The apartment is on the sixth floor of Shengdi Building, not far from Century Park Station and Longyang Road Metro Station. There are two flights of stairs leading to the lobby. Upon opening the door, there's a clean kitchen counter on the right, stocked with oil, salt, sauce, and vinegar. Inside the cabinets are an electric rice cooker, an induction cooktop, and a wok. There's no detergent, and I noticed a little oil dripping from the range hood. It's fine for cooking simple meals. If you need to use pots and pans, it's best to buy a bottle of dishwashing liquid or ask customer service for some. The bathroom sink and countertops are clean, and the flooring is also acceptable. There's a washing machine, but I didn't find any detergent or laundry detergent. The apartment is very clean. A friend who frequently visits here for meetings and work says this apartment is better than many of the nearby brand-name properties because it has windows with views and good ventilation. He says hotels are far superior to these apartment B&Bs, as many brand-name hotels lack windows or have interior windows. This is something he finds unique about this area of Shanghai. He highly recommends staying in an apartment B&B over a hotel. After staying there, I felt it made sense. The air conditioning was also very quiet. Turn right and go down the traffic light to the morning market, making it very convenient for shopping. Takeout was delivered quickly to the room. The room had a refrigerator, but the freezer compartment was small, perfect for storing small items. Disposable towels and a very useful drawstring trash bag were provided. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Areas that could be improved: 1. The bathroom stall was small and old, with aging waterproofing on the door, which leaked onto the floor. Every time I showered, there was a very absorbent mop hanging on the wall. 2. The toilet was small and old, with a broken drain button that leaked a bit. 3. The toothpaste included in the disposable toothbrush was poor; it barely bubbled. 4. The bed was wide, so the sides easily bumped against my legs; it could have had protective corner covers. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in, it was generally clean, hygienic, and well-ventilated. It was also convenient and felt like home. I'm used to leaving the room clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay at this hostel! It’s new, nicely renovated, and in a perfect location to explore the city, just a 10minute walk to the metro. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby for anything you might need. They provide you clean sheets (which you will put on the bed yourself), slippers, a toothbrush, and free coffee or tea. There is also a laundry area available at a very affordable price. At checkout, they allow you to leave your luggage there. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and always helpful, they took care of everything I asked for. The room was clean, it has air conditioning, a comfortable bed and pillow, with a good bathroom and shower. One thing I really liked: each bed comes with a locker you can open with your room card — which is actually rare in hostels in China! The only weird part is that the sink and hair dryer are inside the room, so it can get a bit noisy if someone uses them early in the morning or late at night. But honestly, that’s a small thing; overall I totally recommend this place!

Even the stylish shower curtain in the bathroom, simple yet elegant, was perfectly charming and thoughtful. Despite being embraced by a natural ecosystem where 'little creatures' might be expected, the guesthouse environment was exceptionally well-maintained. We didn't find a single mosquito or insect in our room, which is truly remarkable for such a natural setting. My child was particularly captivated by the little frogs, who merrily hopped along the path to the pool and around the courtyard. Peering out the window, their eyes sparkled with a pure, unadulterated love for nature. In that moment, I felt like I was looking at my younger self, brimming with a desire to explore the world. On our second day, my brother decided to make pizza in the guesthouse kitchen. What started as a playful experiment turned into an astonishing culinary success! The pizza was incredibly delicious; even my brother, who usually shies away from pizza, couldn't stop at three slices! It wasn't just good because he made it; it was genuinely fantastic. And despite being an amateur effort, it was absolutely authentic. The owner had been burning lychee wood charcoal, specially transported from Guangzhou, since early morning. Paired with the kitchen's homemade tomato and onion sauce, the aroma was simply irresistible, making our mouths water. I am determined to visit this guesthouse in all four seasons to fully appreciate its distinct charm throughout the year. In spring, it might be adorned with wildflowers, the air heavy with the scent of damp earth. Summer would offer lush shade and the soothing symphony of cicadas, an ideal escape from the heat. Autumn would transform the paths into a golden tapestry of fallen leaves, like a scene from a fairytale. And in winter, perhaps blanketed in snow, it would resemble a tranquil ink wash painting. Regardless of the season, this place is destined to be a sanctuary for the soul.
