MDV960MDV960We stayed here for a layover. There was no deposit required, and although the front desk didn't speak Chinese, they were excellent and communicated perfectly in English. You can store your luggage for free right in the lobby. For toiletries, you just need to ask the front desk. They even added us on WeChat, so if you need anything, you can just message them and a front desk assistant will help. The front desk staff are all fantastic! Check-in is available from 2 PM, and the room was clean. The hotel room even provided small hair ties, pencils, and erasers – everything you could need, which was super nice! The location is a bit off the beaten path, but taxis in Kota Kinabalu are very cheap. It was only 6 ringgit to Gaya Street and 10 ringgit to the beach. This place is great!!!

However, the cleanliness of the room and all the facilities is below my expectations. Check-in was smooth, but I was assigned a room with a connecting door, which might be a bit unsettling if you're traveling alone. I only chose this place as a one-night stopover before moving to the Marriott tomorrow. The picture is of the Marriott.
Zieq OZieq OWhat we thought would be a pleasant stay in KK turned out to be a very uncomfortable one.
I couldn’t sleep through most of the night due to the aircon being malfunctioned. Although it was set to the coolest temperature on turbo mode, the room was still warm and stuffy & was not cold no matter how long we waited.
Furthermore, the noise from the nearby road was unbearable and you could hear loud vehicles zooming past Jalan Coastal every few seconds, disrupting our piece.
The good side however, was the shared washing machine and dryer which we used.
Would not recommend Homi Breeze to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep.
It wiuld be good if there is a fan at least to ventilate the room or bave the aircon fixed.

I thought it was an apartment with a separate living room, but it was a standard hotel room with a linear layout and a bed. I hadn't seen many detailed reviews, so I was a bit worried, but it exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the view of the Filipino Market right in front and the ocean view. I'm not a light sleeper, so I slept comfortably, but those who are sensitive might find it noisy as planes fly directly overhead. The hotel has a pool, gym, and washing machine, and overall, I was satisfied with my stay!LANCE_ONGLANCE_ONGThe hotel is just situated at the main road side, the ikan bakar below the hotel is superb and the downside is motorbike making noise in the midnight and the parking was quiet hard to get on weekend or public holidays and now u have to pay for the parkingPrisca EPrisca EI asked for swan shaped towel deco but didnt get it,.😬maybe they ask for an extra charge but idk hehe, but the stay was good, The breakfast menu was superb also.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a five to six-minute walk to Suria Sabah and Jesselton Point. Housekeeping cleaned daily, and the service was good. The only issues were that the shower door didn't close properly, so water always leaked onto the floor after showering. Also, the sofa had a lot of stains that looked like they couldn't be cleaned anymore.
