change the address in google map,, so others will find it easy and faster ( we found the guest house after 30 mins😅) I have attached the picture here of the front view of the building for reference.

PROS: • near transportation, MTR station and bus stops are few mins walk • Ladies Market is few mins away • 7/11, groceries, restaurants like Ichiran, Bestmart 360, Donki, fast food are very near • landlady and landlord are accommodating, especially the landlady -she also knows English. They moved me to a different room after I told them my room smelled of cigarettes • hot shower is available and enough water pressure CONS: • rooms are small, just enough for sleeping. For solo travellers, it might be enough but if you’re 2 people, it might be small. You can only open 1 luggage at a time • hallways going to the units are not clean • landlord and cleaning lady doesn’t speak English, only the landlady spoke English • the first room I got smelled of cigarettes and had no windows, 2nd room was better but the pillows smelled of cigarettes • 2nd room had annoying sound. Sounded like dripping of water which was really audible especially at night. If you are a light sleeper like me, this can disrupt your sleep

My friend enjoyed her stay in this hotel even though she had trouble communicating with the owner for check in at first. She arrived around 2-3am and no reception available when she called the contact number posted outside the main door, they had a bit misunderstanding because the owner can’t speak and understand English so well. Must have whatsapp or wechat app to communicate with them because on that app they will send you the pw and details of the designated room for the guest. Thanks

It's close to Jordan Station and faces the bus route, so it's very convenient. The female owner was very kind and flexible in her response. When I emailed her in advance, she replied very politely. The female owner will need to explain to you how to enter the building by intercom or password on the first floor, and how to enter the hotel by password on the guest floor, so it's best to speak in English or Cantonese. If this is difficult, you can email the hotel in advance and let them know your arrival time, and they will be able to assist you. I used standard Chinese, but they were able to respond well and there were no problems with conversation or email. They were very polite. The hotel is located in an old building that houses general housing and offices, so some things like the elevator and hot water in the shower are not ideal, but the price is quite cheap, so if you're used to traveling, it's not a problem at all. The air conditioning works.

I feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! 📍Room 503, 5/F, Haiphong Mansion, 53-55 Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui (Take airport bus A21 to stop 14, Cameron Road, takes about 54 minutes). Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is right downstairs, and the A21 airport bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. I chose this hotel specifically to attend a concert at Kai Tak! It's about a 10-minute walk to Tsim East MTR station (from Tsim East, you can take the Tuen Ma Line directly to Kai Tak Sports Park, which is only 6 stops and very convenient, costing 6.8 HKD one way). However, the room is indeed very small. It's perfectly fine for one person, but for two adults, it might be a bit cramped, especially with luggage! So, I highly recommend it for solo travelers! Within about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, you can reach New Harbour City, K11, Avenue of Stars, and China Ferry Terminal (where you can pick up City Line tickets). For food, I recommend: 1. Genki Sushi on the 2nd floor of Silvercord, a 5-minute walk away (great value for money, the sashimi is really fresh, and the tuna trio is a must-try – the melt-in-your-mouth tuna is absolutely divine). 2. For dim sum breakfast, Kowloon Cafe is just a 3-minute walk downstairs. Their breakfast set includes a Hong Kong-style milk tea for just 3 HKD, and it tastes very authentic.

There were several bottles of water left over from previous guests in the refrigerator that the housekeeper forgot to throw away. The housekeeper didn't refill the disposable towels, so we had to get them ourselves. The kettle didn't work because the plug didn't work with the outlet in the room. The air conditioning in the room for three people wasn't very cool. They should replace it; it was too hot for three people. The cleanliness was okay. It was a bit hard to find at first. It's on the 13th floor of a building and the access is close to a main road but surrounded by stores so it is easy to miss. The place itself was really nice. A water dispenser would be awesome as they won't give you cold water (just warm) but is the only complaint. The location is really nice if you want to explore Kowloon, but also a metro station is just meters away so you won't lose time if you want to see other places in the city. Staff didn't really speak English (or didn't want to when they found out I speak Chinese) so keep your translator handy!

Tung Chung - 2 nights - private double room Expectation/Reality: this is the only provider of accommodation in the area so expectations need to be managed. They have the ability to essentially set terms, so the negative reviews here are likely from the folks who didn’t read the find print. The photos match the space very well. However the hostel reached out over what’s app a number of days before the booking asking for the $150 membership fee and $500 deposit, which I was not comfortable providing until arrival, however the hostel was okay with that. Security: very good, there is a gate lock and a lock to the door, very safe. Hygiene: overall very clean, no concerns. Hospitality: the check in and out process is all over what’s app, so you are at the mercy of how responsive they are which can be frustration when trying to get in. Once you are in, it’s fine. Social Atmosphere: good social spaces. Overall: given they essentially have a monopoly on accommodation in the area. It’s a pretty good spot. I accidentally broke the key and they came and fixed it the next day, but took off $50 from the deposit. So handle the keys gently. Over pretty good place.

The location is excellent! Near to all public transport. The room is small but good thing, it has comfy beds that can accommodate up to 6 people. I highly recommend this for those who are busget traveller with families or friends.

Great location. Place with many hostels so check the right tower and floor (C, 12F). For check-in wait after you ring the bell as they have more hostels in the building. Small room (typical for HK) but clean, nice and safe. 👍

Everything at this capsule hotel was excellent except the air conditioner. The AC in the male-priority room does not work. It's common to see guests fidget with the AC remote control. But no matter the setting, it's just warm air coming out. Some guests who complain to the manager were moved into the female-priority room where the AC works fine. But it's only if there's space in that room. If outdoor temperature is in the low to mid 20s, you can probably still feel comfortable with the USB fan the hotel provides in the capsule. But if gets warmer than that, you're going to bake in the capsule. On some nights, someone would leave the male-priority door open and use a large industrial fan to blow air from the common area into the room. This indeed works to cool the room. But some guests would close the door for privacy or noise. If the owner would just fix the AC, this would be the best dorm/capsule hotel in Hong Kong.

I recently stayed at Harbour Hella Inn for 2 weeks and overall, it was a unique experience. The hotel offers a modern and compact concept that is both practical and comfortable, making it suitable for both short and extended stays. One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the housekeeper. She was incredibly friendly and made sure I had fresh towels every day, which added a nice touch to the overall comfort of my stay. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful provision of house shoes—definitely a cozy bonus! The amenities available in the pod were quite convenient. Having a microwave and an electric stove made it easy to prepare simple meals, which is especially helpful for longer stays. The view from the hotel was another highlight; it was truly stunning and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. However, I did encounter some issues during my stay. The customer service staff, while friendly, were slow to respond on WhatsApp, particularly during an unsettling incident involving a creepy man. It would have been reassuring to receive quicker assistance in that situation, as safety is a top priority for any guest. In summary, the hotel offers a unique and enjoyable experience with excellent housekeeping and nice amenities. Just be prepared for potential delays in customer service responsiveness. I would recommend it for those looking for a budget-friendly option with a great view, but I hope the management addresses the customer service aspect for future guests.

Whenever I am on solo trip to HK, this is my go to accommodation. Location is very near the Mong Kok Station. It was only in this situation (yesterday) that made me infuriated about the Nap - their self-check in was not working, and people are already lining up outside. To cut it short, the manager (I dunno who - CS) doesn’t know how to handle situation and getting annoyed and stressed at all of us.
