The location is excellent in Cape. It is close to the long street and large supermarkets, so you don't have to walk. There is a bar downstairs. Although it is noisy, it is very safe. The service is very enthusiastic. Everyone is very enthusiastic. It is a good choice for me who is not very good at English. It is also very clean. The girl at the front desk enthusiastically guided me how to play in Zhoushan and Mong Kok. She was not tired of it. I stayed in this hotel for six nights and felt very happy and made a lot of friends. 🥳

We booked the same room again on the 25th. Then we requested to check out at 1pm. We didn’t hear anything from no one. This morning at 10am there was knocking on our door. The lady said its time to check out. I said mo cause we requested to check out at 1pm. She went ahead and said there are extra fees and she will ask the front desk. 5min later knocked again on the door. Says no we cant stay and have to check out at 11am(note this was at 10:20am) when she told me, I went ahead and told her this is on them and we requested to leave later. She left, next minute, a man came back. All arrogant. Told me why didn’t I pack up my bags the previous night. Also said that if I dont leave cleaners will come. I said its okah they can come but I might still be busy packing up. He said if thats the case they can help me put my stuff outside. I told him I dont like the tone he is using and being aggressive. He said hr not aggressive but he definitely was and threatened me with security that will escort me out. He left and came back(note I was in my towel) he said he left me in my towel and I am still the same( note I took a shower, busy packing up stuff in the room as we came from abroad and had a lot of baggage) he said he is calling security. Then my husband came out of the room and told him why he using that tone with me and he been listening to him the whole time! This man immediately changed his whole tune when he saw my husband. So inappropriate! And disrespectful! Will definitely will not be staying here again.

We received the most friendliest service, when we arrived. The owners Jenny and Sebastian was so welcoming and me and my two kids really enjoyed it there. They offered us a delicious breakfast Saturday and Sunday and throughout, they told us about a little book store in the area that we visited three times! It was like heaven for my daughter who love bookstores. We took walks on the beach which is just opposite and took lots of photos. Manor on the bay is definitely a place I would go to again for a weekend stay.

We stayed here for 9 nights and overall, it’s great value. The apartment is spacious for 4 people with two bathrooms, a private parking spot, and a very convenient location. The apartment itself is clean and well-maintained — comfy beds, nice sheets, good AC/heater, and heated towel racks are a bonus! A few minor issues: the guest toilet flush didn’t work properly, one dull scissor, and a small leak in the guest bathroom. The biggest disappointment was the service, which felt slow and forgetful. Parking was a hassle at first — the spot arranged for us wasn’t actually ours, so we had to move around for a few days before getting the correct one. We requested an extra bath mat on day one for the bathroom leak but only received it in the last two days after following up. Cleaning was also frustrating — we cleared the space for it, but nothing was done. With only one scheduled cleaning during our stay, which was delayed because they forgot, our apartment was only cleaned on the second-to-last day. I’d stay again because the apartment itself is great, but service and responsiveness need improvement.

It is safe to walk around, not far from the park and beach in front of the sun hill behind; it is also more than one kilometer to take the RED BUS sightseeing car. I didn't change the garbage bags and towels after living for three days. Does it have to be full before changing? Inexplicable.

A wonderful place to stay. The owners have a very special place here. Lovely room with views out to the ocean. So peaceful and quiet. The stairs up to the property with lovely mosaic features. Would love to stay again as one night wasn't enough. An honesty fridge with cold drinks and snacks was great.

Advantages: It is close to the waterfront, the room is okay, and the space is large, with a separate living room. Disadvantages: Although it is close to the waterfront, the front and back buildings perfectly block all the landscape, and the waterfront and the Table Mountain cannot be seen. The worst part is that the hot water in the room is not automatic. My partner and I turned around for a long time and found a button. The water wasted for a long time. One person finished washing the other without hot water ... The worse thing is, A 1,000zar deposit was charged. My partner and I forgot to take the deposit when checking out, and they did not remind me. Then we took the deposit bar to retrieve the deposit, saying that the envelope in which our deposit was placed was missing, and we asked him to adjust the monitoring. One of them said that they could not take money from other places, but that the person in charge of the monitoring room was not there. We have to wait for the buddy who checked out the next day to come to work to pay the deposit. We also left our contact information and said that it resolved it and called us, but we did n’t call until the next day. Fortunately, we did n’t rush to rush the plane that day. The next day we went to get the money and the little brother took it out. 1000zar returned to us. I think as a hotel, the deposit bar is the proof that you owe the customer money. No matter where you keep the deposit, it should be returned unconditionally at the first time. If you do n’t lose your envelope, do n’t dare us. Those who check in must remember to take the deposit bar, we are fortunate to save it this time, otherwise they will be hacked. As a large hotel, the quality of employees is very problematic.
