We are a group of 7 friends. I made a reservation for all of us together and paid around 8€, which I thought was a very good price. The day we arrived, the owner told us the price was per person and not for the whole booking, which was odd as the reservation already had our 7 names on it, but also reasonable considering the very low price. After our stay I can honestly say that the original price of 8€ for 7 is the maximum I would have paid for this place. The rooms themselves are not too bad and in line with the Chinese standard (quite right, very hard and slim futon mattresses), but also clean sheets and good privacy with curtains. The real issue with this place are the bathrooms. First of all there are only two of them for more than 20 people. Secondly, they are nothing short of disgusting. One of them is a room with a squatting toilet, a sink and a shower that smells like piss worse than a public toilet. The second one has a Western toilet with a broken toilet seat and a shower without a shower head (basically like a garden hose). I normally don't complain about these things as I'm used to traveling on a budget. But as I said, these are things I would have totally accepted if the price I paid was indeed the original one I made a reservation for. Especially because for that price (as a group of 7) you can find cheaper and nicer options in the same area. I would not recommend this place unless you really can't find anything cheaper or better, or if you want to be very close to the civic center. Definitely not a good place to stay more than 1 night.

The toilet and shower are a bit iffy, but it's conveniently located and you can do your laundry, so it's recommended considering the price. Check-in/out: The entrance is on the back side of the building as shown on Google Maps and Baidu Maps (opposite the car dealership. You can see a kindergarten right in front of you). It's the building marked B. Trip.com says it's on the 11th floor, but that's a women's only room, so don't go there. The reception is in room 1504 on the 15th floor. There was only one staff member who could speak English, but it seems that they don't understand English. You need WeChat to check in, so prepare it in advance (note that WeChat authentication will cause an error if you are connected to a VPN). There was no staff member at the check-out, and I didn't get anything, so I just left. Room: There are no lockers with keys. It's clean. Free Wi-Fi is available. The speed is fine. Shared space: There are a fair number of people. It's clean. Shower: There is a hole for a Japanese-style toilet directly below. The water in the toilet bowl will splash out, so it's better to flush it first. There are four buttons, and the second from the right is for the shower. The leftmost button is for the high-pressure jet, so don't confuse it with a portable washlet. The water pressure is so high that you could get hurt. The shower pressure is moderate. The water warms up little by little, and at the end it's almost hot. No shampoo or body soap. Toilet: It's a Japanese-style toilet. It's right under the shower, so it's soaking wet. Be careful, there's no toilet paper. There are relatively clean toilets in nearby shopping malls and stations, so I think it's best to use those as a general rule.
