The hotel owner was friendly! And the facilities were better than I expected. The bathroom was cleaned every two days, which was nice. I was a little surprised by the lighting, but there were no bugs and it was usable. However, I saw a cockroach in the common area early in the morning. I think it came in from outside because the front door is right outside... but I haven't seen it since that day. The soundproofing isn't very good. There's not much information, but shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer are provided, and I think they provide at least one towel per person. It's not a hotel, but a B&B, so it's worth checking out if you're looking to save money.

Started on the low side as the room wasn’t cleaned from previous people when I checked in. I like this this place because of it's location really near to Metro, some tourist attractions like walk of fame, tcl, dolby theater, ovation mall. Didn't book hop on hop off but the pick up location is just near. The room is clean and spacious. Although the bed is too high you need to duck upon waking up. The shared bathroom is clean and organized. The kitchen is nice you can cook, store food and breakfast is delicious. The staff is nice too. The only cons is the stairs from the door to the reception. If you have big luggages it's kinda struggling, i hope there could be staff that can help lifting the luggages. There's a parking beside the hostel too. All in all, I like my stay here. You can meet new friends and really accessible to metro and some bus stations and some locations.

Although the Indian accent was difficult to understand, it was very enthusiastic to help us solve the problem. The breakfast was quite good, yogurt coffee, and a mint cheesecake made me very impressed. If you are in the location, you can walk from Universal Studios for ten minutes, but the road is a bit hard to find.

My roommates during this stay were all very considerate – lights were out by 10 PM, and they were mindful not to disturb others when entering or leaving. I was very pleased with this. Though simple, the breakfast was substantial and filling. The location is super convenient: easily reachable by bus from the airport, it felt very safe, and Santa Monica Beach is just a short walk away. Extremely convenient overall.

The room was clean, but the bathroom and toilet in the public area were dirty. The kitchen was dirty, shoes were stuck on the floor, and the sound insulation was poor. You could hear people talking while playing music in the next room. The central air conditioner had a strong smell of food when other people cooked. The mattress was easy to collapse and was very uncomfortable.

The host, Ron, was very friendly, very understanding guy. 100% made my experience comfortable. The location is next to Little Tokyo and the (new) Little Tokyo subway station. A lot of good eating areas around Little Tokyo. The sleeping/living area had very poor air conditioning. The bathroom and shower are quite rustic and gross, but that's not something I personally care about. I know other people are sensitive to this, so I will preface that I saw cockroaches in the bathroom. By no means is the toilet disgusting without being cleaned, but rather something you'd find at a bar downtown... Generally speaking though, the experience was good and I will be visiting again in the future. To emphasize, the host, Ron, really made me feel comfortable with being in LA.

I visited from LAX after travelling to Mexico. It does have a great amount of things to do in the area. It's good for a stopover, it has all of the economic things you need like a shower, plug-ins, and kitchen + microwave. Make sure you don't overwealhm yourself by staying to long. For that I rated it like 4 stars because there's so much to do, and the food makes it impossible. Overall it was a perfect experience.

I think the location is pretty good, very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, only 2-3 minutes' walk away, which is a good distance, suitable for people who want to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame and want a cheap place to stay. It is highly recommended. The boss is also very kind and considerate. If you need any equipment or tools, just tell the boss and he will help you. I am traveling to Universal Studios, which is a long way away. In summary, if you want to save money and find a cheap place, it is worth recommending. 👍

A very beautiful big house, it feels more like an airbnb homestay, not like a hotel, but it feels very special. The house is located in the wealthy area on the mountain. It is very luxurious. It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. He knew that we were Chinese and would help us cook dumplings, watch TV on the cctv channel, recommend tourist routes, etc. He was very very enthusiastic and made us all embarrassed, toilet The two rooms are shared, but there is no one next door on the day we stayed, so it is equivalent to a private toilet. The entrance password changes every day(?), but this is not notified to all users. At least, there are a certain number of guests, including myself, who cannot open the door and hit the intercom repeatedly at night, and who bang on the door repeatedly. This is probably the case for people who have not returned to the inn for more than a day (stayed elsewhere during their stay). I was afraid of getting into trouble as a result of letting someone in at my own discretion, so I asked the owner to contact me directly and gave him the owner's phone number, but the owner did not answer the phone and I ended up letting him in. To be honest, the sound of people hitting the intercom repeatedly and banging on the door at night was scary for me. I may have overlooked something, including myself... We booked this room for a quick refresh during our 11 hour layover in LA before our international flight. The hostel was very clean, organized, and served our needs. I would highly recommend. The staff provided all of the information in a detailed email with a video on how to locate the hostel as well as where to park.

I was not aware it was hostel until I got there being it was my first stay in hostel i was impressed by quietness overall did not hear noise until morning from lady across the way playing her music other wise it was not too bad. Parking is residential so be prepared to dropped off or wait for someone to leave so you can find somewhere to park. It’s not best location however it’s not the worse it is LA south central lol

This hostel was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was enough space to store my luggage. On site washer and dryer. On site snack and drink vending machine. Community refrigerators to use if you like for personal groceries. Everyone was welcoming and very polite. I felt very comfortable and safe. This hostel to set up for long term if needed. The check in/out process was respectfully simple. The free street parking was a bit challenging so I added the optional service to reserve a parking on the hostel property. Close the shopping stores, restaurants, grocery stores, bank's, bus stations, etc. I highly recommend this hostel.
